Navigation enhancement
When I am inside a specific folder and I want to search for a document that is potentially in another folder can I make my Box account simply be selected to default to 'Everywhere' rather than the current folder I am in?
I am not sure if there was a recent UI update, but this issue is brand new. It causes lots of additional clicks and would be helpful if I could have it default to 'Everywhere' / This would save me a lot of time!1 vote -
Search everywhere should be the default search option
After the most recent update, the Box search bar searches the folder you are in automatically, and not "everywhere" as previously. When I am searching for a new folder, I have to either go back to the main page by selecting the box icon or - ensuring I change the search filters to "everywhere"
I think everywhere should be the default or at least have the option for the user to decide how they would like the search bar to function.1 vote -
In Excel Preview - Ability to Sum up a total of a column
Since we can already click on and highlight cells in an Excel file in Preview mode on Box, I would love the functionality of being able to highlight and get a Total (Sum) of cells that is displayed in Preview mode without having to Open or Download the file.

I want to use full text search
Box's search function only indexes up to 10,000 bytes per file, making it difficult to retrieve the necessary information, and it also doesn't allow advanced searches based on keyword relevance, making it difficult to manage information. Please remove the restriction.

Recognizing Faces and Tagging Images
Our company uses a lot of archival images. If the AI feature could identify faces and suggest naming/tagging (the same way most smartphones do now) that would be very helpful. If searching that person's name could populate all of their tagged images that would be ideal. Thanks!

Collaboration Delete
When a group is collaborated with, if you try to delete the collaboration, an error occurs and the group cannot be deleted.
This is because the group has more than the recommended number of members, 15,000.
I would like it to be possible to delete collaborations reliably even for groups that exceed the recommended number.1 vote -
Function to allow selection of all files in a single folder
・I would like to resolve a discrepancy between the number of files displayed in the BOX and the actual number of files (data inconsistency).
・If the time of resolution is undecided, I would like to be able to select all files in a single folder right away, so that I can check the number of uploads and the actual number of files saved.

Playback of more than 8 audio-tracks (i.e. 16 audio-tracks).
In web-preview: The audio-track selector should offer 16 audio-tracks for playback.

Enable Sign request to have a different name than the file name
When uploading or renaming a file, the name of the first file becomes the name of the request.
In some cases we want to differentiate between the two since the file can be more generic and the request can be more personal, e.g. a contract template.
We want to separate the file's name from the request name, making sure we propagate the request name to emails and signing logs.2 votes -

Right now, if the workflow is deleted we cannot get it back.

Should be able to share files with non Box users and they don't have to login/create a Box account.
Why can non Box users not edit files without creating a log in. Is there a way that this can be done? I feel like they had this feature before when if you shared the file with the correct permissions folks could just open, edit the file and the changes would be saved.

Add the option to toggle off the ability for folder collaborators to mail all other folder collaborators
Add the ability to toggle off the ability for folder collaborators to mail all other folder collaborators as it can be very spammy coming from a noreply @ box address and collaborators (especially external) may not fully understand how to use the functionality appropriately, especially with sensitive content/information that should not be seen by other folder collaborators for legal/regulatory reasons.

Ability to schedule sign request for a specific date and time
Currently you cannot schedule the sign request if you want to send to the signer at a particular time or date. For instance: if your signer is located in another time zone and the sender wants the signer to see the sign request at a particular time (morning 9 am maybe) - the sender does not have the ability to do so. Sender should have the ability to schedule the sign request.

The "Application Restriction" should be configurable with the same granularity as the "Download and Print Restriction".

In the "Download and Print Restriction" section of Box Shield's Access Policy, it is possible to apply download, print, move and copy restrictions to Browser/Mobile/BoxDrive by specifying Managed/Outside Users and Owner/Co-Owner/Editor.
On the other hand, third-party applications are not included in this restriction, and only downloads can be restricted under "Application Restrictions".
We would like to be able to set "Application Restriction" to the same granularity as "Download and Print Restriction, as it provides a more consistent user experience if the same controls are applied regardless of which device or application is accessing the site.

Request for additional enterprise setting items (moving across content owners)
In the Enterprise settings, we believe that we need to have a feature that allows us to set an option that does not warn when moving across content owners.
If you are caught by the information barrier limitation, "Stop at the warning display"
If not, we would like to make it "movable without warning".
In particular, we believe that this feature is useful for Box tenants with a closed configuration, so we request that it be introduced as a feature.2 votes
