"Users Prefer Option to Place Logo in Top Left Corner of Screen"
In the old UI, you could use any logo in the top left corner of the screen.
We have now heard that the only place we can set a logo is in the top right corner of the screen.
Users are used to the logo being in the top left corner and would like the option to continue placing it in the top left.

Ability to search applications under the custom apps tab
Looking forward or a capability to search for applications within the custom apps tab.
We have more than 100 Applications whitelisted given the size of our organization and that keeps growing. In this case, whenever there is an action needed to be done on an application say for example disable an application. We need to search through the long list. Ability to run relay workflows as a group
Relay workflows and approval tasks are started and sent as the user that created the relay. Ideally you want to get the box approval task that is sent to the users to approve to look like it is coming from the team that is requesting the approval.
Example: Invoice approval
When an invoice approval relay starts, pick dept. from metadata and start an approval process to the appropriate user as defined in the workflow. The user gets an email that says 'boxadmin' (in out case the user that created the relay) has sent you an approval task.It would be…

Flexibility to adjust column settings on the left panel
Flexibility to adjust column settings on the left panel - where favorites are listed. It is very small and you can not see the entire field name.

Enable shared link expiration notifications for user that enabled the shared link
For a closed folder structure, where the primary admin owns all content, Box should give the ability to 1) disable shared link expiration notifications for folder owners and 2) enable them specifically for the users that created the shared link to begin with.
Even if the former will not be changed, the latter behavior would be important for a closed folder structure.

Launch a Task or Workflow From the File Menu
In order to assign a task or start a workflow a user must preview a file. Adding the ability to launch a task or workflow from the file menu would cut down on time and steps and improve the user experience.

When you get a shared link in Box, it automatically copies it and has a "copy" button front and center - would love the same thing for Box Notes.

Allow access to account details in admin console regardless of billing
Please fix the access to the billing site.
I'm trying to access my account details to see when we have to renew. All I get is that the page has expired. How can I access it?

Option for condensed/compact UI
Please consider an option for a condensed Web UI (similar concept to Gmail's cozy/compact): smaller icons, less white space, options to eliminate interface elements like the sidebar. It would be nice to be able to fit more information (filenames, file lists, etc.) on the screen.

Notification for Incompatible Characters in file and folder names
We've run into issues with end users not being able to access content from Box Drive because the file or folder is created with a character that it is incompatible with Microsoft's file explorer.
Could you add in a pop-up visual in the web view that points out when you're using a character that will not be accessible from Box Drive?

Don't ignore dotfiles. Allow users to specify names or patterns to ignore.
Many files that start with a period are not meant to be ignored (.gitignore, .emacs, .Rhistory, .RData). Box should ignore only filesystem-specific files such as .DS_Store, and sync everything else. Better yet, allow users to specify the filenames or patterns that should be ignored.

Improve ability to see created tags and select tags
Need to be able to see and select tags that we have created. Right now we just have to guess what tags we have. And hope that we're spelling them correctly. Right now this lack of functionality is going to force us to keep looking for a tool to manage assets for a team.

Can we connect our box account to Notion?
Notion is a very helpful note application that provides components such as databases, kanban boards, calendars and reminders. It's very easy to use them as a task manager for teamwork. Our team like Box and put all our files on Box, but the function of Box Notes is a little bit limited. We have to use other apps to assign work and manage the tasks, but sometimes these tasks is related to some files. I hope Box can support the account connection to Notion or maybe add some more functions like @ member or task dashboard in Box Notes.

Sync multiple accounts to Box Drive
Allow multiple accounts to sync with Box Drive.
Many of us have multiple corporate/personal accounts that require local drive sync'd access.56 votesWe’re not planning a ‘fast switch’ option to allow a user to easily switch between 2 different Box accounts on Box Drive while maintaining all cached data. The only option we have now is that users can ‘logout’ of their current account and sign into another account, but the caveat is that this will delete all their local cached data/MFO settings from Box Drive

Consistent menu in web app when applying metadata to file and folder
Request to make applying of templates for files and folders consistent. Provide same menu item for file and folder when applying a template. Allow application of template on a file without previewing the file just like in folder.

Ability to prevent users from adding/deleting files and folders of a specific folder without affecting that folder's sub-folders
Example: I have a top level folder called 'Top'. Inside that folder I have two other folders 'A' and 'B'. I would like to prevent users from adding and deleting content in the 'Top' folder but still allow them to add and delete content in folders 'A' and 'B'.

BoxDrive app for Windows better error messages visible to users
We are trying to troubleshoot BoxDrive connectivity issues and the only error it generates now is "Verify that you are connected to the internet and restart Box Drive". This error is not specific enough to start the troubleshooting process. BoxDrive for Windows needs to have a better error messages shown to the users if it's an issue with network connectivity, user authentication or any other issue.

Search for a file with an "_" in the name won't work in the windows 10 file explorer, need to rename the serxh entry to "-" dash.
Search for a file with an "" ( ABCCCDD.pdf) in the name won't work in the Windows 10 file explorer, need to rename the search entry to "-" ( ABC-CC-DD.pdf). In this case the ABCCC_DD.pdf file will be found
