The Collections page on Box has changed and it is less user friendly now. It now also includes files and folders, which is not what I want
Please remove the files and folders from the Collections page

Create folders during file moves or copies
Create folders during file moves or copies:
User pain point: When moving or copying a file, users cannot create a new destination folder directly from the move/copy dialog. They have to cancel or leave the action, create the folder beforehand, and then restart the move or copy process.Requested improvement: Add a “Create New Folder” option within the move and copy dialog, allowing users to create the destination folder without interrupting their current action.
Expected benefits:
- A smoother, more intuitive user journey
- Fewer unnecessary steps
- Time savings for users
- Improved overall experience when organising files.2 votes -
I want to set separate sharing restrictions for AI Home and Box Automate in [Additional collaboration configuration].
Due to our policy of not allowing end users to invite collaborators, we have configured [Additional collaboration configuration] to [Restrict all collaboration and shared links] in order to deploy AI Home. While this setting is effective for deploying AI Home, it also restricts sharing in Box Automate, which prevents other users from running workflows whose trigger is set to [Manual Start].
As a result, it is difficult for us to migrate from Relay to Automate. Although Automate offers more flexible and extensible functionality than Relay, this limitation prevents us from taking full advantage of it, which feels like a significant missed opportunity.
It would be ideal if AI Home and Automate could be configured separately. This would allow us to maintain strict collaboration policies while still fully leveraging both AI Home and Box Automate.(日本語)

Align page numbering between Box browser preview and desktop app for PPT files
When previewing the same PPTX file in a browser versus opening it in the desktop app, the page numbering differs. The browser preview counts the cover page as page 1, while the desktop app does not count the cover page (the page after the cover becomes page 1).
PowerPoint itself has a setting to exclude the cover page from the page count, but Box's preview feature does not support this setting, causing a one-page offset between the two views.
This creates confusion in practice — for example, a reviewer referencing "page 35" based on the browser preview may find it labeled "page 34" when a colleague opens the same file on desktop. This kind of mismatch causes miscommunication when teams and clients discuss specific pages of a document.
We've confirmed that PowerPoint Web (Office Online) already respects this setting and matches the desktop app's numbering. We'd like Box's preview feature to be updated the same way, so that page numbers stay consistent across browser preview, desktop, and PowerPoint Web.

Can we get the ability to set which agent is the default agent per hub?
It would be great if we could set which agent is the default for each hub. If left blank, then the default Box agent is selected. If we have an agent for each hub, our users may forget to switch the agent as they switch between hubs.

Support Custom Domain Authentication for Box Sign (DKIM / DMARC Alignment)
Problem:
Currently, Box Sign notification emails are sent strictly using noreply@box.com. Because Box Sign does not support custom DKIM or return-path alignment for customer domains, recipient mail servers (especially enterprise security gateways for local enterprisess which doesn't uses world wide system such as ms outlook, gmail server system) frequently flag or block these emails as spam/phishing due to strict DMARC policies.Requested Feature:
Please support Custom Domain Authentication (such as providing SendGrid Automated Security CNAME records) for Box Sign, allowing customers to align DKIM/SPF/DMARC with their own corporate domain (e.g., @company.com).Impact:
This is critical for enterprise customers who rely on Box Sign for external B2B contracts without missing important signature request notifications.Problem:

box edit
Detect whether Box Edit is running before prompting users to reinstall Box Tools
Summary
When Box Edit fails to launch automatically after Windows starts, Box repeatedly prompts users to install or update Box Tools, even when the latest version is already installed.
This creates an unnecessary installation loop because the actual problem is that Box Edit is not running, not that Box Tools is missing or outdated.
Steps to Reproduce
Box Tools is installed and up to date.
Box Edit is registered to start automatically with Windows.
Box Edit fails to launch during Windows startup, so BoxEdit.exe is not running.
Open a file from the Box web interface.
The browser repeatedly asks the user to install or update Box Tools.
Actual Result
Even after reinstalling the latest version of Box Tools, the browser continues to display the same installation prompt.
If Box Edit is launched manually, the browser immediately detects it and file editing works normally.
Expected Result
Before prompting the user to reinstall Box Tools, Box should first check whether:
Box Tools is installed.
BoxEdit.exe is currently running.
If Box Tools is installed but Box Edit is not running, display a message such as:
"Box Edit is installed but is not currently running. Please launch Box Edit and try again."
Benefits
Prevents unnecessary reinstallation loops.
Helps users identify the real cause immediately.
Reduces support requests.
Improves the overall user experience.

Allow automate to apply to multiple folders
I would like for the ability to create one Automate workflow and apply it to multiple folders I choose. Currently, I have to create a separate Automation workflow for each folder and if I need to update the workflow I would need to go back and update all of them which could lead to mistakes.

Enhanced Hub Reporting
Content published to Hubs can be previewed across folders by any user who has access to the Hub, regardless of their folder-level permissions. While this is a great strength of Hubs, it also introduces security risks.
The current Hub reporting is not sufficient for Box Admins to properly manage this. Box Admins would like to regularly review the content published to Hubs in order to mitigate security risks.
If more detailed reporting were available, Admins could, for example, generate lists by Hub owner and ask each Hub owner to review and clean up their own Hubs.
Example fields:
Hub title
Hub owner
Published content name
Folder
Parent folder
…etc.

Workflow Management Report
The new Automate features are much more powerful than the previous Relay, and I’m excited to start using them going forward. After enabling Automate, I expect many users will create workflows, so the number of workflows in a tenant will increase significantly.
Currently, I can visually check the workflows created in a tenant from the admin console, but as the number of workflows grows, it becomes difficult to review them all and properly manage them.
It would be very helpful to have a way to export or list all workflows that exist in a tenant.
Example fields:
Workflow name
Creator
Creation date
Last updated date
Last run date
Total number of runs in the past
…etc.

Don't cancel Box Sync!
I have used Box Sync for many years, and it does exactly what I need it to do, which includes syncing all the files that I keep there and allowing them to download to my computers. Other key features are:
on my MAC, I can search the files on the entire Mac INCLUDING the Box Sync files
I want to have ALL the Box Sync files downloaded on both my computers.
Apparently neither of these is possible with Box Drive, which will make it useless for me (and certainly not better, as all the emails claim).
KEEP BOX SYNC!

Session Folder Picker Not Visible at Session Start in Box AI Home
The Session Folder picker in Box AI Home does not appear until activity begins in the session and Box AI creates the dedicated Session Folder. We understand that this behavior is currently by design.
However, users must first submit a placeholder message before they can view or change the Session Folder location. It would be helpful for the Session Folder picker to be visible and available at the beginning of the session so users can select the intended folder before submitting their first prompt.

Saved Prompts Cannot Be Used Mid-Session
Currently, saved prompts in Box AI Home can only be selected at the beginning of a session. Users cannot introduce a saved prompt during an active conversation, preventing them from applying it to the existing session context.

Use Radio Buttons for Single-Selection Folder Picker in Box AI Home
When picking a destination folder for files generated in Box AI Home, the folder picker uses checkboxes. Since users can pick only one folder, radio buttons would provide a clearer and more appropriate selection experience.

Signer to add fields to the signature request additionally to those added by sender
When using BoxSign, there are many cases where the requester will add additional fields.
In such a situation, there are times when signers themselves would like to add new fields, but they are unable to do so, and many voices are voicing concerns about the lack of convenience across the company.
We would like to request the implementation of this feature to improve convenience.BoxSign
19 votes -
Tansfer Form Ownership
I would like the ability to transfer forms to other users. Reasons below:
If employees are going on extended leave or parental leave and someone else is in charge of managing these forms.
If initial set up is completed by an admin but then continually managed by another team.
I am told form ownership transferring will be available only on deletion of a user account in a future release but would like it to not be reliant on the deletion of a user.

Provide a Command/API to Log Out from Box Drive
Background:
There is currently no command or API available to log out from Box Drive programmatically.Request:
We would like to request the addition of a command or API that allows users to log out from Box Drive remotely. This would be particularly valuable for enterprise IT administrators who need to immediately terminate Box Drive sessions and clear local cache in the event of a device theft.Use Case:
- Remote logout of Box Drive when a PC is stolen, to prevent unauthorized access to corporate data stored in Box
- Clearing the local Box Drive cache remotely to ensure that no locally synced files remain accessible on the stolen deviceThank you for your consideration.
