Registration of Information Barrier segment members in the management group
We would like an extended function that allows segment members to be registered in groups.
This makes it possible to automatically manage segment members in organizations that manage users and groups within a Box tenant using SCIM coordination, etc. from an IDP.

Ability to resize the signature box for signers
Currently, Box's functionality does not allow the signer to change the size of the signature area.
If the signer has a large number of characters or strokes and the signature area is small, it will be inconvenient because the signer's name will be difficult to read.
Therefore, we would like to implement a function that allows the signer to change the size of the signature area.(日本語)

I would like to exempt BOX Service Account user from password reset
Box will disconnect from Salesforce if the password is not reset which creates a problem when we have an automated email drop into box from Salesforce.

Needing to refresh my page after unlocking a google doc so I can move it is annoying
My users are complaining about all the extra clicks that Box requires vs. other cloud storage solutions. For instance, after unlocking a file, I have to refresh my page before I have the option to move that file. This seems like an easy thing to fix. Auto refresh the page after an unlock so all the file options are available.

Create one of "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs
In Teams V2 integration, when you add a Box app to a team from the left menu, Apps >Box> Add to Team > Select the team you created > Set Tab, you may see "Boxファイル" and "Box Files" tabs created.
Please improve the functionality so that only one of the tabs is created, as users may be confused as to which tab to use.4 votes -
Folder Lock from Web UI
Currently, Folder Lock can be configured only through API. We would like to be able to configure it on Web UI, e.g. Folder Settings.
Folder Lock function is very useful, but not used widely. Probably it's because API is not very friendly for some users.86 votesBecause of the downstream impacts, we will not be solving this problem as requested. We will be looking at a more holistic approach to prevent unintended consequences of file operations.

Display Visual Indicator if a File is added to a Hub
Similar to the visual display showing if content is added to a collection, could there be a visual indicator to show if a file has been added to a Hub?
This icon could help serve as a reminder to users that the file they're editing is published to a Hub(s).

Freeing up space with Box Sync
I would like the ability to save the Box sync folder onto a different drive on my PC. Currently, it's on the C drive, but it fills up FAST, so it would be incredibly beneficial for me to save it to another drive on it.
Barring that, I'd like the ability to free up space on my Box folder so that it's only on my machine when I need it.

Change the seconds to rewind/forward in video preview
As a movie dubbing translator, I need a functionality to rewind/forward 3 seconds. Currently only 5/10 seconds rewind/forward functionality is provided. Since translation for dubbing transcript requires precise timing, we rewind countless times. 5 seconds rewind is too long for a line. It may sound small, but it makes difference to translate hours of movies.

Be able to Block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box
Allow for an organization-wide policy to block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box, or at least prevent them from being uploaded/moved to specific folders with specific classifications.

Ability for users with viewer privileges to open files in desktop applications
In BoxWeb, users with viewer privileges have the "Open" button grayed out and cannot deploy files on the desktop.
However, BoxDrive allows users to open Office files as "read-only" even if they are viewers.With BoxDrive, when a file with viewer privileges is opened, it is extracted in the Office application, but with BoxWeb, if you want to view the file using the Office application, you need to download the file, which is time-consuming and cumbersome.
I would like to see an improvement so that the file can be extracted directly in Office without downloading.
I would like to see an improvement so that viewers can use the "Open" button in BoxWeb as well, and when the button is pressed, the file is opened with read permission.*It seems nonsensical to allow users without editing privileges to use "Open", but BoxDrive allows viewers to open and display files in Office, so I would like the same specification to be applied to BoxWeb.

Outlook attach from box sort preference
When using the 'Attach from Box ' feature in Outlook. I always want to see most recent items because it makes it easy to attach a link for a file that I have just worked on. I have to change how files are sorted every time to Name to Date: Newest to Oldest.

When I share a link to a document, I always edit the link to match the file name. It is easier to know what was share, especially after the link expires.

Character code conversion of csv file
When displaying a csv file in preview, full-width values are garbled.
It was confirmed that the garbled characters were resolved by changing the character code to [UTF-8 (with BOM)].
csv is automatically generated, so you need to open each file and change the character code.
I would like a function such as changing the character code when saving in the settings on the box side.プレビューでcsvファイルを表示すると全角の値が文字化けします。
文字コードを［UTF-8(BOM付き)］へ変更することにより、文字化けが解消することが確認できましたが、csvは自動で生成されるため1ファイルごと開いて文字コードを変更する必要があります。

Can be assign "any group.on the other hand,

Recipients :can not be Assign group.for example, a group members include over 50 person, it hard to assigned one by one. So it happy to assign group on send a notification recipients field.
