Ability to Make Specific Folders Persistent in Box Drive
In order for some of our CADD standards to work properly we have our users marking a specific folder for offline use. It would be nice if there was an admin setting to mark specific folders to be precached or persistent in Box Drive for specific users or groups.

paste each shape of a flow diagram created with BoxCanvas into another file.
I use Canvas to generate ideas and create flow diagrams using shapes. When merging that flow diagram with another manual document, I want to copy each part into the document instead of the entire flow diagram.

I would like the Help Center to clearly state what you can and cannot do depending on the edition.

I'm an agency employee, and this is a story I heard from a customer who I supported with the implementation of Box.
"I tried to use BoxShuttle in a Business Edition environment. I was a co-administrator, but there was no Shuttle menu in the admin console, so I looked up the Box Help Center and found that it can be used if the co-administrator has the correct permissions. However, with Business Edition, you just "enable" the co-administrator, and there is no such thing as correct permissions. It wasn't until I contacted them that I found out that Shuttle cannot be used by co-administrators of Business Edition."
This is not the only issue, but I also feel that Box Support has not yet fully covered what can and cannot be done depending on the edition. Please improve it.
I feel that it is easy to use and easy to learn. I hope that you will upgrade it to a new version that goes one step further. Thank you as always.

Add remote app support functionality like OneDrive is currently offering
OneDrive now offers support for starting in background for RemoteApp. I tried the same regkey for Box but it didn't work, can the same functionality be added for Box Drive?

Sometimes when working with AutoCAD files, the external references in the CAD files lose their path.
It would be great if the external references (external files) are kept in the CAD file and not lose their paths. (I do wonder if this is happening because the path is too long).

default search to search everywhere in box
We are not happy with the new search experience. We dont mind it but it would be nice if we can set our default search to search everywhere in box. We find that searching everywhere is more useful than searching within a folder. This auto restriction to the current folder is useless to our attorney's and likely adds 2 hours to their workweek (30 seconds at a time....)

Help Microsoft to Fix Entra SSO Auto-Provisioning
We have confirmed with Microsoft a bug in Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO Auto-Provisioning, where an update of any user attribute also updates the user's Allocated Storage (a.k.a. space_amount) to Unlimited (a.k.a. a very high number). Since Microsoft offers the integration as an Enterprise Application, they need to fix this.
In the meantime, Box should document the situation, do whatever they can to offer a workaround, and assist Microsoft to expedite the fix.

Box Notes - Cell text justification not consistently applied
In Box Notes, when I click (+) at the bottom of a table, the justification from the cell above is not respected. Instead, it appears the justification from the cell to the left takes priority. This means that when adding more rows, presumably to extend columns, the formatting within each columns can become inconsistent.

Ability to return all files and folders from a specific folder name
Currently , using the Folder API call with 0 for folder_id at the Root Level will return all the files/folders that the user is permissioned for.

Updating metadata date to current date button
Having a button that would "Use Current Date" Would be a great benefit. Updating any date that is older than 10 years old takes two clicks. We have two dates associated with documents, being able to have a button that says use current date would save a lot of time when documents are updated.

Box Relay Processing Delay
Our client experienced significant delay in Box Relay Processing.
This Relay assigns task to user after previous task was completed, but it took about 3 hous to do that after previous task was completed.
Although Box Relay is not always processed in real time accourding to the article※1 below, 3 hours delay affects their work efficiency.
We hope Box Relay be fixed and this problem will be improved.Thanks.

Allowing Box Drive to be enabled or disabled for specific users or groups
I have found it inconvenient that Box Drive can only be enabled or disabled for all users uniformly.
I believe that allowing Box Drive to be enabled or disabled for specific users or groups would provide more flexible operation. Implementing this feature could enhance security and operational efficiency. I would greatly appreciate your consideration of this request.

2-step verification should be also available for free plan not only for paid.

Hubs - Allow Hub editors to remove/hide file details
Will we have the option to remove extra file details like the date created, file size, and file creator?

Box Hubs Box AI does not register all the documents added to that Hub
Box AI does not recognize all the documents in the Box Hub, and seems to recognize old documents that were removed from the Hub. Currently when I ask Box AI what documents are in my Hub it states only 2 documents out of 10 and one of those documents was previously removed.

Box Drive Windows Drive Letter
We work with Box Drive more than using the Box Web App.
It would be useful to have a plugin that maps Box to a drive letter rather than going to the shared link for the web or for example "C:\Users[USERNAME]\Box[Account Folder][Another Account Folder]" Only having a path going directly to Box[Account Folder][Another Account Folder] by default would be a great thing to have.

Document Manipulation & Editing Capabilities
Ability to extend Box AI’s capabilities to perform calculations within certain documents (spreadsheets) and extract or insert this information into a box document or worksheet. For example, when calculating two fields within a spreadsheet, Box AI outputs this in a table view and can insert this information into the document as a separate field or a separate worksheet. This functionality is available in ChatGPT 4.0, Copilot, etc.
