Please provide the option to omit the Signup and Login buttons for shared links (downloadable).
The presence of the Signup and Login buttons reduces the value of our Box.com account since the only way to circumvent the Box.com marketing fluff is to copy file from box to our CMS rather than just referencing our Box.com files. Expand Capabilities for Adding External Collaborators to Relay Tasks/Notifications
Currently, a user can only add an external collaborator to a Relay Task/Notification if the following are true -
- The user owns the content
- The user has added the external collaborator to content
- The user has to have less than 5,000 external collaborators on items they own
Many customers have a closed folder structure, where one admin user owns all content, so this admin user would be the only one who can create the workflow with external collaborators added to tasks/notifications. For large organizations especially, this is difficult to administer and maintain, so ideally even users who do not own…

We'd like to limit amount of metadata downloaded by folder GET operation
We upload one or more files daily to the same folder so the content list of this folder keeps growing. In order to upload first step is to GET the folder by id. This step (https://developer.box.com/reference/get-folders-id/) appears to download metadata of every file in the folder and there's no way to limit it. It ends up being completely unnecessary because preflight check (https://developer.box.com/reference/options-files-content) doesn't need any of it. So, there should be a parameter in folder GET to skip downloading so much metadata.

Large user lists don't load in Box Shuttle and there is no way to filter or narrow scope
Build an option to filter on specific source user groups or OU's before trying to generate or load the user list.
Current behavior: Admin account is authenticated and user list is not able to load/populate because there are too many users on the source side.

API- Developer token
Hi team, what would be great is to get the possibility when we develop an API to have a token valid for more than 60 minutes.
Sometimes, to validate the principle of a dev, it's needs more than 1h

Select user group on BOX Rleay's workflow
When creating a workflow using BOX Relay, groups cannot be set as recipients in the notification options. When notifying a large number of people, it is time-consuming to enter the address for each person, so it would be nice to be able to set groups.

Automatic Size All Columns to Fit for Box Drive
It would be great if all columns in the box drive could be automatically expanded so that file names are not cut off. This feature is available in another product that we used.

Do not create folder in "All Files" when a user already has access to a folder in higher hierarchy
Everytime a Box folder is added to a Microsoft Teams team using the box plugin, or a user is invited to a box folder, the according folder appears in All files. We have a large number of teams and a lot of projects, so "All files" gets messed up quite quick. Box and the box plugin should check if a user already has access to a folder in the higher hierarchy. In this case the folder should not appear separately in "All Files".

Change the target of "Application Restrictions" (shared link creation / DL, etc.)

Google Workspace - Add Collaborators/Check for Collaborators
The Google Workspace add-on only allows you to create a Shared Link to share files/folders, you cannot add/remove collaborators. It would be great to have the ability to add folks as collaborators, rather than just choosing from Shared Link settings. Additionally, it would be great if when sharing the file it could be recognized that recipients on the email and/or calendar invite do not have existing permissions to the file/folder (similar to what Google does.)

Having staggard jobs for high number of file transfer through box shuttle
Currently box shuttle does not give the option to run the job either by size of data transfer or number of files.
If we have the option to stagger the job by number of files or size or even system auto divides the job into sub jobs then data transfer can be even faster and more convenient to handle.

Privileged Identity Management
I would like to see the ability to apply PIM for Box Admin and Co-Admin roles; a mechanism whereby the Admin role is granted for a minimal amount of time based on the Just in Time principle.
We would like to see minimum privileges, minimum time, and consistent with the company's zero-trust strategy.

Retention policy details in the Trash UI
The Bin/Trash UI displays Retention policy details the first time you trash an item until you navigate away.
Ability to have this info visible at all times in Trash UI would be helpful to end users and admin rather than running reports to check status of a single file.14 votes -
Approval Result Email
The account that executed the trigger that started the BoxRelay will receive an email with the approval results of the relay, but we would like to limit the notification of the approval results.
(Ex. No email notification of approval results during the flow, only the final results are emailed, etc.)3 votes -
Hide older versions from certain collaborator levels
When you share a file/folder with another user, no matter what permission level you give them they are able to see all older versions. It would be great if we could hide those from lower level collaborators like you can do with comments.

SSO Break Glass Account
I have a customer that recently let their SSO certificate expire and when they tried to fix the problem they were completely locked out of their account and were not able to go in and resolve it themselves. They went to support who was ultimately able to help them, but not before a LOT of escalations. The customer stated that other online systems offer a special "break glass" administrative account that when logging in to the system can bypass SSO to get into the account and resolve whatever issue that needs to be resolved.
