Option to enforce transfer limit for FTP uploads
Our users upload millions of files with FTP and it's putting a strain on our DLP server.
We would like to enforce a size limit on transfer to eliminate some of the stress we're seeing.
Box says "We recommend that no more than 150,000 files or 250GB of total data should be included in each FTP batch" but that doesn't seem to be a hard cap.

Workflow follow-up for non-assigned users
Managers should be able to monitor running workflows of their team. It could be a new role set at the template or instance level

Automate last step
When destination folders of the last step are set in the workflow template, there should be an option to automate the processing of the task. In fact, many times the assignee of the task has nothing to do that just confirm the destination folder

Sync Mac finder tags between users
Box Sync doesn't sync Mac Finder tags. Box Drive doesn't support Mac Finder tag at all. Could be worth to better expose Box tagging into Box Drive

This behaviour occurs if the enterprise has auto-roll in enabled.

Enable remote uploads with Box API
Allow remote uploads with our upload API. OneDrive and Dropbox allow this method.

Being able to upload files directly from external services will avoid deduplication of files.

Error handling for session timeout
When a users session ends and they attempt to upload a file using the drag and drop feature they are receiving a generic error message when they really just need to login.
This is giving end users the impression they have done something wrong or Box is not working correctly

Geotag files (w/ metadata or tags) based on where they're created.
Tagging this information would allow users to search for files based on the location in which they created it. (use case: exec's that know they were in X place when they made X file)
2 votesThis is super interesting! We’ve heard more about geo-tags on data storage rather than data creation. This isn’t a priority for now, but we’ll keep an eye on this suggestion.

Ability to upload hundreds or thousands large files at once
Since this is understandable behaviour, it would be great if the app could tell the user to limit the amount of documents.
