Keep Company Branding Banner with new Box Web Experience and Collections
One of the reasons I really like Box (enterprise version), was that my users felt like we were using a 'custom to our firm' cloud-product. The beta version of your new Box Web Experience and Collections removes the company branded banner across the top; instead leaving only our logo placed next to my profile picture in the corner. When users delete folders, we want not only the folders but also the files within to be shown in Trash.
When users delete folders, we want not only the folders but also the files within to be shown in Trash. Here is the behavior we noticed: a. We enable "Restrict content creation" in Enterprise Settings. b. User who is not the owner of the folder deletes files. -> The files will be shown in Trash. c. The same user deletes the folder which the files above existed in. d. Dashboard for end users
Create an end-user accessible dashboard where users can see the status of their content and shared links. For example, they can see a running list of their shared links and be able to un-share these links via the dashboard; see a running list of externally shared content with external collaborators to see if they still need to be shared externally. In addition, the dashboard should include a high-level overview of these shared folders/files so they user can classify content from one place instead of by individual files/folders. File Request Action in Box Relay
A file request action on Folder in Relay that could automate generation of the File Request link and email it to a specified email address. Supporting automation of uploads from individuals without Box accounts.
9 votesAn integration between File Request and Relay was delivered this year. At the moment this programmatic generation of a link can be achieved with an API. An outcome type in Relay to generate a FR link is not yet planned.

Include timestamp (start and end) of an activity on report
User wants to know the start and end times when moving files within Box. Since there is no way other than leaving a record of the user starting the process on report, we would like you to add this record for the user activity report.

Admin Console - User File Search - Results Download
Admin Console - Content - User File Search - Results Download enhancement
Allow administrators the ability to download the full user file search from Admin Console -> Content section. The results output would contain all fields present on the current search results page. The output would be in CSV format.
This feature would be useful for eDiscovery purposes.

SSO Federation Page in Box
Some customers with different divisions want to authenticate through multiple IDP/AD's - We address this by redirecting app.box.com to an internally (customers app server) hosted page which has a redirect button for each business division user to click to be taken to the appropriate IDP for authentication. I'd like to see a redirect page in the SSO configuration where we can configure this routing for each business division. Rather than have to host this outside of Box.

Ability to disable task
Ability to disable task if “disable commenting for this folder’is enabled on folder settings.

Allow selecting multiple folders in Folders & Files Report, instead of one folder
When reports are required for tens or hundreds of separate folders, it'd be unrealistic to run reports one by one separately.

Metadata search activity report and tagging notifications
Is there a way to report out on metadata search activities? We'd like to get analytics on our team activities with metadata searches and the frequencies. We'd also like to set-up email notifications notifying admin users when a file has been tagged.

Box for Outlook BVE support
Request to support Box for Outlook for BVE customers.
Right now Box for Outlook does not support Box Verified enterprises, and completely blocks them out if you block app.box.com.

symlink support
Would be most excellent to add support for symbolic links in uploads 🙏
Motivation
We archive and share private pre-releases of iOS frameworks on Box. These frameworks inherently contain symbolic links. So when they're downloaded, the symbolic link pointing to the true header directory is borked and Xcode is unable to compile the given framework.On the plus side, lack of this support is good incentive for us to move to a better distribution system for these frameworks.

Choose location for files marked for offline
Similar to Box Sync, would love to be able to choose a specific location for files marked for offline use in Box Drive. At least we could see the thumbnail previews.

Archive folders
Ability to manually or automatically archive folders that have not been modified for a while. The Archived files are searchable, but don't appear in normal file system (similar to how Gmail's archived emails don't show up in Inbox, but can be searched)

Ability to sync individual files,
The ability to sync an individual file would be very useful. I often just need a few files if i'm on a flight for example and don't need the whole folder. Copying into a new folder just to sync an individual file is not a great solution.

Request for Supporting HTML tags for File Request.
Currently, there is no way to add HTML tags(i.e line break) into the title and instructions for “Customer’s Option” in the File Request
due to the explicitly prevented for security concerns. Since we cannot use line break for instructions, it is hard to read if the customer enter long sentence for the instructions.9 votes
