Remove / Hide avatars when editing a box note
When editing a Box Note, there is an avatar with my initials that jumps around to wherever my cursor is. I find it very distracting and quite annoying. I can't think of any possible benefit to having this bouncing ball showing me that I'm editing the note. I kind of already know that. If others are editing the same note, it shows that, too. Maybe that's of some limited use, although I don't know what I'd do with that information, other than once again be distracted from what I'm trying to do. So anyway, it'd be great if there were…

Share this Folder
On a shared (collaborated) folder ensure that the "Share this Folder" option is removed from all external collaborators as testing has shown that it is possible for an external collaborator (even with viewer permissions) to enable sharing and get a copy of the shared link albeit the link defaults to “internal access” only.
3 votesThanks for the feedback. Per our collaborator permission guidelines, Viewer permissions are able to see and send view-only shared links — however they cannot invite collaborators or modify sharing permissions.

We need a way to administratively remove ALL instances of the per-user installs
We need a way to administratively remove ALL instances of the per-user installs, without resorting to the a VBS login script. In many cases, there are profiles on machines for users that no longer exist, they won’t ever log in to run the per-user removal script.

Folder Activation on a future date
Folder activation on Set future date.
We use Box.com to share fiiles/folders with our internal team and with some external partners, and there is a way to make folders delete on a specified date so the content is no longer available... however, it would be helpful to be able to build a folder that is hidden from site and then set a date on when it becomes active and can be viewed. This would be very helpful for our team as we have content/information that we want to be available on a specific date but making sure someone loads it…

Create log out protocols for Box Drive
Allow for an Admin to create protocols that will require users in Box Drive to have to login again after a predetermined amount of time.

Hide pull down menu of file name in Embed Widget
Wen user preview a file, pull down menu of file name will be displayed. If an administrator would like users not to see filename due to security reasons, hide option is needed.

Ability to Initiate Custom CLI Scripts from Admin Console
Admin/Co-Admin Only Function.
For co-admins -This could be added as an optional setup parameter. Scope would be user administration and custom reporting. A user defined menu to initiate "batch job " . Japanese Metadata values are not fully indexed
You have to fully match the values in order to search for the file. This affects files indexed by Box Skills unsearchable

Allow someone to customize their Feed to either follow or unfollow users. Sometimes I don't want to see everyones activity
The Feed page gets so busy sometimes that I never bother really looking at it to make it useful. I would much rather prefer to follow only those users who are on my Team or in my Department. So, being able to "follow" users or groups seems more beneficial.

Group permissions allowed using auto-start template with Box Relay
Our use case requires that group permissions be allowed when using auto-start template with Box Relay. As of right now it only allows for a direct permissions to a folder before publishing the workflow.
4 votesAll enhancements and new features will be considered as part of the all new Relay planned for GA on June 26, 2019.

Allow Box sync in Server version OS
Since there are a lot of application that rely on UNC path, and are run in server, supporting box sync in server version will be very userful.

Support Microsoft linking
Formulas referencing external source files are used in Excel models and when linking Excel to PowerPoint. The ability to change data in a source file and have the updated data flow through to any/all linked files stored in different locations does not work.
The ”updating links” function does not work as the formulas are not referencing the source file in Box Cloud, but instead are mapped to a temp copy on the local machine

Get a Link in Microsoft Teams integration
Playing with Microsoft Teams, I discovered that for files stored in the generic/default section of Teams, you can "Get a link" to copy the hyperlink for the file to your clipboard. When I add the integrated Box storage feature, though, files there do not offer the "Get a link" option. It really needs it, otherwise convenience will steer people to NOT use Box for storage.

Box Community Username Creation
This is just a small nuisance, but when logging into Box Community, the site takes credentials from whatever user you are logged in as in other tabs. Including any users that you're logged in under the admin console with. It often asks you to create a username as the user has not created a box community username. Additionally, are no options to view what email address it's asking to create a username with. More often than not we end up creating a bogus username just to get the thing to go away, as the end user would rather approach us…

Open With option for G-Suite with .doc or .xls files
Allow users to utilize Box for G-Suite with older Office File types, such as .doc or .xls files.

Fix blurred text when zoomed in on browser
I'm always at 110% zoom on Box in my web browser because it's much easier to see the text that way. But, I've noticed pretty much all the text looks a little blurry, especially when opening a dropdown menu or popup window, and mousing over a button. Could you please fix this and make the web browser app more responsive?
