Integrated Chat Functionality (Native to Box)
Our audience is mostly external partners, all who use disparate communication platforms like Slack, Teams, Google Chat, Zoom, etc. Integrating a single third-party chat option into our Box Hubs environment risks alienating some of our external partners who are unable to use that specific platform due to their organization’s IT guidelines. It would be beneficial to have a native, lightweight and persistent chat area within our Box Hubs environment (maybe as a side panel similar to Box AI) that would allow users to communicate immediately about content and projects and ask questions without having to leave the Box environment.

Ability to change and update assignee on expired tasks
We would like to see an improvement so that it is possible to delete and update users from "Modify Task" even for expired tasks.
For expired tasks, pressing "Update" from "Change Task" will not respond, and the task cannot be edited.
It is inconvenient not to be able to edit or update tasks, as tasks cannot be marked as completed when unauthorized users are absent due to leaving the company or being transferred.
Also, although it is possible to update a task by extending its deadline, I would like to keep a history of when the task was created.

User Offboarding (File/Folder Moves)
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the user offboarding process. When we delete a user, it would be very helpful to have more granular control over where that user’s files and folders are moved within the tenant. This way we can choose someone and then maybe a subfolder they want the data placed in.
Specifically, having the option to:
- Choose the destination folder for the disabled user’s content.
- Include checkbox option to include trash bin contents along with the rest of their files.This would make the offboarding process more efficient and ensure nothing is overlooked.

Add a "View All Tasks" button to the left menu
To view all tasks, you need to press the clipboard icon and then select "View All Tasks."
It takes two clicks each time, which is very time-consuming.
I would like you to add it to the left menu so that I can check all tasks with a single click.

External Users sortable columns and bulk deletion based on last active date
Box makes it easier thru the Admin console GUI in the near future.
For External Users a sortable column of “Last Active” and then bulk deletion is needed in the Admin GUI.It would also be nice to have the option in Security to set a threshold like 90 days inactive for External Users before auto-delete to manage this automatically going forward.

Added annotation function to the BoxNotes preview screen
This is a request for a preview screen that appears when the BoxNotes URL is changed from "notes" to "file."
When reviewing the text and inserted images in a created Note, the annotation function cannot be used, making it difficult to request corrections by pointing out specific parts.To streamline file reviews, please make the annotation feature available in BoxNotes as well.
A good place to place the annotation function is on the text written or on the inserted image in the BoxNotes preview screen.

Ability to keep recent updates highlighted
In a shared Box Note, any new updates are highlighted, but once I review the notes and navigate away from the page, the highlights disappear. I know there's a toggle at the top to turn highlights off and on, but can there be a way to keep new updates highlighted until i'm ready to turn them off; regardless if I navigate away from the page. Just to give an example, someone added and edited a bunch of new information to my box note. So much so, there was too many for me to review and address. I went away from…

Add additional file attribute filters when viewing files
Currently there are only 3 file filter attributes. (Name, Updated, Size) Would like to add additional file details to the UI. For example, if a file is received via File Request and file description is enabled, have that available for view right on the screen instead of having it to hover the "i" icon to view the details

Notification for reading text over 2MB with AI
Please make it so that a notification appears when loading text larger than 2MB in Box AI.
When the text is over 2MB, the necessary information may not be fully read, resulting in incomplete responses and potentially acquiring incorrect information.-in Japanese-

Change the warning message when external users change their password.
The new feature "Enable detection of confirmed leaked passwords" has been applied.
If an invited external user does not meet the password criteria, they will be required to change their password.
When entering a new password, if the password does not meet the requirements, a message will appear stating "Password was exposed in a data breach"
This message is confusing as it misleadingly suggests that a data breach has occurred on the tenant's side.
Therefore, please change it to something appropriate, such as "The password you entered is weak, please make it more complex."

SFTP authentication method using a key pair.
Please allow Box to use a key pair as an SFTP authentication method as an alternative to a username and password. Not all systems allow files to be sent via SFTP using a username/password. Thanks.

Box Shield label error notification
When there is an error to labelling Box Shield label there is no way for the user to know where there was an error or not unless looking at each content one by one.

Pop up message when users try to move Large folders to a trash
Hi Could you consider displaying a pop-up message when users try to move a lot of contents to a trash?
Currently, a pop up message appears when large folders are moved to oher folders. But no message appears when a user tries to move contents to a trash.

Python in Excel while stored on Box
I would like to be able to use Microsoft Excel's new implementation of Python.
I have been told that Python in Excel can only be used on content stored in "secure container[s] on the Microsoft Cloud", such as OneDrive, Azure, Sharepoint, and other Microsoft proprietary resources.
Can Box work with Microsoft to support this feature?

access Deny Authority
The permissions of the parent folder are inherited by the subordinate folder, but I want to be able to add a setting to deny access only to specific users or groups in the subordinate folder. Or I want to be able to set the permission settings so that they are not inherited by subordinates. This is a function that can be realized with existing file servers.

I can't go back from the collaborator list
When viewing the list of collaborators for a folder, it is not possible to return to the folder screen.

Importing data using Box Shuttle via an SFTP share link
We are provided access to data stored in external customers archives via FTP/SFTP credentials which we need to migrate into Box.
It would be great to be able to migrate this data directly into box using Box Shuttle.
Would it be possible to add SFTP as one of the pick options on the source system screen in Shuttle when creating a new Job where we could add in URL, Username, Password, Port, etc?
