Request for improvement of search function
The search function is inconvenient and we would like to suggest improvements.
There are two main points:① Exact match impossible
・On the website, there is a statement thatYou can perform an exact match search by adding'' in the search field, but even if you do this, it will not result in an exact match. (For example, if you search for "Furusato", you will get hits for characters such as "fu" and "to")⇒ Exact match search is not possible (search is performed based on characters)
② 10,000 byte search range limit (only the first 2 to 3 pages are searched)

Limit the federated search results to files under salesforce root folder.

Panning in Canvas: other than mouse functions, scrollbars would help
If you're zoomed in on a Canvas, the mouse scroll wheel is a nice way to move up and down, or left and right. But, like most applications, scroll bars would be great to have as well.

Scope of Access Policy Application
We request Shield Access Policy Settings to be applied in the external tenant.

We request a setting to prevent service account from creating new folders at the root level.

Version icon and file information not being updated.
One a document hits version 2, the version counter no longer goes up if the document is updated. The properties > file information is not updated either, which means it does not show the latest modified date and time as if there is a lag.

(Display of "Some parts could not be uploaded" even though not all could be uploaded)
・It is a terrible display of expression.

・Different displays appear for the same operation
The results were as follows.When I looked at it, I felt that the display was based on English, and the display was automatically translated, but the accuracy seems to be terrible.

Auto populate the signor's name within the company when I start typing in their email
It would be nice if Box auto populated the signor's name when I start typing in their email when they are a Box user within the company and not just a collaborator on the file.

Option to exclude files from files and folders report
Ability to exclude files in the files and folders report. This will reduce the excel file size and loading time. Allowing for faster data analysis.

Optional functionality when creating “shared links” directly from “box drive”
When creating a “shared link” directly from a “box drive”, there is no ability to set an expiration date or password. It would be desirable to be able to set them for the purpose of preventing the creation of open links from reducing the level of security.

Hyperlink # discarded
The hyperlinks in the PPT cannot be parsed properly, and the parameters after # will be discarded. I hope this can be improved

ARW
I am currently using Box for our file storage and collaboration needs. I noticed that the ARW (Sony RAW image) file format is not currently supported for preview within Box. Could you please provide any information on whether there are plans to support ARW file previews in the near future? If so, could you share any anticipated timelines for this feature release?

Integrate Computer Vision into Box AI
As far as i understand currently Box AI only works for assets which have a text representation. It would be great if you could add computer vision to Box AI (could be achieved by adding LLM tooling provided e.g. by GPT-4o-mini) in order of being able to extract text content from scanned images and ask questions about for the content.
The generated text content could be stored as a text representation as well which would speed up subsequent Box AI calls for the same asset.2 votes -
The ability to choose any folder to save recordings via Box app for Zoom
The current integration does not support requirements that users usually want to accomplish. To be specific, it would be great if a user could select a desired folder to save recordings not fixed "My Zoom Recordings". Customers want to save a recording automatically and share it in a folder where other users are already collaborated. But if you can only save in "My Zoom Recordings", you need to invite users on a recording file or move it to a shared folder every time.

Box Sign is not certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan

We usually use Box Sign to conduct our business.
We are considering using Box Sign to approve and sign minutes of board of directors meetings, etc., and to submit the minutes signed with Box Sign as an attachment when registering with the Legal Affairs Bureau.
However, Box Sign is not yet certified by the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan at this time, and thus cannot be used in this way.We would like to use Box Sign for our registration application at the Legal Affairs Bureau in Japan, so please submit an application to obtain this certification.

Mirror files in one location to another
Add the ability to mirror files from one location to another. If we have /Investment/Deals/financialReport.xlsx we want to have the option to mirror it to another location such as /Investment/Investor Profiles/Axel Pina/financialreport.xlsx.
The feature should include the file's versions. If the file is edited in location one, it should be reflected on location 2.

Display the user which last authorized a Box Custom App
Display the Admin's email who authorized a custom app on the Platform Apps Manager page (this currently shows App Name, Last Activity, Developer Email, Authorization Status, Enablement Status) or in the "View App Details" view for a custom app.
As Primary Admins and Co-Admins can change, this would allow users/admins to quickly identifying the users/email who authorized an application. Reducing confusion or the need to run a report, when determining if an app is still needed or can be removed.
