Batch Email Notification for Policy Violation
If an admin uploads a folder of 10 documents to Box and each violates an upload policy, the end user will receive 10 email notifications. Our admin has asked that we batch these emails together if the violation happens within a certain time period.
0 votesThank you for the suggestion! At the moment there is no plan to update notifications. We may look into this in the future.

Allow group admins the ability to invite lite users as managed
We use the group admin functionality to allow project teams to manage their Box access. They have hundreds of projects at a time so it is not feasible for the Box global admins to manage this onboarding/offboarding (which occurs on a weekly basis). Group admins have the ability to create new users as a managed user but can not invite existing lite users, which places a bottleneck on IT to invite these users in. Alternatively error messaging around this could be updated to specify why the users can't be added (currently it is not clear).
0 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. However, we would like more information and details from the requester on whether or not having the ability to invite external users to groups could solve this problem.

Edit User - Add 'Device Name' and 'Device ID' to Installed Applications Section
The 'Installed Applications' section when editing a user on the Managed Users page currently only shows Application Type (e.g., iPhone) and Install Time.
This is problematic when a user has multiple devices (e.g., two entries for iPhone or 2 entries for Sync due to being logged in on more than one device).
Box already tracks Device Name and Device ID in the export of Usage Logs for 'Add Device Association', so Box should also expose this information on the Managed Users page.
REQUEST: Add 'Device Name' and/or 'Device ID' column to 'Installed Applications' section when editing a user on the…

Lucidchart Enhanced Two-Way Integration
The current Box + Lucidchart integration is based on the 'More Actions' menu in the Box webapp.
REQUEST: Work with Lucidchart to extend this integration to a true two-way integration (similar/exactly the same as what Lucidchart already has with Google Drive - https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/google-apps), allowing the user to save to Box from Lucidchart and more.
0 votesPlease reach out to Lucidchart directly to get this integration request prioritized.

User statistics to include users with zero activity
User statistic reports only return users who have an action against the names, rather than reporting all users as it previously did
Expected Behavior:User statistic report should return all users in the box account rather than just those with actions. This is so that the client can target users who have not logged into box

BCC Email Archive to be set at the user / group level to avoid having to capture a ton of emails for people that don't need to be monitored
Allows for greater granularity

Pass Basic Auth (Authorization Header) to Client Callback URL & Preliminary Callback URL when Both are Present
Using an API-based web app integration, from the "More" menu in the web app, if developer requires basic auth to complete the request, authorization header is only passed to the Preliminary Callback URL and never the Client Callback URL - even if Client Callback is the only URL present.
Expected Behavior:
Allowing the developer to choose whether basic auth is required would imply that we would always pass the Authorization header with our requests so they can validate.0 votes -
Ping Federate connector to automatically sign people out of all apps when deprovisioning
Use the API call "Update User" to force a user to change password (and in doing so, log them out of all applications) when deprovisioning a user using outbound provisioning. This isn't necessary if users are being deprovisioned to "Deleted" or "Inactive" status, but if they are being set to "Cannot Delete, Edit & Upload", then the user will still have access to Box via Sync/Mobile clients
0 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the future roadmap. We are currently focused on improving our user interface and key flows of user management before we add enhancements to the de-provisioning process.

Modifications to Folder Name/Description in Event Stream
We are concerned that Editors can change the name or description of folders. Therefore, we are asking for an event in the stream to notify when this occurs so we can revert the changes back to historical values.

Mobile browser support on Device Trust
When Device Trust is turned on, all access from mobile browsers are blocked. There is a large number of mobile users (iPads) that need to access Box through a mobile browse as there are certain functionality that not available through the Box mobile application.
The most important things for us that iPad users may need through the browser that they can't do through the apps are the following (and this is important because most of our sales force ONLY have iPads and not PCs, leaving them no other way to perform these tasks, except potentially using VDI on their iPads).…

Re-Add Owner / Co-Owner Labels to the File List in Amsterdam
The Legacy UI had Owner and Co-Owner 'labels' that were shown in the file list next to the folder name. This made it easy for end users and admins (using Instant Log-In from the Admin Console) to see - at a glance without having to select individual folders - which folders a given end user either owned or was co-owner of.
These labels were removed from the new UI, making it much harder to identify owned folders (as both owned and not-owned collaborated folders are blue).
REQUEST: Re-add the 'Owner' and 'Co-Owner' labels to the file list in the new…

Team Leads - Allow Reporting
The file Access Stats feature has been requested to be exportable for all records. Similar to this Q.
A user requested to have access to self-run a filtered view of the Admin-Collaborations report to quickly see the status of all his collaborators (he deals with numerous external users and needs to know who to re-prompt.)
We would like this outside of the Admin/Co-Admin being able to do it.
0 votesWe will still require admins/co-admins to grant access to reports such as this. However, we are looking into which controls and reporting might require additional self-serve enablement options.
