Ability to automatically set auto-deletion of subfolders under a given folder.
Currently, we can manually set auto-deletion of a folder via folder settings. We want auto-deletion be set automatically for all newly created folders and files that are under a given folder (in a similar way as how folder-based retention policy auto-delete file versions under the folder.). Unlike retention policy which only admins can configure via admin console, we want this feature to be configurable by end users.

Improve Relay error messaging for missing info
If there is info missing, the relay workflow can still be saved. Instead of wiping out all that you've drafted, it goes into an inactive state so you don’t lose your work when you close the window.
Even better would be if the error tells you WHERE you are missing info. Instead of the vague, “please fill out all required fields before saving" messaging

Ability to log download activity from download link by someone.
If you get download link within 15 minutes after creating, you can download it from download link. However, we don't log it in User Activity at all. We would like to log it in Admin Report.

Add notes at timestamps of audio and video
Enable users to add timestamp notes (annotations, comments) on files with audio or video. For example: the ability to add a note at a certain point in time in the video, especially for feedback purposes.

Last Mile File Security (When moved out of Box)
Box is a reasonably safe platform for file security. However, when a file moves or downloads out to a user device it drops the security controls in box.
Can there be control when the file of specific classification moves out, the downloaded copy of the file is encrypted and open to the recipient only after box authentication.

have the ability to contract access to a single sub-folder or document within a parent or sub-folder so that sensitive documents can bee keep with the appropriate subject, but limited to view only, or not at all.

Fix color shift for images in Preview
Issues with weird color shift in the preview window for .jpg photos. … and they HAVE NOT been resolved IN OVER 3 YEARS, despite how many forum posts about it Box marks as solved and how many tickets I’ve submitted. This is really effing ridiculous. Re-write your image preview code. It is near useless for anyone working professionally where image quality is important.

Need to be able to display the whole file name on the All Files page.
Need to be able to display the whole file name on the All Files page. Even very long file names vs. the 3 dots. The current feature that allows you to make the "Name" column a little wider is not nearly enough. Users should have the option to display the entire name if they wish.

Improve Gmail integration of saving Email into Box as text file
Currently, when I save a email in Gmail to Box as a text file, the format is broken and unreadable when I preview it in Box.

Add a BOX datastore to allow native search on Windows
Box can only be searched with the box search window, ctrl+shift+alt+b which is a workflow downgrade because it is not possible to search in a file browser and also it is much slower.
The solution is to provide Windows with a BOX data store and send notification to the indexer when files are synced or changed, then search service will take care of everything for you and we win!
The benefit of this method is that you have full control over what you feed the indexer so there is no security risk. For example you can let only filenames for…8 votes -
Unable to administer Macro Enabled Office Documents in Box
At present we have a Group Policy that prevents Macro Enabled Office documents from being opened in our environment. When a macro enabled document is uploaded into box, it circumvents the group policy and is able to be opened on our network. We'd love the ability to manage the types of documents able to be downloaded/opened on our network based on their file extension or type of document.

Support for some special letters from other languages
I think it's kind of a bug or i don't know: when the file i try to upload have in it's name "not so ordinary" characters i will get an error. Letters like these ones, with symbols: ä, á, ç, é, ñ, etc, there are others, you get the point. Just sayin`...
