Function to display a list of files that failed to upload when uploading large amounts of content
In the course of work, there are many opportunities to upload folders or large numbers of files at once.
Some files may fail to upload, but the Box Web screen does not allow you to extract information about only the files that failed to upload.
This means that it can be time-consuming to identify files that have failed to upload among a large number of uploaded files.
Please implement a function to display a list of contents that have failed to upload.
If it is difficult to display the list on the screen, please implement a function to export the list in CSV format.

Symlinks in Box to Solve Core Content Organizational Problems.
Box needs symlink support to solve this fairly standard problem that likely happens in every company.
Let's say you manage a team, and you have a team folder and a team structure for how you like to organize and store your files. Inside of that folder are meeting notes, projects, architecture documents, demo recordings, Hiring/Interview Documents and more.
The problem is, eventually the...
- HR team grows and wants to standardize on everyone's interview documents, hiring panels, and more, so they tell you where to put these sorts of files.
- Architecture team grows, and they now want all architecture-related files and documents in a certain structure
- So on and so forth.
Now as a team, you can't store your files in the structure / organization that you want, and your files are now scattered into a bunch of other structures that you don't own. The closest "solution" is collections, but that's basically just a bookmark link for a single person. It's not good enough.
What should happen, is either the Architecture/HR/Other teams make symlinks into your folder structures, or the reverse so that all groups of people can organize content in their own desired way.
This is a core feature of content organization and Box needs to support it.

Box does not work on Microsoft Edge when Norton AntiTrack is enabled. Would be great to have a workaround for this.
Box does currently not function on Microsoft Edge when the Norton AntiTrack plugin/extension is enabled. Have to disable the plugin to be able to use Box. Would be great to have a workaround for this i.e. not have to disable Norton to have Box function on Edge.

When setting up a BoxRelay workflow, I want to extract only users who have not approved and create approval tasks
About BoxRelay workflow creation.
When set up with the following conditions
Action: Assign task
Type of task to assign: Approval Task
Task Details (Person in Charge): Check “This task will be considered complete if one of the persons in charge executes the task.We want to be able to extract only the users who did not approve the above settings and set them as the person in charge of approving the next approval task.

split PST files
I have a large PST file in Outlook that’s becoming difficult to manage due to its size and also difficult to handle as well as. That’s why i would like to split them into smaller, more manageable files to improve performance and avoid any kinds of issue.
Can anyone recommend the best way to safely split a PST file without losing any data? Specifically, I’m looking for guidance on:
Are any reliable third-party utilities that can help split large PST files or should I go for manual method?

Feature request for display of overlapping connector wires in Box Canvas
I would like to see an improvement in the display when the connect lines overlap.
Connect lines intersect in a straight line, but I would like to see the addition of a feature that avoids them when they do, like Omni Graffle or Microsoft Visio.

Add an exportable report for External Users
a Download Report button in External Users, within the Admin Console - Users and Groups. There is a button for Managed Users. We need one for External Users that includes who added or invited the External User and when.

Editting text files online without using Box Edit
I want to edit text files(.txt files) online without using Box Edit.
Because when I edit a text file with Box Edit, I have to download it each time, which takes time.
I think it would be very convenient if I could easily edit text files on Box, just like Box Notes.2 votes -
Status drop down in Sign has no way to filter for "Error"
The Status drop down has no option to filter for a error. It took 17 days before it emailed a contract had an error. I have no way of filtering if there are others with a error.
Can Error be added to the Status filter?

Box version(s) report
It would be nice to be able to generate a report that shows a file's number of versions.
We'd like to change our versioning number at an Enterprise level, but we cannot see how many versions of a file any user has at a time.
It would be nice to be able to pull a report on 'Versions' of a file so that we can see who has over X# of versions of one file and email them about the upcoming change. Currently, there doesn't seem to be a way to find this information.

Request Signature outcome should have Form Submitter variable
When creating a workflow like the one in the following article, the Request Signature outcome cannot use the form submitter as a signer
Some of our workflows start with a form, use Box Doc Gen to generate a document, which then needs to be signed by the original form submitter. While the Request Signature step can access form variables, it notably does not have access to the Form Submitter.
It would be great if this was exposed as a variable so that the sign request could have the submitter as a signer.
Our current workaround is to add a field to the form to have them type their own email; this works, but is a bit cumbersome.
It's also a little silly, given the warning at the bottom of the form is "Your email address ... will be recorded when you submit". Recorded, yes - but not available for signature!

Display more information in Upload Error message in Box Drive
It would be helpful to have more information shared in the Upload Error notification that’s displayed for admins when a user tries to upload content to a folder that has run out of storage. It would be helpful for the error message to display information such as account name, email, or login of the user. Currently, if an organization imposes storage quotas for their users, admins will receive this message anytime a user tries to upload content to a full folder. Having more information up front within the error message would save admins time in looking to find who the user is, and reaching out to them to discuss their storage needs.

API that can get password change date
The interval at which users are required to change their passwords can be set in the Administration Console, but each user is required on a different day.
We would like to inform users of the next password change date in advance.
You can check the password change date in the user detail report, but it takes time to output it, so if you have an API that can get the password change date, you can create a mechanism to automatically notify it.2 votes -

Ability review the most recently uploaded documents in temporal order
Aside from that, my real feedback is that your data room doesn't have a feature to review the most recently uploaded documents in temporal order. This is a crucical feature to M&A lawyers, and a lot of your clients use Box for M&A deals. I would suggest that you look at DataSite and incorporate some of their features, because there are a lot of M&A lawyers who are forced to use your service (becuase you're who the bankers decided to use) and the experience is way worse than DataSite. Not trying to be overly critical but just trying to help you out.
Aside from that, my real feedback is that your data room doesn't have a feature to review the most recently uploaded documents in temporal order. Request: flexibility of the pop up which notify in advance Drive users when moves of large #s of contents at once
This release is good news for us because we have a lot of Box Drive users.
https://support.box.com/hc/ja/articles/35422037930643This is additional improvement request,but it is much appreciated for us that Box admin can set #s of contents when the pop-up message is displayed to Drive users. sometimes end-users accidentaly move folders which are many users are collaborated and critical for business. So we want to display the message even if the #s of contents' are smaller than 8000.

Box Shield - enable download details to be exported to csv
Box Shield reports should have a button to trigger a User Activity report for the activities associated with the period of the Box Shield Alert - ALL actions (not just downloads).
This will assist in the investigation of downloads, and enable us to identify 'FALSE' shield reports - where downloads are in fact folders being copied or moved in Box Drive

Metadata “number” format supports comma “,”.
In order to comply with the Electronic Bookkeeping Act, amounts are entered in "number" format in the metadata.In this case, we would like to enter a comma "," as a separator to prevent errors in the number of digits. Currently, the "Number" format only allows numbers to be entered.If we select "Text" as the format, we can enter a comma ",". However, there is a risk of unintentional full-width input being mixed in, so it is preferable to select "Number" as the format and be able to enter a comma ",". (1000 separator)

I would like the folder tree display/tree operations implemented in Content Manager to be implemented on the normal screen as well.
This will improve usability for people who are accustomed to Windows Explorer.

Box AI Reports now available for existing Box plans
Box AI Reports are currently only available on the Enterprise+ plan.
If the new AI experience is available to existing Box plans, I would like Box AI reporting to be available to existing Box plans as well.in Japanese
