First search with detaled contents filters
Currently the initial search for Box items can be filtered by only three types of contents, then you can squeeze the first search results with more detailed filters, like tags or size etc.
It would be better to be able to use those detailed filters from the beginning.9 votes -
Box Drive Bandwidth Usage - Can I pause or limit?
"Every time my Box Drive is syncing large (200-500mb) files, it uses as much bandwidth as it can. While in the office, this was rarely an issue. But, working from home, the rest of my household notices very slow internet while I am syncing files. "
Please add a feature that allows us to limit the bandwidth of Box Drive.

Enhance the Box for DocuSign Integration in terms of metadata
We would like to put some information of DocuSign Envelope (such as contract data, term of contract, type of contract etc.) into Box metadata instance in an automated way. Currently, there's two ways users would be able to do are; 1. users manually populate metadata such as transaction amount in signed document or 2. using iPaaS (Workato) to automate populating metadata. No.1 is inefficient and time-consuming and has human-error risk. No.2 requires additional cost. This is actually required by Japanese local law when we save financial documents digitally. Metadata visibility in user activity report
when we make changes to "fill in the blank" metadata fields, we would like to be able to see the 'before and after' what was entered within a user activity report or other type of report.

finder tag
I use tags very often in my work to keep track of certain documents and where they are in the process. It is very frustrating to me that I cannot tag documents in Box Drive and have them come up in my sidebar on Finder. Is there a solution to this? Is this a feature that will be added soon? If it is not in the cards for Box Drive, I will have to migrate to Dropbox, which does support this feature for Finder Tags.

Opening multiple files at once
It would greatly improve flow and user experience to be able to open multiple PDFs at once. Our team must review numerous individual PDFs, and we have only ever been able to open one PDF at a time. It becomes a tedious task to open each individual PDF.

Add a reminder function to box notes
Add the ability to set a reminder either push through the app or an email. For example I keep a to do list in notes or there are reports I need to update weekly. If I had a reminder then I could go back to the note and complete whatever I needed.

Custom Subdomain on Upload API Endpoint
When a Box instance is setup to use a custom subdomain, the upload API endpoint should use the subdomain. For example, acme.upload.app.box.com instead of upload.app.box.com. This will make it easy to setup corporate firewall rules that prevent users from uploading content into personal Box accounts

Decrease the line space between each files on the New UI
Hi team ,
I received a feedback from a client that the new UI made the line spacing bigger and would like to make the line space to decrease to before so that they can see more files in one screen.
Can you please consider this or be able to have option to change the line space?

9 votesThanks for the feedback. We have made this change in order to make it easier for users to read and scan their file lists. While other users have made similar comments when they first saw the change, many of them have also told us they adapted to the change and prefer the new design.

Provide a FUSE (Filesystem in userspace) handler for Box Linux and other *nix support
Linux, and other operating systems, have a mechanism for vendors to provide transparent filesystem access to esoteric file storage mechanisms in userspace, without the need to write a kernel module using "FUSE" (Filesystem in Userspace).
Box would only need to write a FUSE handler, and then that'd open up access to a lot of *nixes.

My Collections on Box for Outlook App
I’ve started to use the “Attach from Box” Outlook Addin O365 button, for attaching my documents in email. I’d like to suggest if you are able to see your collections list, to browse from.
I have so much ‘clutter’ at my All files level and thought, it would be great to see some sort of favourites/collection option.9 votes -
Keep Company Branding Banner with new Box Web Experience and Collections
One of the reasons I really like Box (enterprise version), was that my users felt like we were using a 'custom to our firm' cloud-product. The beta version of your new Box Web Experience and Collections removes the company branded banner across the top; instead leaving only our logo placed next to my profile picture in the corner. When users delete folders, we want not only the folders but also the files within to be shown in Trash. Here is the behavior we noticed: a. We enable "Restrict content creation" in Enterprise Settings. b. User who is not the owner of the folder deletes files. -> The files will be shown in Trash. c. Dashboard for end users
Create an end-user accessible dashboard where users can see the status of their content and shared links. For example, they can see a running list of their shared links and be able to un-share these links via the dashboard; see a running list of externally shared content with external collaborators to see if they still need to be shared externally. File Request Action in Box Relay
A file request action on Folder in Relay that could automate generation of the File Request link and email it to a specified email address. Supporting automation of uploads from individuals without Box accounts.
9 votesAn integration between File Request and Relay was delivered this year. At the moment this programmatic generation of a link can be achieved with an API. An outcome type in Relay to generate a FR link is not yet planned.

Include timestamp (start and end) of an activity on report
User wants to know the start and end times when moving files within Box. Since there is no way other than leaving a record of the user starting the process on report, we would like you to add this record for the user activity report.

Admin Console - User File Search - Results Download
Admin Console - Content - User File Search - Results Download enhancement
Allow administrators the ability to download the full user file search from Admin Console -> Content section. The results output would contain all fields present on the current search results page. The output would be in CSV format.
This feature would be useful for eDiscovery purposes.

Support Emojis in file names
Box currently does not support Emojis in filenames, which means it won't sync if I drag and drop a file from my desktop into Box Drive. It would be great if Box would support the same characters in file names as current OSes
