Feature to Search Including Past Versions with Box AI
Box AI for Document can only provide answers from the latest version of the stored content.
For example, if someone other than yourself updates a document you created the previous day, you would need to manually open each version of the file and visually check for changes, which is time-consuming and may lead to missing unnoticed changes. It would be convenient if Box AI could extract only the sections with changes by comparing with past versions.We would like to see an enhancement in the AI's capabilities to retrieve data from past histories and provide answers.
In that case, it would be user-friendly if users could switch between including past data or considering only the latest data when asking questions to Box AI.【Box AIで過去バージョンを含めて検索できる機能】

Allow Forms driven dynamic destination folder in Relay Folder Action
In Box Relay, the Folder Create outcome requires selecting a fixed destination folder. While Forms data can be used for folder naming, it cannot be used to dynamically set the parent folder (for example, from a submitted Folder ID field).
Allow Relay to set “Where should the folder be created?” using a variable/token from trigger data (e.g., Box Forms field), including support for folder ID and optionally folder path.
This limitation forces teams to build custom middleware/services just to translate form input into folder creation logic. Native support would remove extra engineering overhead and enable fully no-code workflows for common intake scenarios.
Example use case -
Form field: ParentFolderId
Form field: NewFolderName
Relay action: Create folder where parent = ParentFolderId, name = NewFolderName

Pause upload/download on Box Drive
PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. I cannot describe how much this is important to me. I work on several projects that use many files simultaneously. Some of these files are large. Being unable to pause an upload/sync makes my workflow so incredibly slower.
Current life: I make some edit to a large file, my entire workflow is interrupted as said large file needs to be entirely uploaded before I can retrieve literally anything else from Box. This last part is not even Box's problem, but I have a pretty decent computer and slows down significantly during large uploads, which affects the rest of my work too. Even writing this request was a little slow.
Now, IMAGINE this wonderful little scenario: I click on the Box icon. I hit pause sync or whatever you may want to call it. I do whatever edit I want. Then, at the end of the workday, I hit resume sync.
Now IMAGINE this even better scenario for someone like me: oops, I forgot to hit the pause button before I started working. NO PROBLEM! I can pause/cancel this particular upload as it is happening.

Box Extract needs to be limited to run against x number of pages, not all pages.
Box Extract needs to be limited to run against x number of pages, not all pages. Customers often want to just use box extract to load documents and skip the indexing. These documents can be large, 100 pages, 500 pages, etc, but the indexing information may be only on the first 3 pages that is required. This request is to incorporate a way to limit how many pages box extract runs against per folder, or per metadata set, per Extract Agent. The key is when I upload a 1000 page document, I don't want that to eat up 1000 AI units, or 3000 AI units depending, when I need it to use less than 3-9 ai units.

Log in as “AutomationUser” from the new UI Content Manager
Content: Currently, it is possible to log in as a proxy via the Content Manager of the old UI, but it is not possible to log in as a proxy on the new UI.
If the user is a managed user, you can log in as a proxy from the "Users and Groups" screen, but since AutomationUser is not displayed on the "Users and Groups" screen, you will need to log in as a proxy from Content Manager.

We want to make it easier to change the owner of a workflow in Box Relay.
In Japan, organizational changes and personnel transfers occur frequently, which necessitates changing the owner of workflows in Box Relay.
Currently, to change the owner, users have to transfer the workflow to another user and disable the original workflow.This process is not intuitive and is cumbersome for users. Additionally, there are too many steps involved. As a result, even though Relay is a good feature, it feels difficult to use and does not gain user adoption.
We would like to see improvements that allow for a one-click transfer of ownership.
For example, adding an option to change the owner in the same menu as "Transfer to User" for each workflow, where users can simply input the name of the new owner to make the change.(In Japanese)

Suggested Prompts with Custom Agent in the Box App for iOS and Android
Currently the AI feature of the Box App for iOS and Android does not include customized suggested prompts with custom agents. I would like to have suggested prompts available on custom agents in the Box App. We've created several custom agents with unique suggested prompts. Without access to these prompts in the Box App, it limits its usefulness to us, or at least requires more effort from the end-user to retrieve what they need.

Notify Owners and Co-Owner on colaborators expiry
It seems that today only the colaborators are infomed prior to colaborator expiry. From my poinbt of view it would be important, that both Owners and Co-Owners receive the expiry information too. I our setup Box system users own all level 0 shared folders, so Co-Owners would be required to receive the notifications as well.

We want the Box administrator to be able to confirm when an IP address is blocked from communicating.
Box has a function to increase security by restricting the IP addresses accessing the system. When using this function, it is necessary to register the addresses to be used in the permission list when there is a system that wants to cooperate with Box.
However, there are cases where it is not possible to confirm the IP addresses used with each system vendor.
Therefore, currently, we block communication once and ask Box to confirm the information by contacting the company.
This operation requires support from Box and is inconvenient for us because it takes time to add the IP address to the allowed list.
We would like to see the IP addresses blocked by the IP address restriction function displayed in the activity report.

Taxonomy Lists in Box Forms
We create many Box Forms with the same dropdown lists. In our case one is the list of the properties we own/manage.
Having the ability to duplicate forms would be very helpful, but for us it would be even more helpful to create a Taxonomy list for forms so that it would be easy to add the dropdown to a form. It would also allow the dropdowns to be consistent, accurate and easy to change on all forms at once.

Change the Box Tools implementation to Native Messaging Hosts
Due to changes in Chromium’s security policy, communication with localhost is no longer trusted.
At present, the only secure way to enable communication between the web and a local environment is through Native Messaging Hosts.Using Native Messaging Hosts also eliminates the need for a constantly running background process, which helps reduce potential issues and improves stability.
For example, Dropbox adopted this approach several years ago.We strongly recommend that Box also migrate Box Tools to Native Messaging Hosts.

Hubs open documents in new tab
When opening a document in Box Hubs, the browser window is fully taken over by the document, and it's not currently possible to use standard browser actions like Ctrl+Click, middle mouse click, or right-click > "Open in New Tab." This limitation significantly hinders the ability to efficiently review multiple documents at once and makes side-by-side comparisons impossible. It would greatly improve productivity if Box Hubs allowed documents to be opened in new tabs. Please consider updating this feature.
