Ability for end users (non admins) to adjust metadata
As Box is evolving more into metadata driven workflows for digital asset library use cases, we need the ability for end users (non admins) to be able to adjust metadata templates specific to their use case or business unit. For example, we'd like to have a champion from Marketing be able to adjust JUST the metadata templates specific to their group, not any metadata templates related to Legal or Sales.

Automatically Transfer Content when Deleting a User
Provide the ability to automatically transfer any owned content from a user, when deleting, to a consistent account (e.g., our Box Admin account), so that deprovisioning of licenses can be seamlessly done using AD groups. This will take out the scripting and automation on your customers side and ensure the security of the account.

Native Google File Upload
Allow users to easily upload content that lives in Google (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Slides) to Box through the UI. This would allow users to analyze, search, and expand on their Google content in Box Hubs and Box AI.

I would like to add a [Block all integrations] option to the content read restrictions for integrations.
Adding [Specify content read restrictions on integrations.] under [Integration Restriction] in Shield access policies is an excellent update from a data protection perspective.
However, under the current specifications, it is not possible to block all integrations. Since the remaining risk that data may be read by even some integrations is unacceptable from a security standpoint, this ultimately hinders the enablement and adoption of AI. The download restrictions under the same [Integration Restriction] include a [Block all integrations] option, so it is puzzling that the read restrictions do not.
I would like to request the addition of a [Block all integrations] option to the read restrictions as well.（日本語）

"RemoveMake Primary" should be "Remove/Make Primary"
When I tried to change my billing credit card, I fould the word "RemoveMake Primary" which is linked in blue. In clicking on the word several times, I found out that there are two links one is the link to remove and the other is to make primary. I think the word should be "Remove/Make Primary" in order to make those two functions distinct.

Delete developer app authorization in the Admin Console
It would be helpful to add the ability to delete (server) App Authorization without being required to contact support. Currently when in the Admin Console > Integrations > Platform Apps Manager > View > Delete App, it will pull up a message requiring Box Support to be contacted to remove the App Authorization. It would be nice to be able to do this without all the extra steps.

Resize Box AI Prompt Window
Customer would like the ability to resize the Box AI Prompt Window that opens. They use multiple monitors and screens, and need to resize it in order to effectively view the long responses coming back from AI.

Do not send notifications to group members when inviting a group to Hubs, as is the case when inviting a group to a folder.
Currently, when you invite a group to Box Hubs, all group members receive a notification.
However, if there are many group members, if all group members receive the email, it may violate some rules of Exchange Online.
Therefore, I would like to see an improvement so that notifications are not sent to group members when inviting a group to Hubs, as is the case when inviting a group to a folder.

Support for shared links in MCP
Add a shared link resolution tool to the Box MCP server that accepts a Box shared link URL and returns the corresponding file or folder ID and metadata. Shared links are the primary way our users share content in Box, and without this capability, an agent cannot act on a shared link that a user provides directly. Users share links with colleagues as a natural part of their workflow; they should be able to share them with an AI agent the same way.

With the current limitation that Copilot × Box integration is restricted to a 1:1 relationship, it is difficult to achieve both group-wide Copilot adoption and proper information governance.
Enabling secure integration with multiple Box environments while maintaining a single Microsoft tenant would unlock significant value, including group-wide AI utilization, greater flexibility for M&A and organizational restructuring, and the avoidance of unnecessary Box environment consolidation or Microsoft tenant separation.＜日本語＞

Allow a metadata field on a folder to trigger a Box Automation task to Box Task Owner when a select metadata is changed. Currently we are only able to trigger on files.

your AI bot has been a disaster for me today
I have been trying to get help for over an hour and chatting with the AI bot in your help section. I have been unable to access lost files which somehow disappeared from my account today. there was a Box reset and my computer restarted automatically over night and when i logged back in, the last ten days of data is gone! I am 100% certain the files were in Box as that is the only place i save my files and i have accessed them multiple times through Box over the last few weeks. Your BOT could not understand that and repeatedly went in circles. I understand it is a way for you to save money, however, I am a paying customer who lost extremely urgent files and needs help asap and you offer no assistance other than an AI bot. it is extremely sad and frustrating that this is what has happened in the technology world. Humans still need humans to help on occasion and this is one of those occasions. I hope someone actually reads this and understands what is missing in Box. Thank you, Daniel Samson

Please show only collaborators in the Box Notes mention suggestions.
When mentioning someone in Box Notes, users who are not included as collaborators are also displayed in the suggestion list. This makes it difficult to select the intended user and creates a risk of accidentally selecting someone unrelated.
As with other files, please limit the users displayed in the mention suggestion list to collaborators only.（日本語）

Add files to a specific section in a hub with Automate
The ability to add files to a specific page/section in a hub with the Automate Hub outcome. example. We have a policy hub with all published polices. a new version is going through an approval and when it is approved it should be added to one or more pages/sections in the hub. In a hub with the pages below the Travel and Expense policy should be added to three pages Recently Published, Browse by Department, All Polices

Allow scheduling of Folder Insights Reports
The ability to schedule the Folder Insights reports (Collaborations | Folder Activity | Shared Links) would open up greater reporting capability and remove manual work in generating these reports.
This is especially beneficial in enterprises where multiple agencies' content is stored, with different agencies having different reporting requirements (i.e. weekly auditing of external collaborators on their content)

Enhancing View Visibility with Text and Background Customization
I received feedback from a customer regarding improving visibility within views.
They specifically requested the following enhancements:
・Ability to adjust text size
・Ability to change text color
・Expanded background color palette, including darker color optionsThese improvements would allow users to better tailor the interface to their preferences and working environments (e.g., long working hours or dark mode setups).
In views with a high density of information, visibility directly impacts productivity, so we believe this would be a valuable enhancement.

Restore Version History button to main sidebar. It is one my most used features and I would like to have quicker access instead of having to access a sub-menu.

We would like to be able to stop email notifications for annotations on Box Notes and files.
Currently, when another user adds an annotation (without @mention) to a Box Note, an email notification is sent to the note owner even if email notifications are turned off in both the account and folder settings.
Also, when documents are created from Relay templates, annotations added to those copied documents trigger email notifications to the Relay workflow owner, even if they are not directly involved.
It would be very helpful if annotation notifications could (1) follow existing user/folder notification settings, and (2) be disabled or limited so that users do not receive large numbers of irrelevant emails (including those caused by Relay-generated files).
Box Notes やファイルに追加された注釈（メンションなし）について、メール通知を停止できるようにしてほしいです。
現在、アカウント設定とフォルダ設定の両方でメール通知をオフにしている場合であっても、他のユーザーがBox Noteに注釈を追加すると、@メンションされていない場合であっても、ノートの所有者にメール通知が送信されてしまいます。
また、Relayのテンプレートからドキュメントが作成された場合、コピーされたドキュメントに注釈が追加されると、直接関与していないRelayワークフローの所有者にもメール通知が送信されてしまいます。

Select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps
I would like the ability to select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps. For example, I may have a project folder with a metadata template cascading to all subfolders, but I only want to see content from 2 out of the 3 subfolders in the View.
