Ability to prevent the admin passwords from expiring
We have our copy machines scan documents directly into Box folders. However those processes periodically fail because Box currently has no ability to stop the Administrator password from expiring.
Please allow an option in the Admin Console where you can select to have the Admin password not expire.

I would like to add comment/remarks on each user in the admin console so that I can see which department each user belongs.

Improve Gmail Integration
I was hoping that the integration with gmail could be as robust as it is with outlook. I really enjoyed the features of the outlook Box integration and now that I'm on gmail it's a huge step backwards.

Improve the Box for Slack to have the ability to save messages in Slack to Box
My company's Slack has a 1-year retention policy and messages are to delete within 1 year. I would like to archive messages in Slack to Box (in any searchable form e.g. text, word, BoxNotes etc).

Enhancement to the copy link feature for videos
Is is possible to add the feature to copy link at current time in video on BOX ? We can send the link with this feature and the receiver will be able to open/launch the video at the right place with the click of the link (mm:ss).

Visual colour reference on files as a label
We currently use another cloud based system for image approval with a creative team. We are currently looking at moving this service over to box. Currently to approve reject images the team use labels. As a creative team they love labels as they are visual. A basic dropdown you can select against the image or multiple images that are colour coded without having to go in any sub menus to apply. Is there any plan to add a label function in box. Or is there one already that I’ve missed. I understand you can use tags/Meta data to do this…

Provide a separate label that feeds the "Metadata" tab in search UI on creation of a template
When user clicks on search options in the web app and on the metadata tab on choosing of the template the UI generates a Form to provide the values for the metadata properties. Today the Web App shows the Metadata Properties label defined during the creation of the template. Sometimes these labels do not read well during search. Example: If the label says "Closed Record Date (Required)" when capturing the values in the template it makes sense but when searching the word "(Required)" is feeding wrong message to user. So provide another label when creating metadata templates for each property…

Metadata removal confirmation message verbiage update
When trying to remove a template from a file or folder, the buttons say "Remove" but the confirmation message says the word "delete".
"Are you sure you want to delete <Template Name> and all its values from the file?"
Please change that to "Are you sure you want to remove <Template Name> and its values...

Calendar Widget UI enhancements
The today date/selected date in calendar widget is not highlighted enough and makes it difficult for users to view. Suggest to add a square box or additional contrast to make it clearer to the user.

Add a folder in Bulk
It would be nice to have the ability to create a folder one time, but as a waterfall in hundreds of other folders. Instead of adding the same sub-folder under all 300 main folders individually, there needs to be a way to add the same sub-folder to all main folders in one step.

Ability for users to edit user name with special characters
Admins can update user names with the following characters: ! $ % ^ & = . + { } : ; / ? > < | ~ _ `. But users can't modify their name with those characters on the Profile screen of the user's individual Account Settings.

Java SDK Readtimeout setting
Right now in order to not have issues with client applications, we are setting the ConnectionTimeout=60 seconds, and ReadTimeout = 60 seconds.
In our applications we are uploading/downloading files, and doing Searches. So we need the higher readtimeout for those operations as it will take some time for the API's to respond, especially in the afternoons EST.
We would like to be able to set the readtimeouts depending on the exact API being called.
ie BoxFile.getInfo() should have a much lower readtimeout than BoxFile.download()

One of the link icons should merely copy the url instead of a pop up window
I was told by someone on your Twitter team to send my feedback here. Essentially on the row of each file or folder in box there are two icons in which you can click to access the link for that file or folder if you have created a share link. One of them should merely copy the link to the clipboard instead of bringing up that window where are you can invite people etc. Ideally the icon in the middle to the left of the date.

Product Support - I need phone support and remote desktop control.
I have a small business with 6 employees and we all share using box drive. I have spent about 3-5 hours over the past 2 weeks in the "chat" and email support world trying to solve a problem. I need phone support. and I need box to remotely control my desktop to solve problems. I do not have an IT department.

Action Item Register
As a user of BOX I would like to be able to have one consolidated lists of all the action items that arise during meetings and I capture in the agenda template provided by Box. This way I can keep track of these action items in one place rather than having to open each agenda/meeting minutes document to list these in another location for tracking purposes.

provide a way to auto-check the 'Only one assignee is required to complete this task' checkbox
This is when you are adding approval tasks to a document. If you forget to check this, it can lead to everyone in a group having to go in and approve the document before it can be completed.

Make bulk user upload more robust and improve error notifications
I attempted to bulk-add ~250 users. This turned into a long run of whack-a-mole and required Box Product Support intervention because:
a) Rows that did not have errors were not processed
b) Rows that did have errors sometimes failed silently (sometimes perhaps caused by secondary email addresses or external email addresses)My net experience was getting not-particularly-actionable errors like this:
Because some of the information in the file you uploaded may have contained errors or conflicts, not all users were added to your Box account successfully.
Of the 221 users in the file you uploaded, 221 users were not added…

Auto-open files when downloaded from Outlook to Box Drive
Currently when one downloads files from Outlook to box drive on one's laptop/desktop, one has to then go to that folder using file explorer (often several clicks or using the quick access menu) to open the file and then editing it. It would be very useful to have an auto open feature once the file is downloaded. Similar features are already available while using say Gmail on the web browser or even downloading a file from WhatsApp's desktop app.

Open Box Drive in full screen mode
1 - Box Drive Icon on the Task Bar should Open the Box Drive Search Tool, not the Bod Drive Folder in Windows Explorer.
2 - The Box Drive application should open up on full-screen view, with the BOX Folders on the left (as in Windows Explorer) - With the Box Search Tool on the right. This will go a VERY LONG way to help new users to "get comfortable with" / transition to BOX!
