Support Document Tabs in Google Docs.
I am a heavy user of Document Tabs [1] to help with my productivity and organization when using Google Docs.
However, if I create a Google Doc from Box or if I save my Google Doc from Google Drive into Box, the document tabs that I use are removed and the document tab feature is disabled. Because I don't have this feature, I am avoiding the creation of my Google Docs and storing my Google Docs in Box because it is causing a major disruption to my productivity.

We want to enable a custom app partially by specifying users/groups
A feature has been released for integrated apps that allows you to partially enable them by specifying groups or users, but we would like a similar feature for custom apps.

Disable all notifications for an integration/custom app
Rather than having to disable notifications by passing the specific header, we would like to disable notifications for an application completely by using a toggle or application scope.

In Box Shield, there is a case where it is not possible to mark a file as safe.
Currently, when the “Malicious Content” setting in Box Shield is disabled in the owner’s tenant but enabled in the tenant of the user performing the action, if content is detected as malicious, the detected file does not appear on the owner’s dashboard and cannot be marked as safe. As a result, the corresponding alert cannot be cleared, which leads to a situation where the file cannot be used in Box. If the file needs to be used, it must be exchanged outside of Box. We would like to request a feature enhancement to address this.
現状、所有者側のテナントでBox Shieldの「悪意のあるコンテンツ」を無効化しており、操作を行ったユーザーが所属しているテナントが「悪意のあるコンテンツ」を有効化しているときに悪意のあるコンテンツとして検知されると所有者側のダッシュボードには検知されたファイルが表示されず、安全なファイルとしてマークすることができない。
それにより、該当アラートを削除することができないため、該当ファイルをBoxにて使用することができない状況が発生する。
対象ファイルを使用したい場合、Box以外の場所でやり取りを行う必要が発生してしまうため、機能改善を要望する。1 vote -
Add Content-Disposition to Access-Control-Expose-Headers
The Download endpoint returns a content-disposition header with file name however Content-Disposition is not part of the Access-Control-Expose-Headers, therefore the file name cannot be derived by frontend javascript applications.
Adding Content-Disposition to Access-Control-Expose-Headers will allow frontend applications to access the file name of the content.

Matching display with Box Notes shared link settings
If the Admin Console [Shared Link Permissions] is set to type "File: Can view and download" and type "Box Notes: Can view and edit",
Depending on where you create a Box Notes shared link, the settings and permissions displayed do not match.This is the current specification.Created a shared link from a file list: The permission "View only" is displayed because the type is "File", but it can be edited.
Creating a shared link from the Box Notes share button: The "Can edit" permission is displayed to refer to the type "Box Notes".We feel that this specification causes confusion for users by displaying different permissions on the folder screen and on the Box Notes file.
In fact, some of our users were confused by the display inconsistency, thinking that Box Notes could only be viewed, when in fact they could be shared in an editable state.
Experiences like this give users the impression that Box is difficult to use.
We are promoting the use of Box, and this inconsistent UI goes against that effort.
From a security standpoint, it is not desirable for the actual settings to differ from what is displayed.
It is also possible that the content may remain editable without the user intending to do so.We would like to ask you to unify the display of shared link permissions on file lists and Box Notes files so that they match the actual permission settings, allowing users to understand accurate information.
We believe that this improvement will improve the user experience and contribute to more efficient operations.Box Notesの共有リンク設定と表示を一致させる

このような経験は、ユーザーにとってBoxが使いにくいという印象を与えてしまいます。

Accessing Box files in Office apps with passcode enabled（iOS）
The Files App + Box integration does not support the app-specific password at this time, so we cannot reach Box from the Office apps.
A workaround is to disable the passcode, but this is not advisable as it reduces the security level of your device.
Employees who do not have PCs and work outside the office cannot use the system, which is causing disruption to work.パスコードが有効な状態でOfficeアプリでBoxファイルにアクセスしたい（iOS）

Onboarding Checklist and Progress Tracking Features in Box Hubs
We’d like to use Box Hubs as an onboarding site for new employees, where they can follow a to-do list to get started. When someone joins our company, there’s a lot of information to learn, including various IT tools and internal policies, and training them on all this takes a lot of time. Most of this info already exists in Box, so by putting it into a centralized Hub, we could build an effective onboarding resource. However, right now, there’s no way to track which onboarding tasks each person has completed. If Box Hubs had a feature where users could check off each task as they go, and administrators could see at a glance who has finished which items, it would make the onboarding process much smoother and encourage more people to use the Hubs.

Adding Tags in Box Relay
Users should have the ability to apply tags based on dynamic workflow inputs through Box Relay.

Multi-tenant support for Box Graph Connector
It is a very common configuration to have a single Microsoft 365 tenant and a multi-tenant Box, but the Box Graph Connector is only available for one Box tenant.

Ability to disable file preview in Box for Slack integration
Whenever I share or hyperlink a Box link in Slack, it automatically attaches a Box preview card. This clutters messages and isn’t always necessary. Could you please check whether Box’s Slack integration settings allow us to disable or limit automatic link previews? This does not seem to be a feature I can disable on my account alone.
According to Box documentation, this can be managed from the Box Admin Console → Apps → Slack Integration Settings, by disabling “Automatic link previews in Slack.”
We would like to be able to be able to individually disable the file preview.

Ability to sort external users on the users page by column headers
I would like the ability to sort the External Users by column, I'm not sure what order they are listed but would love to be able to sort by name or any of the other columns

Show collaboration folder path for External users
When we look at external users, now we can see a folder that they are collaborators in but we cannot see the path to it nor can we navigate to that folder. Can that functionality be added so we can more easily see what folders are shared and what is in them?

transfer administrator role
As the administrator of the BOX account for the Restless Legs Foundation, and due to my departure from the board, I would like to transfer my administrator role to my successor.
I've completed the steps outlined under role transfer, but then receive an error message during verification:
• You do not have permission to confirm this administrator transfer.
• You cannot confirm the administrator transfer. Log out and try again after logging in as an administrator.I don't understand what this means. I'm logged in with my email account and password, in the admin console, and yet this message appears.
What's wrong?

We would like to enhance the precision of exact match searches.
Even when using double quotation marks (““), the search results ignore case sensitivity. Additionally, if spaces or symbols (!#/, etc.) are included within the quotes, they are ignored instead of performing an exact match.
For example, when I enter "Customer Support", the search results include "customer support" and "CUSTOMER SUPPORT". Similarly, when I enter "Customer/Support", the same results are displayed.

完全一致検索で二重引用符 (““)を使っているのに中の語句が大文字小文字関係なく検索結果に出てしまう。
また、二重引用符 (““)の中の言葉に空白スペースを入れた場合や記号(!#/など）を入れた場合、完全一致ではなく無視されてしまう。例："Customer Support”と入力した場合、検索結果に「customer support」や「CUSTOMER SUPPORT」という結果が混ざる。

locked pdf files can be overwrote from web based pdf viewer
When you fill out a pdf form in the pdf web viewer you are able to bypass the lock and save the filled out form overtop of the locked pdf. This seems like a design flaw since it allows users to overwrite pdf templates with forms data. I would like to see the lock functionality extended to include pdf’s opened with the web app.

ChatGPT connector
Current customer using the ChatGPT plug in with Box and need to prevent the ChatGPT API from triggering a piece of content download notification to the owner of the file or folder. Would there be a way to get the text rep without it being treated as a download, or a way to exclude certain actions from the notification stream?
