where and how to mention the file download location in users hard disc? Please hardcode the user preferred location.
while downloading a file . why cant you provide the full code. Incase of download, the code should be in such a way that after copy pasting your samples i should be able to see the file downloaded in the location i mentioned.

My company Box users are having a hard time organizing files/folders shared with them. It means, if there are 100 files/folders shared with an user, all the shared files/folders show in the user's Box account. Which interferes with the user's personal files/folders which the user would like to access more frequently without having to browse through a list of shared files/folders. That being said, it would be nice to be able to move the shared content into a shared folder or being able to organize the folders based on our own convinience.

Update folder metadata
I am not able to get complete documentation on Updating folder metadata action for the Box API. Based on the examples I see online, there seems to be body parameter information missing from the box.dev site, and the documentation on the developer.box.com API Reference site is mostly blank.

Shared Links Only Accessible in "Trusted" Locations
I would kindly like to request that BOX add a feature where we can restrict shared links by the location they are accessed from. For example, if we share a link we want to be able to restrict access to only people in the USA. This feature will add an additional layer of security and help keep collaboration more compliant. Please add.

Use file size limits of Box Enterprise account when free users edit/upload to enterprise folders
Ability for free/lite users who are external collaborators in a folder to edit/upload content into a managed folder, even if the file size is above the free/lite limit. For example: Company A has an enterprise Box license and Company B does not, but uses free/lite accounts to collaborate in folders with Company A. When Company B needs to collaborate/edit large files in Company A’s folder, they can only do so if the size of the file is below the free/lite account limit. ITAR Support for Box Notes
Currently, if we need to be ITAR compliant, we are unable to utilize Box Notes. I realize this would require a backend modification, but it would be great if we could utilize Box Notes and remain ITAR/EAR Compliant.

Add "SSO Discovery Service Page" as a standard feature in Box login flow
We have 5 ID Providers. Box proposed "SSO Discovery Service" to connect 5-IdPs and a Box tenant. But "Discovery Service" needs to build a public web site. We cannot build that site because of their security policy. Please prepare discovery page as a standard feature in Box login flow.

Improve Box notes sharing and Home page
Box @ IBM is easily my most used and least liked product at work. The link sharing is a horrible experience. Everyone in the company disses Box's link protection. Enabling Link Expiration by default on the shared links is the worst idea and the product manager that approved this feature should dogfood features before subjecting customers to its horrid UX. I can't easily drag drop files like in Google Drive, the home page I land is useful in 0.01% of the cases. Usually I easily spend upwards of 5 minutes just looking for files. Daily / Weekly / Monthly snapshots of all the enterprise data, so that pilot errors can be recovered.

I would like to be able to set aliases on my favorites instead of having folder name only.
My naming convention may be different from the (owner's) directory structure, showing aliases (and real folder information) in the favorites would improve search, data retrieval and folder sorting.

Display email address of sender for files uploaded through email to folder
When using email to folder in Box, the "user" shows whatever name another company set up for that external email address. An example is service@ringcentral.com - the uploader shows as "Fax in Rehabco 2" which means nothing to us - it is apparently something set up by another Box company. It should display the actual email address instead.

Change the Box Logo
A box logo can’t be made of a cute font.
It should be boxy. Sharp angles. Makes sense.This is my interpretation to the box;

Box Tools install to be shown as "Box Edit" instead of "Box Tools"
While I understand the Box Tools installer also contains the Box Local Com Server application, it is there to support Box Edit so labeling the entire installation more explicitly as Box Edit, instead of Box Tools, will be more clear.

Hide admins/co-admins and owners/co-owners from collaborators
We would like a way to hide owners/co-owners, or potentially admins/co-admins, from the default view of collaborators on the right side preview panel.
We have a closed folder structure where admins & co-admins own content. Due to this. anytime a user is pre-viewing content in the webapp, the quick list of collaborators on the right hand panel shows the admins and doesn’t show other editors in the folder. This makes it difficult for them to quickly assess who is part of the folder without clicking into the collaborator view, since it always shows the admins/co-admins (owners/co-owners) by default. Right now, there is no way to tell who is enabling or disabling notification settings by accident (rather than managing their own user level notifications).
