I want a function that can sort and display the results of folders and files searched from the user activity report.

Ability to view file menu without zooming out
In order to see the entire "More options" menu for a specific file, I need to ZOOM OUT. It cuts off even on a larger monitor/resolution at 100%.
If I could attach an image to show an example, I would.

Would love to see a feature that tracks document opening and page views in the same way that DocSend & PandaDoc do.

Co-edit password-protected files
Under current specifications, password-protected files are not supported by Box for Office Online and cannot be co-edited.
The password must be removed on the file for collaborative editing.
We request the ability to collaborate on editing even passworded files, such as being able to temporarily remove the password on Box.4 votes -
File upload restriction to ensure file name matches the folder name
We would like to store files in the correct folder for each customer.
What I want to say is that we have to accurately store files entrusted to us by our clients in the proper folders. However, this is done manually by a person, so it is possible to make a mistake but we are not allowed to make mistakes.Therefore, when storing files in a folder, we would like to establish a mechanism to block attempts to store files that do not match by having the file name and folder name match.

Enable option for me to have more than one Company Internal Display Name and brand logo
Enable option for me to have more than one Company Internal Display Name and brand logo.
My customer has multiple Box accounts today because we don't offer this. Ideally, they can change the brand based on who is logging in (e.g. if I login through company AAA, then my custom Box brand is AAA.app.box.com, and BBB, then my custom Box domain is BBB.app.box.com).

Box Sync support for Apple M1. We use Box Sync because it gives you the ability to choose which folders you want synced on the computer. Would love Box Sync support for Apple M1

Ability to lock file to prevent other users from editing a file
Lock and Unlock feature: The lock feature should be set so that when the Person A locks a file so that they can work on the file, it should prevent the others listed on the Share from being able to Unlock the file. It defeats the purpose of locking the file if someone else can just unlock it while Person A is still in the midst of editing a file. The only person outside of Person A who should have the option is the Owner and Co-owner of the Box folder. All others like Editor, Viewer etc, should NOT be…

Relay: Involve external Users to a manual workflow as "not-owner" of the folder/file
Hi,
i discribe a situation:
The Admin is the owner of all folders/files, directors has co-owner-rights and all employees are editors. It is similarly discribed in "Folder Structure Best Practices" under "Business Unit Drive"
Now we invite some external users... not only the owner can invite them.
Then we create some relays for specific folder, especially some manual ones, assign a task and set the Assignee to "Specify at startup"...not only the owner can do this.
Last but not least we start the manual workflow and choose as Assignee an external user... but wait...ONLY the owner of the folder (1…20 votes -
Improve UI for folder structure drop-downs
I find it visually confusing that the drop-down carat for my Folders is the same size, color, and thin-stroked icon as the "X" which deletes my folders. I can't tell you how many times I've inadvertently deleted a Favorite because my brain is expecting a 2nd drop-down menu. Some differentiation in color, size, position, treatment, etc. might help.

Restrict the ability to create shared links for specific folders
I want to be able to disable the option to create a shared link on specific folders containing sensitive information. If I give access to an external collaborator, it means that I gave him an access with a username (his email) and password. i have the option to see if he downloaded or viewed the file. I don't want that external collaborator to create a shared link and send it to someone else.

Ability to do a paid roll up for accounts that have the developer console enabled.
I'd like to be able to do paid roll up for accounts that have the developer console enabled.
Free accounts that currently have the developer console enabled must be demoted to an Individual account and then roll up.
It takes time and man-hours to rewind after requesting demotion to Box for the account in question.
We would like to improve the functionality so that roll up can be performed even if the developer console is enabled.開発者コンソールが有効になっているアカウントの有償巻き取りを出来るようにして欲しい

I want to be able to open a folder in File Explorer from Box.com
I've used Dropbox previously, and there's a feature on the browser version that allows you to open a files containing folder in File Explorer on Windows or Finder on OSX. For Box, the only options to open something on your computer from the web version is with the file's native app. It would improve our workflow significantly if we were able to open a file folder on our computer from the Box.com browser.

File Explorer Search Capabilities on Box Drive
Box Sync allowed for File Explorer searching. Box Drive does not.
This is a HUGE negative.

Expand Checkbox functionality to allow "check one" or "check all that apply"
I'd like to see a functionality added in Box Sign to the Checkbox feature. Currently, ALL checkboxes must be checked in order to proceed with completion of a document. We have an acknowledgement document we have created where the employee must check EITHER "I Agree" OR 'I Disagree"....not both. Box sign does not currently support this. I'd like to see an added capability to the Checkbox feature, a "conditional checkbox", which would allow both a "check one of these" option or a "check all that apply".

Remove Box-branded Box Sync folder icon in MacOS Finder Sidebar
I just want a normal-looking, unbranded folder in my Finder Sidebar.
The current Finder Sidebar shows a rather ugly eye-sore of a logo in place of a plain folder icon, with no way to disable this customization so it pollutes every Finder window. I've tried pasting a new folder icon onto the Box Sync folder in the "Get Info" dialog box as is customary on MacOS for ALL other applications, but Box doesn't respect that icon (or the user's wishes).
