Add visual indicators to help users understand if a file is already cached locally on user's PC
We want to make it easier to tell if a file is already cached on a user's machine.

Improve way to update lock status of a file
When a file is locked by a user in Box Drive, users who are looking at the same file at that time via web browser will not noticed the file is locked until they refresh the page. We would like to have the lock status updated in a more dynamic manner without the need for a page refresh

Allow for one-off permissions changes to individuals in a group.
When inviting a group to a folder, we would like to have the ability to give a different permission to just a specific member within the group. Currently if a group is invited to a folder, all members will get the same permissions. Te only workaround is invite the indiv user separately. However, this is not an officially supported functionality of Box.

Not all user settings can be controlled via our APIs.
Some user settings are missing from our APIs
eg: acknowledge collab invite, user avatar, mail notifications etc9 votes -
Allow admins to choose whether their users need to acknowledge collaborations or not.
Currently there is no control to force/unforce this setting.

"Removed shared link expiration" should be its own action
Currently it's nestled under "Item Share Updated" which is not only vague and confusing to users but also incredibly unhelpful in troubleshooting.

Create new text files
the ability to create a New text file with the ability to save the file with a file type extension of .txt, .md, .sql or others from the box web site New button.

Dragging scale feature of the gallery view goes from left to right
The slider to increase the thumbnail size (in gallery view) goes from largest on the left to smallest on the right-- this should be flipped to be consistent with the rest of the UI

Ability to change idp name.
Once customer set up SSO connection, that IdP name stays there even after they switch to new IdP. It's UI misrepresentation.
For example, a company may initially setup SSO with Azure using SelfService. If they switch to Okta, the Azure language will remain.12 votes
