Sharing within Parent folders
I need to manage collaborators within a Parent folder, can you please enable this feature, many people are using Box drive as a file server and this will help us manage Freelancers very well.

When saving a file or creating a new folder can the name start to auto-fill?
It would be great when saving a file or creating a folder the name would start to auto-fill to help with naming consistencies.

Why we don't have options to pause and resume particular item/all items while uploading
It would be good to pause and resume the item(s) while uploading and it helps a lot to give priority at basic level.

Option for Shared Link Restriction on new links only
We would like the option to apply the shared link restriction to "new links only" so that current links are not overwritten. This would be similar to the External Collaboration Restriction option to apply to "only new external collaborations"

Native Finder-search (MacOS) is mandatory
from your own web-page:
https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695774-Mac-Specific-Known-Issues-for-Box-Drive"Mac search tools, such as Spotlight, Finder search, tags , do not return search results from Box Drive. Use Box Drive's search functionality instead."
Box Drive is not fit for purpose, since it forces every single file-search in the user's home directory to be executed twice:
- once in the home directory
- then again using Box spotlight search
- then put the 2 Finder windows side by side and do a manual inventory - unbelievable
I frequently search my home directory. The poor search functionality is a major miss, affects my work badly
Please look to Google Drive functionality which is far superior in every way that I can see
If there's a fix on the cards within the next quarter I can overlook it. With immediate effect, I will be using Box as little as possible, and that might expand to never using Box other than when I absolutely have no option other than to browse, navigate, drag/drop a folder

Box is blocking PSD and PNG files embedded in PDF files. The PDF will be uploaded, but the space where the PSD or PNG file should be is blank.

Display Tags under favourites
Users are unable to see tags when clicking on favourites in the new UI.
Tags have been replaced with the folder path. Tags are visible under the favourites section only in the old UI.
Could please make the tags visible when clicking on favourites in the new UI? Many Thanks3 votes -
Box drive sync problem items path
Please add paths to problem items. In the Problem items box, which shows which folders could not be updated, folders are listed without the paths. So, when multiple folders are named the same thing in different trees, it is impossible to locate which folders are having the problem. I am using the most recent version of Box Drive on Mac.

A feature that allows the user who sent the message by "Send Shared Link
Share > Shared Link - Send Shared Link "ON" > Messages (optional)
A feature that allows the user who sent this to check the messages sent in the past.
e.g. The message is output to the report.Currently, there is no corresponding feature, so we are thinking of adding my own (sender's) email address to the recipient.

Disable a folder from update
As Owner I should be able to make a specific folder readonly so that collaborators don't modify any content or add new content.

My Box Drive application has taken All Or Nothing, to literal.
I work for a national firm that produces hundreds of work folders daily, in retrospect I am assigned to 4 weekly. The Sync option through the Box Sync application allowed me and other users access to specific files on their laptops without being overwhelmed by the company's very long list. Assigned folders were Synced and then managed on laptops using the File Explorer. Which made working with these files very efficient.
Currently, there is no option for me to selectively access my assignment folders on my laptop without searching for them specifically in the growing listing of company-wide folders.
Is there anything I can do to improve efficiency here (major bottle neck)?
Is this a possible feature we can replicate from Box Sync?I work for a national firm that produces hundreds of work folders daily, in retrospect I am assigned to 4 weekly. URGENT | Warnings on breaching Box's recommended limits
Hi Team,
I would like to have a UI Notification implemented in Box, which would warn the user when they reach the Box's recommended limits with respect to
1. items per folder
2. total items per user
3. collaborators per folder.1 vote -
Receive Email Notification if Report Times Out
Currently, reports initiated in Box can timeout or 10 million records or exceeds 12 hours to generate. The user does not receive any notification should this happen to know that report will not be received.
Enhancement request would be for the user to receive email notification that report timed out.

folder report
When running the folder/file report, provide a way to include ONLY the subfolders and not the files. Sometimes we need only the subfolder details and not the actual files in each subfolder.

Ability to remove collections from mobile
Ability to remove collection on mobile
Mobile Application doesn't allow users to remove collection. Users need to remove it from Box WebApp at this moment. It would be better to remove it within the mobile application.

Downloading from websites.
There should be a direct way to download a webpage into Box. I can directly download into Google Drive but not Box. Box requires a 2-step process. First I need to download to my device and then I can upload to Box.

Open internet shortcut files in the device browser
In Dropbox, when tapping on an internet shortcut file it would open up the link in the device's default browser. In Box it can't open it at all. Would be nice if it did!

UAR
When running a UAR from Admin Console, I think it would be very helpful if either on row 1, or perhaps in its own sheet of the resulting excel report, to include a summary or quick SQL-type list of what parameters were used to run that report. This would cut down back and forth in some cases on troubleshooting whether the person who generated the report did or did not include the correct date range, actions, User/Content IDs, etc, to resolve these issues quicker.

select default name for auto uploads from mobile
When images are uploaded from my phone to Box, they are named IMG_12345.JPG. I'd like to have the date in the file name (this is the setting for Sync.com uploads, and if I recall correctly last I used it, Dropbox.com).
Ideally, users would be able to choose their desired naming structure but datetime would still be a big improvement over a sequential number.
Thanks,
