Optional functionality when creating “shared links” directly from “box drive”
When creating a “shared link” directly from a “box drive”, there is no ability to set an expiration date or password. It would be desirable to be able to set them for the purpose of preventing the creation of open links from reducing the level of security.

The hyperlinks in the PPT cannot be parsed properly, and the parameters after # will be discarded. I hope this can be improved

Integrate Computer Vision into Box AI
As far as i understand currently Box AI only works for assets which have a text representation. It would be great if you could add computer vision to Box AI (could be achieved by adding LLM tooling provided e.g. by GPT-4o-mini) in order of being able to extract text content from scanned images and ask questions about for the content.
The generated text content could be stored as a text representation as well which would speed up subsequent Box AI calls for the same asset.2 votes -
The ability to choose any folder to save recordings via Box app for Zoom
The current integration does not support requirements that users usually want to accomplish. To be specific, it would be great if a user could select a desired folder to save recordings not fixed "My Zoom Recordings". Customers want to save a recording automatically and share it in a folder where other users are already collaborated. But if you can only save in "My Zoom Recordings", you need to invite users on a recording file or move it to a shared folder every time.

We usually use Box Sign to conduct our business.
We are considering using Box Sign to approve and sign minutes of board of directors meetings, etc., and to submit the minutes signed with Box Sign as an attachment when registering with the Legal Affairs Bureau.
However, Box Sign is not yet certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan at this time, and thus cannot be used in this way.We would like to use Box Sign for our registration application at the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan, so please submit an application to obtain this certification.

Mirror files in one location to another
Add the ability to mirror files from one location to another. If we have /Investment/Deals/financialReport.xlsx we want to have the option to mirror it to another location such as /Investment/Investor Profiles/Axel Pina/financialreport.xlsx.
The feature should include the file's versions. If the file is edited in location one, it should be reflected on location 2.

Display the user which last authorized a Box Custom App
Display the Admin's email who authorized a custom app on the Platform Apps Manager page (this currently shows App Name, Last Activity, Developer Email, Authorization Status, Enablement Status) or in the "View App Details" view for a custom app.
As Primary Admins and Co-Admins can change, this would allow users/admins to quickly identifying the users/email who authorized an application. Reducing confusion or the need to run a report, when determining if an app is still needed or can be removed.

Extending the Attach files as shared links functionality to Box for Outlook mobile
Per https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044195733-Understanding-Box-and-Outlook-Integration-Options, the Box for Outlook integration only supports attaching files as shared links on desktop. Requesting that this functionality extends to iOS and Android.

Attach files directly in Outlook (iOS/Android) with the Box for Outlook integration
You should be able to use the native Outlook attach file option to add Box files into Outlook emails on iOS and Android.
It seems like a real oversight to lock down Intune and block saving to OneDrive, locally on the phone etc. and then give users a terrible experience where they try and attach a file to an email and there's no available location to get files from and instead you have to go into Box first and share the link from there.

Box AI for Hubs - Address # of files in Hub
The Hub functionality works regardless of the number of files available to be viewed from the link(s) listed on the hub page. However, Box AI for Hubs has a restriction of 10,000 files that can be indexed, which includes files that may be nested under the link shown in the hub. Given this, it would be helpful if we could manually disable Box AI for Hubs on specific hubs that we know are indexed for over 10K files so that users do not get an error message on those hubs when they try to use Box AI. (Possibly hiding the Box AI icon.) Additionally, it would be helpful if Box would automatically temporarily disable Box AI if during indexing, a hub where Box AI is allowed grows to over 10,000 indexed files. A tool tip could indicate why Box AI has been grayed out so that the organization could make a decision on how to address the situation.

Display the person who is holding the lock.（ロックを取得している人を表示）
Since it is not displayed who is locking the file, it is unclear who has obtained the lock. Being able to identify this will allow us to request the person holding the lock to release it.

Edit files shared on Microsoft Teams chats without having to preview them first
Currently, when a file is shared on a Microsoft Teams chat, there is a sharing card with two buttons: Preview and Edit.
When the recipient of the shared link clicks on Edit first, an error is shown saying "Office Online failed to load", which apparently is caused by the lack of edit permissions to the file. In other words, clicking the Edit button doesn't add the necessary permissions.
On the other hand, clicking on the Preview button works fine and file is displayed as expected. After previewing, clicking on Edit also works because apparently the recipient of the shared link is added as a collaborator when previewing the file.
Currently there's no indication that users should click on the Preview button first or add the recipients as collaborators directly on Box, so it's confusing for users.

File Open Integrations
When opening a file using Excel Online, it opens in a new tab in the browser. This new tab has no Forward or Back sites available which allows for easy navigation of the spreadsheet when using a trackpad.
However, when you do the same thing for a Google Sheet, it opens in the same tab as the Box folders. That means the site has Back options. This makes it incredibly difficult to navigate the spreadsheet when using a trackpad.
Can we have some consistency with the file integrations?

Option to exclude files from files and folders report
Ability to exclude files in the files and folders report. This will reduce the excel file size and loading time. Allowing for faster data analysis.
