Invite Collaborators Pop-Up: Add Optional 'Automatically Remove Collaborator on X Date' Field
Right now, auto-expiration for collaborators is only provided as an option from within the Admin Console.
REQUEST: Add a 'automatically remove this/these collaborator(s) on X date' checkbox to the Invite Collabs Pop-Up, with the default being to have it unchecked, of course.
We have API endpoints already to add an expiration to an individual collaboration (https://docs.box.com/v2.0/reference#edit-a-collaboration), meaning admins can do this on our own via API. We would like the same type of option/functionality natively in the webapp UI as well.
3 votesThank you for the detailed explanation! This is not planned for the short-term roadmap. We will reconsider with additional customer demand.

This is an interesting feature! However, it does not have enough demand or impact in order to be prioritized. We will reconsider with additional demand.

Admin determines fixed tags for accuracy
Give the admin the ability to create a "template" of tags to use so that end users have to follow a set model.

Ability to add attachments to Box Notes
As a collaborative editing tool, attaching related materials would be useful in many situations (today, we upload the attachments & link to them, but this presents access limitations & additional steps.)
This is essentially already allowed with the upload ability of image types, but given file level collaboration, having attachments would solve numerous issues our teams are starting to encounter.
3 votesThis is not a current focus area for the Box Notes roadmap. We are happy to reconsider with additional demand.

This is not on the roadmap for 2019, but is a great suggestion that we may look into in the future.

We understand this use case, however it is not a current priority for the team. We will let you know if anything changes.

Push Notifications for @Mentions
Box push notifications on iOS are very limited currently and only send the user a push notification when...
- There's a comment added to a file and they're the most recent uploader
- They've been added to a folder
The most logical other push notification to add would be for @mentions which, in theory, would increase overall adoption of comments as well.

Add progress bar for Box Drive auto update
When updating there is no update progress bar. Sometimes Box Drive does not restart and leaving users confused.

Manage external collaborators en masse.
Some Ricardo users have over 50 external collaborators on a single folder. They cannot find any facility to download a list of current collaborators or a way to change the permissions of multiple users en masse.

Web App Integration - Group Application Controls
We would like to be able to apply an integrated web application to groups of users as opposed to individual users.
3 votesNot planned for now but will keep on our radar.

Enable API apps for select users
Right now, we can disable published APIs for all users, or enable them - we'd like the ability to restrictively enable.
3 votesWe currently do not plan to selectively enable or disable access to the Box API for specific users within an enterprise.
-
See login activity reports
We would like to see each users login activity, including those who have never logged into Box.

Ability to preview multi-page image files (.tif, .mp4, .png, .jpg) on mobile.
Right now, only the first page appears and there's now way to view the rest of the file while on the app
