Email notifications for uploads to a folder are very delayed
We would like to request the email service that is responsible for sending upload notifications to be in real time so we do not waste time having to double check with collaborators if they have uploaded something yet.

We would like it if in reporting, we could get some more information when a shared link has been modified. As in, when it changes from “Item Share Updated” to actual details about what happened to the shared link. The verbiage could mean a number of things, and it makes it unclear to the admin what happened. A few of the things that this can mean are: Access type changed to people with the link, access type changed to people in your company, access type changed to invited people only.

Get User Data For Data Warehouse
If building a data warehouse, would like a way to feed the data from Box directly into a data warehouse without having to use Box reports.

Cross-platform Box Drive with multiple accounts needed
I realize this has been asked for in the past, but dismissed without much explanation of why it is "not planned." I'm the admin of a Box enterprise account. Co-admins in our enterprise org require user-level file access to perform their job duties. While our corporate policy does permit employees to use their Box accounts for personal data, there are numerous issues with this:
1) I travel frequently, and need offline file access, from my computer and devices; can't do that if I have to log out and back in.
2) Box Drive on mobile devices is not particularly useful…6 votes -

I couldn't find an app on the Microsoft Store, I can't download it from the website because my laptop has Windows in S mode that doesn't allow installing programs from a website

I need to not have all the oldest files always sync to my desktop and leave all the newest files set by a date.

Folder tree reporting based on user permission
Cannot run a folder tree report out of the admin console due to size constraints. We wants to see folders, “where user is the owner or co-owner.”

Right now you see a large collection of recent notes but no folder structure - have a view showing folders.

Opening PDF files using native PDF viewer
Clicking on a PDF should open the PDF in the default PDFviewer (e.g. Bluebeam) instead of previewing the file.

Box Drive and Microsoft Apps like Photos to be able to "save as" back to Box drive.
Users get a low memory error when attempting to "Save As" back to Box Drive. This is a Box Support known issue. Currently users are saving to the desktop and then moving back into Box Drive.

Provide a report through the Admin Console including a power user category to allow the identification of power users within the different departments.

Box should send a notification when the comment of a task is modified
When a task is assigned, the assignee receives an email notification that a task has been assigned to them to complete. If the task assigner modifies the comment or text for the task, before the task is complete, the assignee is not notified. Many organization who must comply with 17a-4 FINRA compliance will need to capture these communications in Box. If a notification is not sent due to a modified task, the organization may be at risk of being out of compliance. A second notification should be sent for modified tasks.

See all current Box downloads in Admin Console
I'd like to see a page in the Admin Console that shows all of the Box download files, like for Box Drive and Box Edit, with their current version numbers.
Please start including the version number in the download files so you can know what version you are downloaded without having to install first.

Default shared link order to ascending order by "Name "
When sharing a link to a folder or file, the default order of the files (or folders) that you are viewing is by updated date. It would make more sense for it to automatically be in alphabetical order when the recipient clicks on the link to open the Box.

Account Storage capacity
My company has the Business License which according to the product description has unlimited storage. Yet I see a usage gauge in my profile with a 10 GB limit. Is the storage unlimited or set at 10 G B per user.Please contact me immediately as this may be impacting production leifeasterson @cxonexus.com 631 637-2369. If there's a better way to contact Box with an issue it needs more visibility.

Localize the name of "Classification" metadata template to user's language
User cannot name of "Classification" metadata template which is automatically created when the user create Classification policy. At least it should localize to Box admin's language (ex "分類" in Japanese)

"You removed all applications from your Login Activity List" Email and no Box Documentation
After changing passwords users receive an email stating that "You removed all applications from your Login Activity List, The following [yyy] applications were removed from your Login Activity List:"
It would be very helpful if Box had a KB or documentation that we could share with Users around this email. The email is confusing to users and we receive many service desk requests asking for clarification from this email. Box, can you please create a KB please.
