  3. Add a safe guard/warning for items deleted in local Box Sync folder noting they will also be removed from the Web App

    Currently dragging items out or deleting them from the Box Sync folder removes them in the cloud. To my knowledge, there is a warning window when deleting collaborated content, but none for personal content. Please add this.

  5. Notification about Update of File

    If you share a link to a file or folder, is there a way for recipients on that file to be notified that the file has been updated or in the case of a folder that another file has been added?

    For example, when they receive the link, could there be a message that says, if you'd like to get updated about this file/folder enter your e-mail. Then Box has a way of sending them the updates.

  6. Outlook Upload and Attach

    When you use the Box Upload and Attach Add-In within Outlook, the Access Level defaults to People in this folder.

    Can this be configured to match the permissions within the company, rather than a blanket default?

  11. Determine who made changes in Box Note

    Currently, users are able to identify where are the changes by highlighting the sentences. We would like to see who made the changes.

  12. User activity report - for file move/ copy event, display full path to show where the files are originated from

    For file move/ copy activity on User Activity report. "Detail" tab would show the name of the parent folder on where the file is from. "Parent Folder" tab would show the full path of destination.

    If parent folder could also display in full path, intuitively it is easier for the admin to understand where the files are moved from and to.

  15. Device Trust separate desktop and 3rd party apps

    We're trying to limit Box to managed devices. We enable DT on webapp, deploy Box for EMM, but when we try to open/edit a file in iOS Office, DT considers it a 3rd party app and blocks it.

    Decoupling the two would leave the desired state of blocking webapp on unmanaged devices, controlling mobile through EMM, but also allowing editing in apps as desired on that managed device.

  16. Add API for CORS Domains

    With the introduction of the UI Elements, managing CORS domains has been really important for developers who create third party apps that are then used across many domains owned by their customers. This gets unwieldy to manage manually.

  17. Add ‘Number of Versions’ Search Filter

    Add a new “Number of Versions” filter to the Search page in Box that allows you to filter by number of versions a file has. For example, “Only show me files with the word ‘cloud’ that have less than 10 versions”.

  19. Return collaborated files (single file collab SFC) under a folder via API

    Currently, there are two API calls surrounding getting a list of collaborations:
    https://developer.box.com/v2.0/reference#view-a-folders-collaborations
    https://developer.box.com/v2.0/reference#get-file-collaborations

    However, say a collaborated file exists under a non-collaborated/private folder. Now say the folder is large. It would be less easy to get a list of collaborated files under this folder without iterating through every single file.
