I want BoxEdit/BoxDrive to support the Save As feature
When a user opens a file from the web interface in a desktop app such as Excel, makes edits, selects Save As, and renames the file, the new file does not get saved. Countless hours' worth of work have been lost because of this significant problem. If a user does all the same steps with the exception of opening a file from File Explorer (BoxDrive) instead of from the web interface, the new file is saved. We need the same functionality in the web interface!

BoxRelay trigger "Scheduling"
A customer is considering using boxrelay in the future.
Event scheduling → When triggering by date, currently you can only select the 1st day or the end of the month.
For example, if it were possible to do this on the second Wednesday, the 10th, or the 15th in the future, I think it would be convenient and encourage its use in the future.

Folder differentiation on Web App
While Box does show a different folder if a folder is shared (blue with people silhouette) you are unable to tell which is shared BY you and which is shared TO you. I recommend changing the folder color to the default color, but adding the people silhouette when YOU share folders, then the blue one with the silhouette can be used for folders shared TO you.

Provide a mechanism to indicate which BOX space you are in - potentially by account owner
It has become clear that personnel often are invited to multiple Box spaces. This can cause confusion due to folder naming that doesn't indicate what Box account that folder is associated with.
It would be beneficial if there was some method to indicate which Box account you are posting information in. This could be done with some type of context switching in the web app, or some listed account name with the folder.
We have found that often times, some personnel with 'free' Box Lite accounts will post information in their 'free' account instead of dropping them in the Box…

Customize shared link theme and logo
As the File request link can be customized (text, colors, logo...), it would be great to customize a shared link too.
We have many companies inside our enterprise, so each company would be able to set its logo for their shared links (and not the default one of the enterprise).1 vote -
Searching for names with & does not work
Hi, we have a group called M&A - you cannot actually share any folders or files with this group through the traditional methods because searching for M M& or M&A does not produce the group on box.com

Update Shield Access Policy Restriction for Box Sign
For the Box Sign Request Restriction, add the option allow a signature request, but require additional security controls (e.g., signer authentication, password) for the signature request.
We need the ability to send sensitive content for signature but don't want it sent using a public link.

Concurrently list the EIDs of the sandbox and primary tenant in the “Enterprise ID” field in Account & Billing.
We currently use several Box tenants.
We have created a sandbox for each tenant, but we are having trouble confirming which sandbox is tied to which primary tenant.
Please write the EID of the sandbox and the EID of the primary tenant together in “Enterprise ID” in the Administration Console > Account & Billing.

Ability to sync folders across multiple users
My corporation has several regionally-controlled folders containing information that should be the same. Right now, that information has to be manually copied and/or reconciled to ensure the data is the same. I would like the ability to connect multiple folders from different users to ensure that the data is always synchronized across the regionally-controlled folders.

Auto "Add Box to this Chat" in Teams
With Box for MS Teams, you can use an App Setup Policy in Teams so the Box app always shows under your chat box so you can easily find it. With that, if you select it and choose one of the options for Upload or Share, you are then prompted to "Add Box to this Chat".
Can that just be automatically added to all chats and channels?

If you approve a document without signing it with BoxSign, the PDF will not become a signed file.
I would like the PDF to be treated as a signed file even if a signature field is not used in BoxSign and a user with the role of Approver approves it.In some cases, a signature field may not be necessary because a log is kept even if approval is given.

Customer is curious is watermark will still appear on a screenshot/screengrab. OR if a feature would prevent a screenshot/screen grab from being taken.

Automatic validation of Box Folder and File access
At IBM we have various tools that have automated validations, where people who have access to the tool are notified to ensure that they have a continued business need to access the tool. At times the manager is also copied on the email.
I would like to see Box for IBM implement something for us to manage Box Folders and Files which people have access to IBM Confidential Information be more protected on a regular basis.

Classification Stats as a Chart or Card on the Insights Page
We would love to have the ability to view the status of our classified documents on a chart, card, or in a report that shows the percentage of documents across our tenant that are classified.
