Box for Salesforce - Add Option to Show the Sidebar in Content Explorer and Preview UI Elements
Currently, the Sidebar is not enabled for UI Elements in Box for Salesforce. This would provide a property to show or hide the sidebar on the Content Explorer and Preview UI Element components.

Box Apps in SalesForce
Requirement for Box Apps in the Salesforce embed experience. Use case: Bankers interact with Box via Salesforce & Drive; with a working use case of legal document management, we would require bankers to view apps dashboards via salesforce

This isn't on the immediate roadmap for the managed Box for Salesforce package as customers can customize the package and layer Box Apps on top of the out-of-the-box experience today. We'll continue evaluating native support as new use cases and customer demand emerge.

Add expiration date to collaboration list CSV of folder insight
The CSV file output by the Folder Insights feature does not have an expiration column, but the collaboration report in the Admin console does.
I want the expiration date to be output to the CSV file of the folder insight function.
This is necessary for the department folder administrator to accurately manage collaborators.----- in Japanease -----

Links
When sharing a link, if a user has Box installed, it prompts them to sign in or sign up; they do not get an option to simply open the link. This is unfriendly! Let's make Box less nerdy and more sensitive to the user experience.
I have clients who will not use box links because of this.

Shield Alerts and Admin Sudo Activity
As an admin, I will need to sign in as my users for tasks, troubleshooting, etc. When we do so, all actions taken as that user while an admin is signed in as them should be noted as such in all reporting. For instance, I signed in as a user yesterday and we received an alert for the activities I performed as them, but nothing pointed to me being the actor. Threats occur with end users and admins, and full, transparent visibility is vital in the event of an incident.

Create Folder From Relay Folder Navigation View
In order to create a Relay Workflow the folder structure has to already be in place. This is not always the case. It would be helpful to be able to create a folder from the Relay Folder Navigation view.
For example: if I am creating a File Request flow, I navigate to Relay, start a new workflow, select my File Request trigger, and I want my first outcome to move the file to a folder.
If that folder hasn't been created I need to cancel or navigate away from Relay back to my All Files, create the folder, go back to Relay, find the new folder, and add it to my flow. It would be much easier if I could just create the folder from the Relay UI.

Relay Failure Notifications
It would be extremely helpful if when a relay fails to execute, or stalls for an extended length of time, the admin gets a notification. Currently if a relay fails, or stalls indefinitely, noone is actually notified, and the only record of the failure or stall is in the tracking log of the individual relay. It would be far more efficient for me as an admin to be proactively notified of the issue.

Video Player controls are blocking my content for review
When we send a client a video to review, the Box player controls cover the video making it difficult or impossible to correctly review. This is especially true for captions/graphics.
Please move the controls off of the video so it doesn't block the content.

Allow use of signature and initial image files for GXP part 11 compliant signatures
Could you please allow the use of signature image files when signing under GXP part 11 compliant conditions? As currently configured, only "fake" machine-generated signatures are given as options. Since the Part 11 compliance is conveyed by the coding, the selection of an actual signature image - as allowed for non-Part 11 compliant signatures (and initials) - should be an option. Thanks.

Box version(s) report
It would be nice to be able to generate a report that shows a file's number of versions.
We'd like to change our versioning number at an Enterprise level, but we cannot see how many versions of a file any user has at a time.
It would be nice to be able to pull a report on 'Versions' of a file so that we can see who has over X# of versions of one file and email them about the upcoming change. Currently, there doesn't seem to be a way to find this information.

Change default view in folders being shared
Box defaults to showing files via upload date, please allow the ability to select what the default view is, so that it can be set to file name (ie alphabetically).
When sharing links to folders with clients, files being shown via upload date looks messy and unprofessional and asking the client to change the view on their side isn't an option or a solution.

Direct from link directly to desktop application

Unify Time Zone Handling for Expiration Dates of File Requests and Shared Links
Currently, Box handles expiration dates differently depending on the feature: Shared Links use PST/PDT as the standard, while File Requests rely on the local time zone of the device used to create the link. As a result, even when the same expiration date is set, the actual expiration timing can differ between the two types of links.
Having different time zone behaviors across Box features lacks consistency in implementation and is not intuitive for users. We kindly request that the time zone handling be unified across features.

I would like to request the implementation of a folder lock feature in the UI to prevent folder movement via drag-and-drop.
In BOX, when performing file and folder operations with an administrator account, unintended moves may occur due to drag-and-drop actions.
As a solution to this issue, I would like to request the implementation of a feature in the UI that allows folders to be locked at will, either through the folder's options or from the admin console.
For example, the folder's options could include the ability to lock/unlock individual folders, while the admin console could allow for bulk locking/unlocking of all folders or specific hierarchies.
It has been confirmed that folder locking functionality can be achieved with vendor-provided tools, so I would like to see this type of security enhancement implemented, enabling such actions to be controlled directly from BOX's console.

Ability to create standard templates and images for Hubs use
Admins should have the ability to create a standard set of templates or images for Hubs use. This would help enforce a more standardized environment for an organization.

Allow groups to change classification levels
We would like to see the option of a Box group to be able to change the classifications, along with the options we already have available.
This would allow us to create a group(s) that align with our written policies.

Rejections on an approval task
I want everyone who was assigned an approval task to still be able to record their decision after someone rejects the document. Right now as soon as one person rejects, the approval box is grayed out for everyone remaining and the task notification for those people is removed. Even though box sends out an email as well, most of my team only relies on the box notification center out of convenience.

Block users from placing content into File Explorer locations that they don't have rights to within Box
The current user experience can be confusing to the user, because they are able to place files into File Explorer even though they don’t have rights within Box to write to that location. Box Drive does issue notices that the files are not syncing to the server; however, this can still create an issue for novice users, since the files still exist within File Explorer and allow the user to make changes to the files locally. It would be preferred if Box Drive blocked the user from placing anything into that location within File Explorer.
