1. [android] mutiple directory sync

   Hello,
   in mobile app , can we have option to have multiple from-to pairs of folder to sync instead only one?
   Eg. I'd like to have sync from/to mobile
   - documents,
   - photos
   - music
   - exported data from app 1
   - backup from app 2
   - etc
   all of those are in different places on mobile device and they will go to different places on box.

   If you want, can you check nextcloud android app (auto upload section) for inspiration.

2. Ability to login as a Co-Admin to users' accounts

   Would like the ability to login as a Co-Admin to users’ accounts, even if those users still have not reset their password, without getting prompted to reset the password for that user. The Primary Admin does not get prompted to reset users’ passwords upon instant login, even if the end user is still required to reset their own password.

4. Add native search functionality to CSV or text files from within the web app

   The Box web app does not currently have native search functionality for CSV or text files. The browser find bar fails because the system hides information that's not visible.

   Can this functionality be added so that I'm not forced to re-download files to simply search them?

5. Fix iOS Microsoft Office Security - No Pin Required

   If you have Box Mobile App installed and a Pin is enforced, your data is protected by pin every time you launch the app. If you install iOS Excel or Word and then sign into the application/authorize, anytime you launch word or Excel you are not prompted to sign in again and there is no passcode enforced on either of those apps. They have full access to all documents in your Box account. Box Device Trust and EMM will not enforce or protect this either and is easily bypassed since this is an Application Integration, you don't even need Box Mobile installed for the integration.

   The only work around is to disable the Office Mobile Integration in the Admin console and instead force the "open with Excel/Word" option from with the Box Mobile App. This however is not perfect since you cannot create any new documents or spreadsheets. You can only duplicate an existing one and rename it since Box App doesn't support creation of new content in Word/Excel from the Box Mobile app.

   Box cannot enforce pin codes on third-party apps.

6. Ability to block external invitations for collaboration

   We don't want users accepting any external invites to external company shares but we want them to be able to share folders with any company. Basically, we only ever want to be the folder owner.

   We have a rule that only we can create the folders and share them out but this sometimes is accidentally overlooked. In addition, Box does not have an option to "block outside collaborator invitations" only an option to completely turn off inbound/outbound sharing or white list domains.

7. API to sync folders for users.

   If we could sync folders directly through our internal web app it would cut several steps out of user workflows. I would love to put a sync slider next to the job line so they could sync directly from this screen.

   Specifically, I am talking about leveraging the tools via APIs. So having an API we could leverage to sync folders down for users.

   This request cannot practically be implemented as an API. A client needs to control the state of local items on an endpoint such as a user’s computer, much like the Box Drive or Box Mobile clients do today. The only planned supported means for such synchronization capabilities are the Box Drive and Mobile clients.

8. Icon or Warning Message to display when MFO using Box Drive would be helpful to collaborators

   Is there a way for an icon or warning message to display when users mark a folder for offline use or when a file is marked for offline use? This would really help since multiple people might be viewing and editing the same file and if someone is already working on it offline, then we wouldn’t want to make changes and override it.

10. I want to organize my information in a boxnote with a header and sub-headers

    In addition to the formatting of a boxnote I would like to organize my note by header and sub header. With the keyboard shortcut being ctrl-shift-1, ctrl-shift-2, etc.

13. Remove the Sync icons in Webapp after uninstalling Box Sync

    After transitioning from Box Sync to Box Drive (and uninstalling Sync), the “Marked for Sync” icons on the webapp should be removed to avoid user confusion on how syncing works with Box Drive.

14. View is broken after binning multiple items - needs to force a refresh?

    I hit a bug:

    I had 33 files in a folder. (There are 20 per page). I selected the first 20 (one page of files) and clicked Bin to move them to the bin.

    The files went to the bin and once the process completed, the view showed "There are no items in this folder."

    ...but there are - there are still 13 files in the folder!

    Hitting F5 to refresh didn't fix this.
    Hitting "Next Page" took me to a "There are no items in this folder" page with no page navigation buttons. (I guessing this is because it moves me to a page 2, which now should now not exist, as the 13 remaining items are all on page 1).

    Similar issues occur if I select just, say, 19 out of 20 on a page - I end up with a view of one file.

    I noticed the URL ends with "?page=2" - I deleted this parameter from the URL and hit Enter. This reset the page view correctly and I could see my files again. But I shouldn't have to do that.

    We will not be supporting additional EMM features for Android Device Admin; moving forward, we are supporting EMM feature requests on Android Enterprise.

    APK/Device Admin was announced as deprecated in 2017, and deprecated in last year’s update (P), and this year’s Android update (Q) no longer supports APK/Device Admin at all. From Google: “Starting with Android 9 (API level 28), some admin policies will be marked as deprecated when invoked by a device admin. We recommend you start to prepare now for this change. 19. “Fit to window” on preview page

    When I preview a presentation or some document that is oriented landscape or is just wide, the document is cut off on the right-hand side by the activity stream window and menu system. Preview should always “fit to window” so I can see the whole document.
