Keep third party's login token or credentials when logging out from Box Drive
Users need to log in to a web gateway before logging in to Box Drive.
If they log out, they need to login to the gateway again.
In WebApp, they don’t need to re-login the gateway after logging out from Box.
Therefore, Box should have any way to prevent this.

See a longer duration for the pop-up that appears at the top of the screen when moving or copying is performed.
We would like to see a longer duration for the pop-up that appears at the top of the screen when you move or copy.
It would be great if it could be set up on a per-tenant basis if possible.If we accidentally manipulate it, we'll get flustered.

Shared link - colour code the link icon to advise who it is shared with Public, invited only etc
Currently if a file or folder has shared link enabled it, it places a blue symbol between the file name and last updated date. You have 2 options to see what the shared link is enabled as either by clicking onto the link symbol and it shows the properties of the enabled link or highlighting the folder/file and looking at details on the right hand side.
It would be better if the symbol was perhaps a different colour to show it was the different status e.g blue -invited only - green - people in your company - red -public
or if you hoovered over the link instead of just say copy shared link it states what the share setting is.
I think the colour option is better as it advises you straight away without having to do anything

Need to send message with collaborator invite by using java SDK or any rest point
We have to automate the process where I need a code to send an optional message along with a collaborator invite. With Box Ui we can send optional message along with collaborator invite but I didn't find any method in BOX SDK .

Customize Collaborator Permission Levels
Any chance that we can have some flexibility in the "Collaborator Permission Levels." Can we develop a tool to edit these levels, like check which function the user can have. Having set levels with no flexibility is difficult because every user needs different access.

brandfolder alternative - publish large files from creative team without involving a web developer to update the page
Brandfolder helps your brand easily give access to journalists wanting to write about your brand, a good example https://brandfolder.com/finisswim. On the front page of their website https://www.finisswim.com/ it shows a brandfolder icon to direct them to this link.
I want box to be able to make a folder public and let journalists have access to all the files we put in this folder. Box has this functionality - it's just not so elegant.
1) it doesn't display just the photos in GRID view. It shows the filenames, when it was uploaded, and my graphic designer's name, and the file size. All info that doesn't need to be there - we want to show the full graphic instead of some chopped version of the photo that currently displays.
2) the detail info on the right is not necessary - we just want to show pretty pictures and if they click on the pictures, it can be downloaded.

Shared Link options via Outlook.
We want to be able to select Shared Link options via Outlook.
For example, the default setting of [Shared Link] is “People in ***(company name)”.
Other Shared Link options (Ex: People with the link) cannot be selected, when users “Attach from Box” via Outlook.It would be more convenient for users if they can change Shared Link options via Outlook (without opening Box Web App).

Meta Data
Two Recommendations;
1) When a file or folder has metadata applied, having a ICON on record (similar to a shared link or description) be visible.. Currently you don't know UNLESS you select the item and do to details to see if template has been applied.2) When metadata is applied, showing the metadata values when you select the record similar go to Details would be be great.

Show classification of files in Box Drive
We use Classifications to indicate restrictions on who a file can be shared with, e.g. confidential information supplied by third party that cannot be shared with other parties involved in a project. While classification is displayed within Box, there is no indication of the restriction if the file is accessed through Box Drive which could lead to unauthorized disclosure.

Add warning/prompt when moving your files to shared directory
It is possible to lose ownership of your own files by inadvertently moving them to a folder owned by a collaborator. This issue can be prevented by adding a warning or prompt before moving the file if the ownership of the file will be affected by the move.

New folder name field not on by default
When you create a new folder the text box for the name field is not enabled by default, it used to be, now you have to click into it to begin typing. A minor thing but definitely a convenience.

I am trying to include external collaborators that have an email from my company, but Box counts the as internal users. How can I avoid this problem?

Remove large batch of collaborators from a shared folder.
It would be ideal if you could remove a large batch of collaborators from a shared folder en mass instead of one at a time.

I want the new Collections to all stay open, unless I close them
I don't want the other Collections to automatically toggle closed on the sidebar when I choose another one. I want the choice to close it.

Please support .vbs files in Box’s file Preview on the desktop web and mobile web. The content is supported but the preview of it is not

Organize feed by chronological updates
Now that the Updates tab doesn't let you go back further than 24 hours, you should be able to check the "Feed" and see all previews/downloads/etc going back in time. Right now it's all organized in a seemingly random fashion and it's unhelpful

thunderbird file link integration support
i miss support of box in thunderbird so i can use box as file link provider in thunderbird, imho this have worked in older version of thunderbird but it does not now in latest thunderbird

Clearly Differentiate Options on "Share this Folder" Screen
On the "Share this Folder" window, I would LOVE for that incredibly thin horizontal dividing line to be thicker/darker. Alternatively, any intuitive page design change that would better differentiate the "INVITE PEOPLE" option from the "SHARE LINK" option would be wonderful! I do a lot of initial handholding for our new managed users with respect to sharing content.
