Email notifications for uploads to a folder are very delayed
We would like to request the email service that is responsible for sending upload notifications to be in real time so we do not waste time having to double check with collaborators if they have uploaded something yet.

Visual rep of all folder paths
Reports: Provide a visual map of entire enterprise folder trees. An "org chart" of folders.
When I run a report to provide managers of their data and where it's stored, it's a 10000+ line Excel file that share a path for lines and lines. Can this data be translated into a visual chart? Would be much cleaner. Thanks.

Box Reporting - Add name of the Zip file output
Box Reporting - Add name of the Zip file output to the UAR when numerous files are downloaded simultaneously. This would make tracking the activity of downloads from Box to computer much easier.

It is really frustrating when sharing a file & writing an explanation that is deemed "too long" - so your system just deletes it & there's n
sharing with email limit: word limit too low & without warning message is lost

Add "synchronize" or "versions" to the BoxCLI "folders:upload" functions
I am looking for a way to "synchronize" a folder and all of it's contents with the BoxCLI.
So, lets say i run this command:"box folders:upload /root/test_folder --parent-folder=%ID%"
How can i upload the folder, and only "Update" what has changed?
It would be nice to have something for "Folders" like you have for "Files"
"box files:versions:upload FILEID PATH"
maybe - "box folders:versions:upload FOLDERID PATH"
which would update all of the contents of the folder, version stuff that exist, add items that don't.
I know i can "box:folders:delete"... then "box:folders:upload" again.. but seems a waist of bandwidth and time..

Add "Box DICOM Import" functions to the BoxCLI
One thing that would be handy is to be able to upload a folder (of dicom files) and process the contents with the "Box DICOM Import" functionality using the BoxCLI.
Maybe something like: (add a flag to current box:folders:upload command)
"box folders:upload /root/test_folder --parent-folder=%ID% --dicom-import"
That would be Nice!

History of recently shared files and collaborators
History of recently shared files and collaborators. Similar to the ‘Recents’ or ‘Notifications’, it’d be very useful to see a history (even if limited) of files that I shared with other team members.

sort colaborators list attached to a folder by their last name
As a teacher I add students to my folder as collaborators. If I want to make sure they are all in, I read my enrolment which is in sensible alphabetical order and have to check each name presence in "share list" in Box which is unsorted. This algorithm is O(n^2). If Box "shared list was sorted" it would be O(2*n). For 20 students that is difference between 400 and 40 compares. --thank you [add new category-- Usability]

box sync
The company I work for would love to keep the box sync app running for our computers as it is a real convince to only sync the files the designers are working on at the moment and allows us to control what to work on and not have to search through the whole box drive to find the one file every time to work on.

Version control - multiple uploads of the same file
Person A uploads file 1 then person B uploads a new version file 2 as a separate file instead of using the upload new version feature. Same thing for person C and D with files 3 and 4 with 4 being the latest. Any editor should be able to select these multiple files and merge them into one where the files are autosorted according to date. So one file with file 1 as the file name but the contents show file 4 as the latest and if you check version history, you'll see files 1, 2, & 3.

Folder Integrations not available on All Files unless user is owner
We have an App Integration for Folders; Quick Scan. If a user has access to upload to a folder they can use Quick Scan from the Folder's More Actions, Integrations menu to scan a document directly into the folder.
It appears, if a user is the Owner of the folder, the Integration to Quick Scan appears when accessing the Folder's More Options from the All Files area. But, if the user is not the Owner, no Folder Integrations appear. The Folder Integrations always appear if the folder More Options is accessed from a sub-folder, i.e. not the All Files area.

Single page view option for Box for Android
In Box for Android - make single page fit to screen an option for previewing PDFs.
Currently there is either 2 page - which creates a lot of blank space on the top and bottom - or the thumbnail grid - which is good for navigating to a page but not helpful for review of a single page.

Users don't get email notifications for assigned tasks unless they're in the folder
Users don't get email notifications for tasks in Relay unless they're collaborators in that folder. It doesn't always make sense for the users to be collaborators and this can add clicks to the Relay experience. Because of this, users that rely on Box Drive don't get notified that tasks have been assigned to them unless they log into the web app to check.
Can users get email notifications when they've been assigned a task in a workflow regardless of whether they're collaborators in the folder?

Preview in my locale, not US (date formatting)
When using the Excel preview and a date format that should respect my locale, Box uses US as default. US date format is the world's littlest used format, used only by the USA.
It should respect my chosen region from my preferences. But doesn't.3 votes -
automatic periodically delete
Current feature only delete on specific date/time. please add regular/recurring delete/trash feature. e.g: every 1 week delete certain folder. Every 1 month delete specific folder. Thanks.

Remove External Password once Done
I would love to see the ability to remove/disable the External password after it has been used. We have many users who only need it once or twice for something niche, but once it's set you can't undo it meaning they're stuck rotating that password every 90 days, forever, despite us being on SSO.
Disabling this closes a login method that's no longer needed which is overall more secure, and removes a large inconvenience.

I would like the kind of functionality in BOX that I get with GoogleDocs
My main input is that I would like the kind of functionality in BOX that I get with GoogleDocs – in particular the ability to work in a document at the same time, see who is editing the document at a time, track their changes, revert to newer versions. In box, the work is linear and when you are working at the same time and save (if you haven’t lockd people out), it makes another copy. Seems so slow compared to GoogleDoc speed.

Provide an option to sync files with names beginning with '.'
Box sync / box drive needs to provide an option or a setting that will enable files whose names begin with '.' to be sync'ed.
Reason: I would like to be able to use Box Drive as storage for projects that I manage via Eclipse and GIT. However there are files and directories named .git and .project that currently box drive does not sync, which makes using my box drive as storage for such things impossible.3 votes -
"Non-private custom URL" language is wrong
The new language around custom URLs is wrong. In link settings the checkbox reads: "Publish content broadly with a custom, non-private URL."
If I understand correctly (and I really think I do) how broadly the content is published is 100% controlled by the "People with the link / People in your company / Invited people only" setting in the prior screen.
Checking the box to create a custom URL does NOT publish the content broadly if a restricted setting is used, and does NOT make the URL "non-private".
This setting should be labeled with plain speech that doesn't imply anything…
