Deliver Email Notification with the title including the actual folder on upload.
Currently, people get email notification with the title including parent folders when uploading to multiple file even though people upload to child folder. The title makes them a bit confusion and lead to know them there is upload event on parent folder.

CAPTURE for a SurfacePro?
App for BOX members to download that will work the same way CAPTURE does for iPhone and iPad but on a SurfacePro? I need my inspectors to be able to quickly snap photos, videos or document scans and then upload and securely share them with Box on a SurfacePro. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

ID3 Tag Artwork Preview for MPEG .mpeg and all audio files supported in Box Content Preview feature
Currently .mpeg is not supported in Box Content Preview Feature --yet the app can show Artwork of an .mpeg audio files. That said feature is desirable, let's bring that functionality to the Box Content Preview. So while streaming a file, user can also see the Artwork contained in ID3 information on the file.

Mouseover details for Sharing panel
At least for the +X Groups, allow a mouse over to reveal the groups that make up the +X Groups list.
A bonus feature would be for the same function to show who are members of the groups listed in the Sharing Details pane

Wie so gibt es bei Box keine Möglichkeit alle Daten zu markieren zum Herrenunterladen?
Nach der europäischen Verordnung und dem Deutschen Recht sind Sie dazu verpflichtet ohne noch mehr Abkassieren zu müssen.
Sollten Sie diesen Butten nicht einführen werde ich Anwälte dafür beauftragen die Bürger der Bundesrepublik und der Europäischen Union das Recht bekommen!
Denn was Sie hier betreiben geht so überhaupt nicht und werde ich so nicht dulden.

Different Reference method to the Box location
I need to be able to refer to a Box Drive location independent of a drive letter - Six users. Five users have box configured to sync to c: The sixth user has to have the location on his D: drive, due to space limitations (and big "Box" size).
we need some way to refer to these files in some other more universal method (LIKE a UNC path... or \127.0.0.1\BOX\ or YOU NAME IT ) so that the SAME reference will work, whether someone's Box drive is on C: or D:

Allow for templates in the task section
Allow for a custom task templates to be created and saved so a team can complete multiple similar files with the same tasks vs. having to write new tasks every time.

Keep Cost Center Field populated when user invited as a Managed user
If creating an account and you have to send the user an Invite to come over as a managed user, the Cost Center field (If filled out) will not stay after the user accepts the invite. Forcing you to have to go back and re-add info you may have already included.
I would request that if the Cost Center field is populated on a user creation, that it remain after an invited user accepts their invite to stop double work.

Ability to move deleted trash items to org wide "Vault"
User some times delete trashed items by accident (instead of restoring them), asking Box Admins to raise support ticket to retrieve from the backup.
Also, some organizations have legal requirements or policies to retain files & folders indefinitely, yet want to hide from users when user have decided to deleted completely from their Trash.
This shall hide permanently deleted trashed items from the users, but allowing Box Admins to see/retain them and quickly restore accidentally deleted trashed items.

Box drive to support SAML-based authentication
We use Okta as a primary authentication method for Cloud-based applications like Box.
Would like to see Box Drive to support for either redirect to main iDP configured at box account or naively support SAML-based authentication.1 vote -
Add parameter to Activity report to search box for more than 1 year
Currently if you want to look at 5 years of data, you would have to set-up and run the activity report 5 times. Instead of running the report for each time frames, set the date range for the specified time then have the report engine look at the parameter to execute the 5 reports in the time-frame corresponding to each year and label files to indicate time-frames. This way BOX controls resources and the admin would not have to do this a multitude of time to get the report data.

SSO Required - API authorize endpoint behavior not consistent with Core Box
USAF is developing a custom iOS app on Box requiring USAF internal users to authenticate into the app via SSO. With "SSO Required" turned ON, the app redirects users to the Box login page and not the SSO login page on invoking the Box authorize API endpoint. This seems not to be consistent with the Core Box "SSO Required" flow

Add 'Only I Sign' Adobe Sign Feature
Add the 'Only I Sign' feature in Adobe Sign, where only they sign a document. Currently this only works if they download it from Box and then re-upload it into Adobe's workflow, but they want to keep all of their users working in Box only. They also have lots of documents that only need the signature of one person.

When emailing a BOX item to another user, many of our users like to also add themselves in the recipient list. Used to be that your own, personal email would populate within the drop-down, predictive list, and now it no longer seems to. More a quality of life change, but we've heard many times that users would like to see their own email populate in this list, again.

Link to searchable files on a website.
Want a public facing search function that can be deployed on websites with Box as the back end.
Use Case: I have several hundred newsletters in an archive in PDF format. I want a public facing link or window that the public can see without having to login into Box.
The Box embed widget gives me a window BUT is not a good user experience. They don't need to be dragging one cloud onto another or logging into box.
Box is great for storing and updating these files--but not for a public facing display.1 vote -

The support for large contents migration Snowball(AWS) type of migration should be supported by Box.
Snowball(AWS) type of migration should be supported by Box. Especially the customers who have tons of files/folders as TB/PB level has a hard time for content to move from Windows servers to Cloud systems like Box.
