Enhancing MIP Integration: Applying DLP Policy Controls to Box Drive Access
We use Microsoft's MIP integration (DLP policy application).
Currently, DLP policy controls are not applied when opening from Box Drive.
This makes MIP integration pointless and poses security problems.
It is desirable for DLP policy controls to be applied even when opening from Box Drive.<MIP

Sheild > [Download and Print Restriction], if "For Box Desktop" is enabled, the Office co-editing function should be available via a browser
Sheild > [Download and Print Restriction], if "For Box Desktop" is enabled, the Office co-editing function should be available via a browser.
We have applied Box Shield's [Download and Print Restriction] to "For Box Desktop" and [Microsoft Office Coauthoring Basics] via browser is also disabled.
Microsoft Office Coauthoring Basics] via a browser is also disabled.
Similarly, Office co-editing functions that are opened via a browser should not be restricted, since access in BoxEdit is not restricted.
Errors in opening the file in the browser cause confusion for the user.
Also, please add the following explanation to the Access Policy Settings…30 votes -
Enable vertical resizing of the prompt input field (keep the default single-line view)
Editing long prompts is cumbersome when the input area can’t expand; many of us draft in an external editor and paste the text back. Keeping the default single-line view is fine, but please allow vertical resizing of the input field as needed.
This change would:
• Preserve the current UI
• Significantly improve readability and efficiency for long-prompt editing
• Increase overall product value by boosting user satisfaction and retentionIf you agree, please show your support with an upvote (👍).

Tasks are visually cluttered by the bolded, capitalized document names. The task should be bolded and capitalized, not the document.
The document from which the task arises is bolded and in all caps while the task itself is in normal, non-bolded font. This should be flip-flopped so the eye is drawn to the task, not the document.

Organize Folders that are shared with me
I use box drive on Mac and my main finder window is cluttered with folders that have been shared with me and there is no way for me to organize these folders. I have 50 folders that I use maybe once a year in the same spot as a folder that I use every day. Being able to rehome those folders off of the main screen would be a huge plus.
Currently it feels like a messy desktop that I have no control over.

view multiple files offline with ios and ipados
Surely the team is aware of this: when an iPad or iPhone is offline (e.g. in airplane mode), attempting to view a file (e.g. a pdf) downlooaded via "make available offline" hangs indefinitely. If the file is opened while online, and then the device becomes offline, no problem. This means that only one file can be accessed for the duration of the offline period.
Please raise the priority for fixing this.

Ability to add a photo uploaded to a form directly into a doc gen document instead of just separate files.

is there a way to auto populate a metadata attributes such as employee name from a csv list or automatically from the box users?
It would be nice if we could populate or employee name attribute list from either a csv file of usernames or directly from the usernames in the admin console.

AI units insights
Add enhanced reporting capabilities to the admin console that provide more granular and visual data on AI Units consumption patterns - instead of just a number on the insights. Having the just the tile with the overall number on the insights makes it difficult to track and manage my AI units efficiently.
I would like to have:
Graphical representation of AI Units consumed
Daily breakdown of consumption data
Ability to identify workflows causing usage spikes or dips
On-demand access to usage insights2 votes -
Generating/Copying-to-clipboard multiple shared links at once through file explorer
Egnyte, one of Box's competitors, gives users the ability to select multiple documents in file explorer to then generate their respective shared links all at once. These links (and the document titles) are then copied to the clipboard and can thus be easily distributed.

Bulk Extract Metadata in WebApp
Currently, it is only possible to use AI metadata extract on single files in a Box App. We would like to be able to extract metadata from multiple selected files instead of only one.

Use file level metadata to generate a document using doc gen and relay
Currently we can use metadata applied to a folder to populate a document using relay and doc gen. It would be much more helpful to use metadata from a file to build the document. In our use of metadata, rarely will two documents in the same folder have the same metadata throughout the entire template.

Visible labels for radio buttons in signature documents
Currently radio buttons don't show what value is assigned to each button. Clearly, this is designed so that the buttons can be placed next to options in the source document, but it would be nice if there was an option to display those labels rather than hide them. (and yes, if you hover over a button long enough, it will show you the value, but this is not intuitive, takes a couple of seconds to show up, and is tiny font)

Mark documents for admin to delete
For users that do not have admin contorl and do not have the ability to delete files themsleves, should instead have the ability to mark a document for deletion. It should send a notificaiton to the admin that they can click on and be taken right to the document that needs to be deleted.
As of right now I have to email my admin to delete unwanted files.

Increase collaboration invitation limit for Hubs beyond 500
Hubs owners/coowners can only invite 500 individual collaborators to a Hub. This poses a challenge for customers who have restrictive external collaboration settings that prevent the creation of public shared links, and need to provide access to external users via invitations to collaborate on files/folders. This limit needs to be increased (or eliminated) to support large enterprises with more restrictive security settings. Leveraging Groups is not a good alternative for users who primarily intend to use Hubs for external collaboration.

Streamline process for inviting free users to Hubs
If a customer has restricted users' ability to create public shared links, they can only invite external users to Hubs if they already have a Box account. It would be ideal if this process worked the same way as it does if you invite an external user to a file/folder, where they are prompted to create a Box account (free or otherwise) and can then view the Hub. This adds friction into the process for users that are leveraging Box for external collaboration.
