If the access policy restricts download and printing, Excel files cannot be co-edited with MS Excel Online
Excel files cannot be co-edited in MS Excel Online if the access policy restricts downloading and printing.
One of the purposes of using Excel Online is co-editing.

View file audit log with "Deleted users" name on files even after users have been removed.
It is not a feature of Box to allow "file audit logs" to persist on files showing a deleted users name as the person who made the changes and currently when you remove a user all the collaborators (non-admins) can see is "user made change" instead of the person's name. Yes, you can pull a file management report, but that is for admins and does not provide the teammates of the file any insight as to who was the person that made this change, nor does it help admins determine it easily either. Create Custom File Request links
Currently, today, you can create a file request link, which generates a 32 character alphaumeric string. I'd like the ability to create a custom URL (like I can with shared links) to make it easier to promote my file request links to my stakeholders and make them more rememberable.

Ability to add custom names to reports
The ability to specify a custom name for each report would be helpful when creating several custom reports. Having them all say Files and Folders doesn't tell me which one is created against which user or custom folder target.

Allow granular controls for disabling "Mail All" function for file/folder shares with collaborators.
Allow companies to disable the "Mail All" function of the Collaboration page of a File/Folder so that hundreds/thousands of collaborators of a large company wide share cant be sent notifications errantly, causing a lot of unnecessary noise.

Please implement the search filter of "User who deleted" in the Trash.
Please implement the search filter of "User who deleted" in the Trash.
(This is not same as the filter of "Items I owned" or "Items I deleted".)
Currently we can use owner filtering when searching for content in the Trash.

Additional users need to have the capability to enable Sign feature
Need the ability for more than one person to have the highest admin level of access to the product. Your support stated that only one person can enable the Sign feature in the product. This isn't viable in business. That admin becomes a single point of failure

The following feature is redundant:
Block all applications from downloading content - No integrated applications (except Microsoft Office for the web, Google Workspace, Apple iWork, and Adobe Acrobat Online) or published custom applications will be able to download content protected by the access policy.
I thought the purpose of Box Shield was to protect organizations from data breaches????
We have configured everything within our box account to prevent certain data from being download or printed. However, Box gives our users the option to open these confidential files in Adobe Acrobat which then allows them to download, print, and anything else…

Gestures for jump 10 seconds rewind/forward in video player
Please implement in video player some gestures for jump 10 seconds rewind/forward, eg double tap on sides like in youtube and many other apps. Because when I watch a long video, it's very hard to jump a little back-forward via tabs on the scroll bar, but this action (especially back) is needed very often, when I listen to the speech.

Please make the login form as one step
Now the login form have two steps - at first step I need to fill login, then press "Next" button (for what?), fill my password, press "Log in".
This type of login form brings problems with auto-filling credentials by most of browser plugins.
Please remove the surplus useless step with pressing "Next" in login form, to allow fill login and password in one page, using "Tab" button (or auto-fill plugin), like in most of other websites.

I would like to have ablity to track history for metadata templates in user activity report or security report to know who has created/edited/deleted templates, and what has been changed at what timestamp.

Set default branding experience for File Request Links
In an effort to become "Enterprise Grade" and set certain UI preferences as the default, it would be nice if there was a way to have the enterprise UI settings (logo, color, etc) set as the default user experience when creating a new File Request link rather than having to set that manually. This would also help with consistency across the user created links when making them for external facing entities, reducing confusion for third parties.

Continue to see the folder that a user is invited to after accepting invitation, though they may have access to the parent folder.
If you have access rights to a folder higher than the invited folder, when you click "Accept invitation", the invited folder should be displayed.

Box Relay: Remove Collaborators and Shared Links
We would like the ability to use Box Relay to automatically remove all Collaborators and Shared Links from a folder and all of the sub-items within that folder.
This functionality would be used to secure company files when an employee is off-boarded and ideally this process would be generated by placing a folder within another folder.1 vote
