Add ability to set time for reminder notifications by each user or admin.
Currently assignee will receive reminder notification 24 hours before the due date of the assigned task. Users are receiving these reminders at mid of night and they want to receive them in daytime.
Box Relay can set the default due ("time to complete" option) like how many days and hours.

I would like to be able to change from a classification with a strict policy to a classification with a loose policy. The reverse should be
For the purpose of strictly protecting confidential information, we want to make it impossible to change from strict to loose permissions, even for users who have the authority to change classification labels. However, with the current Shield function, it is not possible to set the priority of changeability.

If I use Box Drive，my computer's local Recycle is not available ?
Whenever a file is deleted from my computer's local Box Drive, it doesn't go in the trash itself. I am not able to see the file in my computer's local trash, it has synched to Box Driver in the first place.

When using canviewpath, the collaborator sees a folder on the screen with no contents that should have been moved to the trash.
This has to do with the collaboration ID.This is because even if you delete an item, the collaboration ID remains and is needed to restore the item.
Although the actual contents cannot be accessed, the fact that the folder can be accessed and the folder name can be confirmed is considered a serious incident by companies with strict security requirements, and an early response is required.

Unable to see external items via API
Currently the API works differently than the UI. in the UI a user can see files/folders that were shared with them from an external (to the org) account, however, when trying to query for the visible items via the API these do not show.
In addition - if you try to get the details of specific items shared by an external user you get an error when using the API, which is unfortunate since this causes 2 classes of behavior that are inconsistent between the UI and the API.1 vote -

Turn off notifications
Turn off notifications for the owner of the account on specific tasks not pertaining to this individual. The account owner is receiving notifications for everyone else's tasks and assignments.

Ability to send e-mails from Box Web UI when "Restrict collaboration to within <Enterprise name>" in folder setting are activated
Following enhancement was made at May 7th, 2021.

In this state, shared link are used to share files with external users.But with the update above, we can no longer send shared links by email from Box Web UI.
Copying the shared link and sending a separate email is a workaround, but it doesn't get users to understand.

Data files that are textual are not identified as text for preview
I'd LOVE for the ability at the enterprise level to be able to say that ANY file with a given extension should be previewed as if it were this other extension. This would both add extensions as WELL as override the Box.com default content type logic.
examples:
myCustomersOrderData.edi should be previewed as is it were a text file, so .edi as .txt
.json as .txt
.funky as .mdI say at the enterprise level so this works for manually uploaded files. However, if an appropriate attribute could be sent in the file upload|modify|version APIs, that would be better than nothing.

Ability to switch english to french in Box for PDF's and other documents
Have a toggle for French or Spanish users, to be able to switch the content to french or Spanish.

Add the ability for previewer/uploader, viewer, and previewer to preview video files that contain watermarks.
Currently, due to the specifications in the following article, previewer/uploader, viewer, and previewer cannot preview watermark enabled video files from Box.
Box Notes, video, audio, flash, .msi, .exe, .zip, and 3D files do not support watermarking. Enabling this feature prevents previewer uploaders, viewers and previewers from viewing these file types.

Have a personalized name for a shared file or folder
It would be great if we could apply a tag, or rename a file or folder to something private to the user rather than what the original owner named the file.
Today we can move those items into Collections to manage them with our own naming, but that doesn't resolve the issue of individual files or folders with ambiguous names.For example: I need to track certain files that a bunch of different teams are working on as part of "Company Project 1".
