We'd like to run a report on a certain folder which details the modification dates and timestamps on all of the contents within that folder
Looks like this data is captured in version history on the specific files but was not able to pull a report of all date/time stamp for modification of all files within a folder.

We request to change Box Drive feature as to also add (1) on the tail
The current feature of duplicated file name on Box Drive is to add email address on the end of file name and on Box Edit, a number with parenthesis- (1),(2) will be added.

Add ability to specify Home Page, just like WebApp.
Users want to have ability to specify the default page iOS App would show when App is launched.
Ideally, it would be ideal, if there's an option to choose whether to act the same way as user configures on WebApp. (i.e. if Favorites is chosen in WebApp, it'll show Favorites on iOS App too.)1 voteThis is a very interesting idea, however we have no current plans to allow users to specify the home screen on the mobile apps.

User activity report - for file move/ copy event, display full path to show where the files are originated from
For file move/ copy activity on User Activity report. "Detail" tab would show the name of the parent folder on where the file is from. "Parent Folder" tab would show the full path of destination.
If parent folder could also display in full path, intuitively it is easier for the admin to understand where the files are moved from and to.

Error notification of Box Drive should be restricted only be related to files which the user has accessed or edited before.
Or implement a new setting. Or implement a new setting to switch on/off to receive the error notifications.

Ability to limit shared link access to a folder at the folder settings level
Currently there is a setting that allows you to limit a folder to collaborators only. The additional setting to limit the settings for access to people in the company or higher at the folder settings level would provide more granular control.

Be able to have the folders which are shared with other collaborators "invisible" in Drive.
In Box Drive UI, a user cannot distinguish whether the folder is collaborated with "Other company's user" or not. This may cause accidental info leak.
In order to avoid those information leaking, we want to have those folders "invisible" on Box Drive in advance.

Pinch zoom on preview
The only way to zoom into the doc is to either use the buttons below or use pinch zoom. When pinch zoom is initiated, it zooms into the web page rather than into the doc, thus creating a pixelated image.
Request: Integrate pinch zoom natively into the web app

Allow admin to set the number of times an external collaborator can attempt login
Allow the admin to be able to set the number of times an external user can attempt to log into the enterprise account to prevent undesired users from continuing their attempts to log into a collaborated folder. If the user reaches the maximum number of login attempts set by the enterprise that user collaboration should be removed from the enterprise item/folder.

Leverage search capabilities in Box for Box Drive
Our users would like to use some of the functionalities for Box search, like dates and searching within specific folders, in Box Drive.
46 votesThank you for the suggestion. We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Unable to see folders users have access to through Group invitations
A group is given access to a folder on Box (ie Project A). When the admin views what folders a specific user in Project A has access to, it does not show the collaborated folder for Project A

Ability to hide file previews from Access Stats when a specific user/group of users views a file in Box.
There is a need for a 'covert' style admin functionality which would mask when one of these users views a file in Box.

Add comments to different versions of files
Box has version control (it essentially stores every update of a file, i.e. saving the file), however without adding comments it still hard to use it as an actual version control system. Is there a possibility to add comments to file version?

Allow Excel to open report (csv) without worrying about encoding
The encoding for such csv file is in UTF-8 (no Byte Order Mark) and Excel failed to interpret such file, resulting in non-Unicode character turning garble.
Since we open this report in a Spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel, it would be beneficial to have Byte Order Mark added to the csv report in the first place.
The workaround now is either
1) Open the csv file in a modern text editor and re-save it using UTF-8 (with Byte Order Mark)2) Open a blank spreadsheet on Excel. From "Data" tab click on import from text data source. The manually imported csv files would be correctly imported.
Both workaround would required few extra steps before getting the report display correctly.
