  1. Expose EXIF Metadata in the Box Drive when Media (Photo, etc.) is Uploaded via Box Drive or Web App

    We sort hundreds of thousands of photos taken by our users. We need to be able to sort within Box Drive in a Windows Explorer view, and one of the ways they sort is via the Date Taken attribute.

  5. Ability for the Admin to choose which reports a group admin can run

    Currently the option is to allow or disallow group admins to run reports. Admin wants to disable certain reports but not others.

  7. Expose ability to restore versions of files via API

  8. Remove highlighting in snippets from search results that aren't indexed (e.g. Boolean operators)

    Currently if you search with a Boolean operator (e.g. AND, OR, NOT), our search does not index those words. However, we still highlight those terms if they appear in the snippets, leading to confusion over whether the search is indexing them or not.

  9. Add admin setting to change default view for user folders to descending.

    Create a setting in the admin console to automatically be able to enable descending order filter for all named files for the whole enterprise. This way each user doesn’t have to do this individually.

  12. iOS App: When "folder" is marked as offline, files in that folder doesn't get updated / downloaded automatically.

    In order to update the file(s), user needs to either:

    1) display the offline folder in Offline tab and manually tap "Update" link.

    2) Preview the file

    3) Close iOS App and relaunch

  18. Set a tag for a group of collaborators

    tag will only appear in the auto complete box when searching if you created the tag and own the content. We are requesting that you pull the tags for a group of collaborators instead

  20. Box Drive should preview files in windows explorer or Finder

    There is a feature in Windows Explorer that allows you to enable a preview pane that previews the contents of files inside of the explorer window. This does not work on files that are in Box Drive even for files that have been opened before.
