Selective Bulk Trash Restoration
Enable the ability to further filter trash folders by folder path and date deleted and perform a bulk operation to restore affected files. Alternatively allow a view to see a full list of all deleted items, rather than the smaller pages.
The current bulk method is to restore all deleted items in trash. In organizations where the trash retention is set to never auto-delete, trashed files are maintained indefinitely which can create a very large trash folder for users. We do not want to restore files and folders for all time, just a select period.

Ability for folder co-owners to recieve additional collaboration notifications
In Box, when a collaborator invites another collaborator, the owner of the folder will be notified by email that the collaborator has been added. I would like you to add the ability to send this notification to co-owners as well. Folders are often not managed by the owner alone, and co-owners need to get as much information as the folder owner.

Ability to get list of annotations through an API
I would like to use API to get a list of annotations for a file.
I can use the API to get comments on a file, but not the annotations.
Could you please implement such an API?
For example, something like this.

Ability to reduce file size when image is scanned via the Box mobile app.
- Currently, the size of PDF files obtained when we scan a document via the Box mobile app, is very large.
- Example: Box app on iPhone file size - 7.4MB; Apple's "import from iPhone" file size: -3.9MB. - Could we have the ability to resize / reduce quality of these files?17 votes -

Add auto-lock/unlock feature in Box Drive or provide a configuration tool
In Box Drive v2.21, it is possible to enable the ability to automatically lock/unlock files when they are opened in Box Drive by modifying the registry.
However, it is difficult for end users to modify the registry, so we would like to see Box Drive include the feature to automatically lock/unlock files, or provide a configuration tool (such as a batch file for registry modification) to modify the registry.17 votes -
Co-admin should be able to login to other co-admin accounts and service accounts
Box co-admin should have the ability to log into other co-admin accounts and application services accounts to manage content. Today, you rely on using Box APIs or the primary Box admin account. It would be more convenient for coadmins to use the Box webapp instead.

Support more preview fonts
Zinc Group uses fonts that are currently not supported for Box web UI preview, Klavika and Stag. Since these fonts are used extensively in the company's approved document templates, they wish to have them added to the list of supported fonts for preview.

Printing Annotations Attached to Box Notes
Currently annotations do not appear when a BOX Note is printed. It would be helpful if the option to print the the annotations was given as a setting.

Mark comments as resolved
Love the direct comments/annoations on the file because, when I'm providing feedback, I can circle where I'm referring to and then insert my comment. But when the owner makes the change, the comment is still on the slide. Owners should be able to mark the comment as resolved which hides the comment.

Make an Alias of Box Drive
Hello,
Previously, while using Box Sync on Mac OS, I was able to get quick access to the files by making an alias of the Box Sync folder.
I was also able to set the Finder preferences so that "New Finder Windows Show the Box folder."
However, it looks like neither of these are possible with Box Drive. Is there any way to make an easy shortcut to Box? The only option I've found is to place Box Drive in Launchpad.

Ability to search for Box files from the Mac OS Spotlight Search feature. Allow all files/folders I have access to in Box/Drive to surface in the search functionality on my Mac desktop.

Support the SheetView when using Excel Online by Box Edit
When filtering an excel file on Box by Excel Online, the filter does reflect to the other users. We would like an option to have the independent filter between users. For Microsoft environment, the Sheet View is now generally available so we want the same functionality on Box as well.

Add support for File name sensitivity
Box currently doesn’t support the notion of file sensitive file and directory names like Linux does, so backups to Box, for example with rclone, lose similarly named files that only vary in case.
For example, you can only have File1.txt and file1.txt, but no both in Box.
In comparison, there’s no such limitation in Google Drive and Linux file systems, for example.
Please add support for file name sensitivity.

Editor permissions without delete function
Recently, we had a user delete a very important and large folder that housed 1.4 TB of client data. We have looked into changing permissions for all users to Viewer Uploader from Editor to prevent this from happening again, but this also takes away the ability to MOVE files/folders as well. We would like there to be an option for a role to be introduced that would allow users to have all functions of Editor just WITHOUT the ability to delete.
