We would like to be able to open other file types (those not currently listed in the supported file types) as text files, so we don't have to download those files. We'd prefer not to have to download the files just to view them.

Box.com - When sharing folders with External collaborators, to have a copy of the email from Box with the message I added
Marked as optional, we should get a copy of the email that Box sent when using the "Message (optional)" option. I work with lawyers and law-related users that need proof of sending invites to external collaborators. There's no confirmation when you invite someone to collaborate to your folder, you only get an email once they accept the invite.

Co-Admin permission - Manage Shield Lists
It would be good to be able to delegate the update of Sheild lists so that someone can amend who is in a list without providing access to other shield functions.
For example, a list of people email addresses that can change because external parties that we collaborate change but we want to be able to remove/add people.

classification labeling time lag when item added to a folder with classification
When adding items to a folder with defined classification, there is a time lag (appx. 5 min) to reflect the classification to added items. (we know its 20min for 40K items but still we want to remove the time lag)
During the lag, a user can temporarily operate the items outside the policy defined on its classification.
This seems a critical defect in terms of its security, so please consider to fix the situation.

Moving from Box Drive now deletes instead of copies
When moving a file from Box Drive to another volume like your computer, it now removes the file from BOX altogether. Prior to the latest update to the platform, it used to make a copy by default.
We use BOX as a file server and this opens up the potential for accidental deletion. Making the source folders read-only doesn't work either because we have to be able to edit contents on BOX.
Can you provide the option in a setting or elsewhere to turn on forced copy by default when dragging files from BOX to another Volume?

Allow ownership of Relay workflow to groups
A customer has high turnover of admins for Relay workflows and requested an option where instead of transferring Relay to a new user or a service account that it be owned by a group for less overheard when an admin or owner of the Relay workflow leaves the company.

If we could draw on photo before sending captured photo to box, that would improve our ability to tag each photo with a specific location or title.
In other words not having to use a whiteboard in each photo tagging it with info for that inspection.2 votes -
Keyboard shortcut for copying links in Box Drive

Greater flexibility in watermarking configuration
Based on our documentation:
Rasterized watermarking only (default) - Provides increased security, but no resolution scaling, no searchability, no clickable links, a moderate file size overhead, and reduced usability. This watermark type can't be removed without damaging the underlying content.Customers that want to follow a higher level of security protocol when watermarking files currently have to choose which approach is more important at an EID level.
Watermarking configuration should have greater flexibility so that the choice of rasterized or vector based watermarking is done at either a folder level OR via the shield policy assignment OR both.
This provides customers the option to choose the more security oriented approach or performance based approach depending on the needs.
If this is a moot point because vector has been enhanced to avoid security issues associated with it, then we need to update our documentation and educate our customers of that fact

Modifying Relay AllowList that includes deleted users
If a user previously set in the Relay AllowList is deleted, the deleted user will remain in the list and the error "The specified login is inactive or invalid" happened when I try to save the list.
Even if I click "Save" without editing anything, same error occurs. It is not possible to export the user s of Relay AllowList, and there is no choice but to check each account one by one and deal with it, so I request improvement.

The Sharing Sidebar Needs an update
The current Sidebar shows only 5 users who this folder has been shared with.
As we are moving so fast throughout our day, we have to click on the option below to look for the other people it is being shared with.Having the ability to scroll on the side of the existing 5 users it's shared with and all the others will exponentially help to find and manoeuvring through the folder.
Once you click on it and come back you have forgotten who had exactly what access, hoping this will help a lot of users, and currently the whole page is not being used to display more users who have access on the side. Please let's make it scrolling DIV with all the users right there and if users need more info click below.
Thank You

Create and add Team Collections via Box Security Group
We need the ability to create "Team Collections", essentially replicating the function of a Team Drive and provide this shortcut to Users on specific Teams. Given the nature of how Box files/folders are owned by a single User, it makes the function of a Team Drive almost impossible. I think of this as a Mapped Shared Drive in a File server.
If it were possible to assign Team Collections via Box Security Group, I would be able to provision these Team Collections by an AD Attribute or AD SecGroup, via IdP Rule which maps to a Box Security Group. These Team Collections would appear in the shortcut window/bar on the left hand side and would also appear as a "Folder/Drive" when searching the Folder Tree.
I would love to Beta Test this!!!!

Make an app for Windows like Dropbox for S
My employer blocks the installation of software like Dropbox and Box, but I use them for everyday work. There's a Dropbox for S app -- can Box release a similar Windows app? I believe there might've been one but it's been discontinued.

Ability to recognize shared links with passwords
I would like to see the icon change to show whether the shared link has a password or not, so that I can easily tell from the file list whether the link has a password or not.

I want to switch pages by swiping pdf or powerpoint on iPad even when in the middle of filling in annotations.
Sometimes I want to see the other page of pdf when I am in the middle of filling in annotation. However, the current behavior of Box's annotation, you need to save the annotation to move to the other page of pdf or powerpoint.
