Removal of BoxAI’s limits or publication of the limit values
There is a daily usage limit for BoxAI, and this has led to complaints from within the company.
As an administrator, I do not know the limit values and am unable to respond.
Can anything be done about this situation where internal users cannot use it freely?

Detect whether Box Edit is running before prompting users to reinstall Box Tools
Summary
When Box Edit fails to launch automatically after Windows starts, Box repeatedly prompts users to install or update Box Tools, even when the latest version is already installed.
This creates an unnecessary installation loop because the actual problem is that Box Edit is not running, not that Box Tools is missing or outdated.
Steps to Reproduce
Box Tools is installed and up to date.
Box Edit is registered to start automatically with Windows.
Box Edit fails to launch during Windows startup, so BoxEdit.exe is not running.

Session Folder Picker Not Visible at Session Start in Box AI Home
The Session Folder picker in Box AI Home does not appear until activity begins in the session and Box AI creates the dedicated Session Folder. We understand that this behavior is currently by design.
However, users must first submit a placeholder message before they can view or change the Session Folder location. It would be helpful for the Session Folder picker to be visible and available at the beginning of the session so users can select the intended folder before submitting their first prompt.

Saved Prompts Cannot Be Used Mid-Session
Currently, saved prompts in Box AI Home can only be selected at the beginning of a session. Users cannot introduce a saved prompt during an active conversation, preventing them from applying it to the existing session context.

Use Radio Buttons for Single-Selection Folder Picker in Box AI Home
When picking a destination folder for files generated in Box AI Home, the folder picker uses checkboxes. Since users can pick only one folder, radio buttons would provide a clearer and more appropriate selection experience.

Enable image resizing in Box Hubs
All images pasted are resized to the full width of the page - this does not work for small images. Requesting the ability to resize images to make them smaller within a block.

Enable Sharing Box Automate Workflows with User Groups
Currently, Box Automate workflows can be shared with individual users. We would like to request an enhancement that enables workflows to be shared with user groups.
This feature would reduce reliance on specific individuals and support team-based workflow management. In situations where the workflow owner leaves the company, changes roles, or becomes unavailable, other members of the group could continue to manage and maintain the workflow without disruption. This would improve operational continuity and reduce administrative overhead.2 votes -

Send Signature Request on Behalf of Another User
Requesting the ability to act as another Box user when requesting a signature on a document. Use case is where an executive needs a doc for signature, and their admin generates that request on the exec's behalf -- the exec name holds more weight, so the ability for that admin to be granted extended Sign privileges to be able to send a request as if they were the exec. Implementation of stable access to external shared links (such as app.box.com) in BVE-enabled environments (ent.box.com)
Currently, when accessing external shared links (app.box.com) from a BVE-enabled environment (ent.box.com), the browser login session is not always properly maintained, and Box may temporarily fail to recognize the user’s account.
When shared links are used regularly in business operations, having to log in again or switch browsers each time places a significant burden on users and negatively affects productivity.Please ensure that users can access external shared links (app.box.com) reliably from BVE-enabled environments without session interruptions or the need to log in again.

Enhanced Detail when an upload fails and notification of upload failure sends out.
When an email upload fails, there is no level of detail associated with the notification sent from Box. It would be extremely helpful to be notified of exactly which upload or folder location of the failure that occured.

Enable HTML Rendering in Box Mobile
Box Mobile should support HTML rendering, consistent with the Box web experience.
Without mobile rendering, users must download files, open another application, or wait until they can access a desktop browser.

Please improve the Box app for iPhone/iPad so that the "Home Page" setting

Allow Box AI for Hubs to scope responses to the current Hub page or selected Hub pages
We would like Box AI for Hubs to support scoping AI responses not only to the entire Hub, but also to the current Hub page or selected Hub pages/subpages.
Box AI for Hubs is very useful because users can ask questions across the content in a Hub. However, when a Hub is organized into multiple pages by department, business process, project, topic, or chapter, users often want to ask questions only about the content on the page they are currently viewing.

Request to Make Service Accounts Created During Box Automate Use Easier to Identify
When a workflow is created and saved in Box Automate, a service account is created (e.g., InternalPlatformUser1234567ABCDEFGHIJ@boxdevedition.com).
However, at present, it is difficult to determine whether this account was created as part of using Box Automate, making it hard to distinguish it from a suspicious user that may have been created maliciously.

Allow Box AI Home Global Agent to take the same actions as Box MCP (i.e. feature/permission parity)
Currently, Box MCP (with Claude/ChatGPT/etc) can create, rename, move folders and files in Box, and many other things. It would be good to be able to accomplish the same simply by instructing Box AI (via Box AI Home, or the Box AI Agent step in Box Automate).

Allow api.box.com in Box Connectors for HTTPS Request steps in Automate workflows
Please allow the HTTPS Request step in Box Automate to make requests to the Box API (api.box.com).
There are many things not currently supported natively by Box Automate steps which could be solved if the HTTPS Request step/outcome were allowed to consume the Box API.

- get file EXIF data from Box representations API
