1. Support Intune Managed Browser

   Currently, Box doesn't support Intune managed Browser. There are different behavior from a supported mobile browser like Safari, Chrome. If Intune Managed browser app is only Intune Browser, a user cannot use Box properly.

2. The ability to check the characters when setting/typing the password for shared link and account

   When we're entering passwords of shared links and accounts, we want to check it by seeing the actual characters.

   For example, this request has been achieved on the following page:

   https://account.box.com/signup/n/personal

   Is it possible for you to implement the same button in the account ligin page and the shared link setting window?

3. Windows App Custom Disctionary for Spell Check

   Using the Box Notes Windows desktop app is awesome. A huge pain point is the spell-check feature because it lacks a custom dictionary feature. In many cases, my notes are riddled with little red spelling error-underlines because the application doesn't allow me to accept and remember frequently used words. Examples include names, places, people, companies, products, etc. The list could go on but I fell I've effectively communicated my concern.

4. ELIMINATE the display message " We're sorry, this file type is not currently supported" " as it terrifies our customers

   Display message "We're sorry, this file type is not currently supported" scares our customers on the download shared link page. They think it is an ERROR and will not download the .ISO or other file that cannot be PREVIEWED. Make the message SPECIFIC to PREVIEW:
   "Preview not available for this file type, click Download to continue"
   or just
   "Preview not available for this file type"

   Saying it is UNSUPPORTED means too many bad things. If this is not fixed, we will leave BOX. Seriously.

   Interesting feature request! However, we’re not able to prioritize it at this time due to competing priorities.

5. Combine Feed with Notifications and Recents to make one seamless experience

   If you could combine feed with notifications + recents into one screen. Our users find that they’re often switching back in forth between the screens; if you could have a screen with three columns including all of these items and have a way to sort them, scroll them – that would be one experience and save time flipping between pages.

7. Password reset process is cumbersome

   Even with the understanding that my specific situation might add a few steps, it is significantly longer and more involved than the analogous process for any other product, tool, or service that I use. I have described the steps that I have to go through and would encourage the Box Developers and UX Teams to consider a more seamless way to do this in some future release.

   Reset Password – Box Drive
   Key:
   - = optional step, performed for positive validation that the new password was accepted
   + = step that is specific to my setup

   1. At Windows/Domain login, notification appears stating that I am “no longer connected” to Box and should log in again. Note that no indication is given as to why this is, but in practice, I have learned that this means that the password has expired.
   2. 2. I generally log in anyway to confirm this. Logging in generates a prompt for the MFA code, which I obtain and enter. At that point, I am told that my password has expired and I am directed to log in to the web site to reset it.
   3. I log in to the web site. I am again prompted for my MFA code, which I retrieve and enter. I am then notified that my password has expired, and I am asked to enter my email address – the same address that I just used to log in – in order to receive a reset prompt. I do so.
   4. I check my email program for the message and click on the link provided; I am returned to my browser at the Password Reset form/page
   5. At the web site, I enter my new password
   6. 6. I log in to the web site, using my new password, to confirm that it has been accepted and that LastPass has correctly saved the new value. I am again prompted for my MFA code
   7. I log in to the app using my new password and another MFA code
   8. 8. In my specific setup, I then launch my virtual desktop (AWS WorkSpace), which also has Box installed. I see the same “You are not connected to Box” message, but this time I am able to simply log in to the app with my new password. Once more – fifth time – I am prompted for an MFA code

   The entire process takes several minutes, and can take up to ten, depending on optional steps, latency in receiving the email or MFA codes, etc. It requires that I log in to either the app or the web site a minimum of three times, and as many as five in my particular scenario. Honestly, I have an easier time resetting my bank’s online credentials, or reporting that my credit card was lost and getting a new one. As an IT professional myself, I completely understand the need for security, and I appreciate the availability of options in the process, but I am sure that this can be made at least a little less cumbersome. Would you at least take a look at it? Thanks!

8. Ensure language change in Box.com also displays in applications, especially in dialog boxes, warnings and in the Box group on the Ribbon.

   When I change the display language in Box.com to French, for example, the dialog boxes for Box in the apps (e.g., Word, Outlook etc.) are still in English. Any info or error messages in English, not in French. A good example is the attachment message that pops up asking if you want to save the attachment to Box and attach the file. Also the Box group in the ribbon is still in English, and the tool tips there are also in English.

9. Android File Association Fix

   On Android, other apps prompt you to "open with" when opening a file there is no association for (ps1, vbs, lang of your choice). However Box makes no such prompt. Please update Box Android to offer an "open with" dialog like other apps have. 10. Create Custom URL for shared links in Box Drive

    Right now a link can not be customized as the customer is used to when using the WebApp. Only “Copy Link” is available.

    Change Box Pulse's name to Feed Box so people can send their feedback to FeedBox. this will feed Box new feedback that will improve and enhance user's experience from their feedbox. LOL

12. Add rich sharing features from webapp to Drive

    This is not currently planned as there is unclear purpose and implementing it may expose sensitive information.

14. Allow 'Previewer' role when inviting a collaborator to a file

    Currently the 'Previewer' role is available when inviting someone to a folder, however this level is not available when inviting someone to a file.

17. User Activity report should have logs for “New version upload”

    At present, it only shows as “Edit” and if a new version with a different name was uploaded on a file by mistake, the admin will not be able to find out what happened by searching for the file name.

18. 409

    On a 409 Name Conflict exception, the response does not contain the ID of the group in conflict, requiring the use of another API call to get the ID of the group with that name. Typically we recommend trying to find the group first, if the group is likely to have been created, but in the instance it is not, then 2 calls are, once again, necessary.

    We have also seen instances where the group name search is not returning a valid result, and the logic can never find, nor create the group, causing a critical failure in the logic.
