syncing new items in folder
When a new item is added to a synced folder, that item should automatically sync to the desktop.
There are two people working in our folders, we have sync so when one makes changes the other gets them, but when one of us creates a new file/document, it does not appear anywhere but on the web, even though the master folder is synced.

Report on Metadata Cascade
There is currently no way to generate a report via the admin console that indicated if a metadata template is set to cascade. A folders and files report can show what metadata is applied, but the only way to know if it cascades it to navigate to the folder in the webapp, run API queries, or intuit it by inspecting sub-files/folders to if if the value cascaded.

Box Sign - Checkbox should allow multiple options & multi-select
The checkbox option should operate similarly to the radio button option, allowing the form editor to create multiple checkbox options at once. The only difference would be that the checkbox option would allow multi-select, while the radio button option offers only single-select.

Ability to export and import all settings in the tenant in JSON format, YAML format, etc
I would like to see a function that allows you to export and import all settings in the tenant in JSON format, YAML format, etc.
For example, when creating a sandbox environment with the same settings as the production environment, it is possible to modify only the environment-specific values on the export data and then import them, or it can be used as a backup of the tenant setting values themselves.

BoxAI should be able to copy entire chats not just responses
Right now there is only a "copy" button for BoxAI responses, but sometimes I need the question and answer because it is part of a back and for that is refined.

I would like enhanced notifications for public liniks
I would the ability to receive notifications for downloads of Shared links (that is, publicly accessible links, not requiring a login). Further, I would like the ability to demand an email address be entered before the download occurs. You can demand an email address on public upload request, and it would be great to be able to do the same for a download.

Reflect the content requested by Box AI in the details column of the user activity report
When using Box AI multiple times at the same time, the current report does not allow us to check the details of which request was made in the log.

Manage Folders and Files by Other Users
I recently noticed that, as an administrator/owner of The Animal League of Green Valley account, I cannot see folders and files deleted by other users.
This caused a serious problem when a user accidentally deleted a folder and then left for an extended leave.
I expected to be able to enter "Trash", see the folder and restore it; however, it was not visible to me.
Fortunately, we were able to contact the user who deleted the folder, and that person was able to restore it, but the situation could have been much worse, disastrous actually.

Drag and drop files or use file ID or folder ID
When you want to add single files or folders, it would be great to be able to add them simply using their IDs or dragging them from another Box window

Date and time functions will not work correctly in shared Excel file
When an external collaborator opens a shared link of an Excel file (with 'People with the link' option selected) without logging into box, date and time functions will not work correctly.

when uploading photos in the Box app, they are in wrong orientation
Since last update, when uploading pictures from the app, if the photo was taken in Landscape mode, it shows as vertical once uploaded. PLEASE take it back to like it was where no matter what orientation we took a picture, it would show up correctly in the files.

Link Box sign requests
The ability to link several Sign Requests as one. When scanning a form a user needs to authenticate that the scan is a true copy and there is no errors. if there is an error e.g. page ten was crumpled and not readable then it has to be rescanned. FDA demand all sign requests are kept. even ones that failed. today there is not way to link different sign requests

Users to oversee the File request used Folders
We would like to have users to be able to see which folders they have enabled file request as an list.
The image is to have a "File Request" tab in the Box menu on the left side.
Once you click that tab, it will show all the folders that the users have enabled file request so they can disable unnecessary link.3 votes
