We have confirmed that when collaborating as a group rather than as a direct collaborator, the content card behaves differently than described in the article.
After investigating with your company (Box), we were told that content card behavior for group invitations is not currently supported.
Therefore, to avoid confusion for users, we would like you to take the following action.【Requests】:
1.The article should clearly state that the operation of content cards for group invitations is not currently supported.
2.In the future, we would like to see content cards for group invitations also be supported.【Target article】:

1.Content card not updating even after granting access permissionsArticle Contents:
To Post a shared link from Box in a Teams Channel or Chat:
5.Once you grant the access, the card refreshes to show the content card with file details.Actual behavior:
When attempting to grant access, the message "Response sent to app" is displayed, but the card is not updated and the card for granting permissions remains displayed.
*It has been confirmed that the posted Box shared link itself can be sent to the other party and that the other party has received it.。2.Even if the same operation is performed, the number of inaccessible chat members displayed on the content card may differ.
Article Contents:
Difference between Channels and Chats
・When sharing a file in a chat message, Box indicates the specific number of chat members who lack access (it does not indicate this in a channel message).
By granting members access to the file, you are making them collaborators (as compared to channel members, to whom you’re simply granting file access).

・The sender, recipient A, and recipient B belong to the same group.
・All three were invited to the shared link folder as part of a group, and were not direct collaborators.
・The group has editor privilegesActual behavior:
・When the sender sends a chat to recipient A: The content card displays the message "You cannot view this file shared by two users."
・When the sender sends a chat to recipient B: The content card displays the message "You can't view this file shared by a user."<Box for Teamsのグループ招待時のコンテンツカードのサポートについて>

Push the recommended Hub
In Box Hubs, we would like to have the ability to push high priority Hubs from the admin side.
Currently, users have to click on the "Box Hubs" tab from the left side of the screen to get to each Hub.
The name "Box Hubs" is not intuitive to the average user, so they almost never access it.
This is the same as the "feeds" that were discontinued in beta.On the other hand, we would like to have the ability to push Hub recommendations to all managed users or specified gruop.
Specifically, we have the following suggestions
(1) Display the Hubs specified by the administrator in the menu on the left side of the screen. (Please avoid the specification that you have to click "▽", as in the case of collections.)
(2) Thumbnail display of recommended Hubs in the place where "Recently accessed files" is currently displayed as thumbnails. If the names or thumbnails of specific Hubs, such as "Box Operation Manual" or "Company Regulations," are displayed in such a manner, the possibility of access will increase dramatically, and the value of using Hubs will be maximized.

Reports to track Box Relay creation
We need a reporting feature that tracks the status of Box Relay creation.
Reasons:
1.When a workflow template is duplicated, it is possible to use it without changing its name, which leads to the existence of multiple workflows with the same name.
2.The only way to monitor usage is through user activity logs, which do not provide information on frequency of use or usage status.
3.If workflows created by employees on leave remain unused or incorrectly configured, the transfer process could be omitted.

Avoid accidental edits! Set local OS ReadOnly flag initially on ALL Box Drive files; When User Clears local RO, auto-Lock file for editing!
Currently a user can very easily ACCIDENTALLY change a file locally in Box Drive without locking. This can be completely avoided by this:
EVERY file in Box Drive should initially have local OS (e.g. Windows) "Read-only" attribute set. If and when the user explicitly Clears/Unsets the Windows Read-only attribute, e.g. in Windows Explorer (or chooses "Lock File For Editing in Box Drive" from context menu), Box Drive shall AUTOMATICALLY Lock it in Box, ideally only allowing local editing within Box Drive. There could be a pop up message like "File Locked for editing in Box Drive; be sure to Unlock (or set Read-only attribute) when done editing (or do so Now if Locking was unintentional)."
When done editing, of course they must either choose "Unlock File", or perhaps alternatively simply set the local Read-only attribute again which shall automatically Unlock the file in Box.

Georeferencing files and ability to see them on a map
We work on a number of projects that have a physical address. Also we often have to take site pictures. It would be very useful if we could see the projects on a map so we can look for precedents in physical vicinity easier. Perhaps this can be enabled via metadata field where the template can be applied to a folder or a file. Postal address or coordinates would work for us.

Reporting on Justification.
When you have a policy that can be overridden by justification, we would like to be able to report on which user invite external collaborators by using which justification, so we can filter it quickly and ask the user when necessary for audit purposes.5 votes -
Reference a document (or load one) into a Box AI prompt within Hubs for comparison/analysis using Hub content.
Many of the examples cited in the initial press release for Box AI imply that it can be used for comparison and analysis of documents. While this can currently be done in a limited way in Box AI for documents, comparison is only against the general information contained in the underlying LLM.
Currently, you can paste a maxium of 1000 characters of text, minus the actual instructions in the prompt, for this type of analysis.
It is a critical feature to be able to compare/analyze a document against the private information contained in a Box Hub, not just the general training data of the LLM.
Doing this would require either: -Being able to reference an existing document in Box within the prompt for comparison to the Hub content, or -being able to load a document directly into the prompt for comparison/analysis against Hub content.

Clarity on sources used to provide AI responses within Hubs
From our testing, it appears that responses produced to Box AI prompts within Hubs use a combination of content from the Hub and general information from the LLM. The general content is sometimes contradictory to the actual content contained within the Hub, and often results in hallucinations.
Users should be able to request that responses be limited to Hub content, or citations should be improved to indicate where Hub content was used in a response.2 votes -
Ability to disable channel folder changes by users (including team owners)
Currently, users can change the location of their "Microsoft Teams Chat Files" folder and team owners can change the location of channels' folders.
Due to security concerns, customers want to have the ability to disable folder changes for channels and chats.2 votes -

Trigger E-mail notification for annotation comments
Currently, Box does not send E-mail notifications when a reviewer uses Annotation tools such as Markup, Comment on Region, and Highlight and Comment options, unless our name is mentioned. It would be beneficial if Box could send E-mail notifications even when our names are not mentioned in annotations.
While Annotations are excellent for adding comments, not receiving e-mail notifications for these comments is a drawback. Please consider implementing this feature.4 votes -

Mirror shared folder across enterprises
We have a user who collaborates with folks in a different Box enterprise, and wants to know if their shared content can be mirrored between folders within each enterprise. He sees this as a potential positive for backup, among other purposes.

Ability to copy existing report to create new one
When creating a new scheduled report, that is similar to an existing scheduled report, it would be time-saving and efficient for the existing scheduled report that has the filters and schedule closed to those needed for the new report, to be able to COPY and SAVE AS the existing report's filters and schedule, to then edit to suit the new report's needs.
This would be far superior and timesaving than creating the new report from scratch, having first to screenshot the existing report's filters and schedules to ensure that the new one is created similarly.
For example, a scheduled report for a particular person is scheduled to run monthly, with various standard filters (actions, folders). Subsequently, a similar report is needed for a new person, but with additional actions selected, and required for only 6 weeks (rather than the other report that is infinitely required.

Archives for perfomance
Hello, I have more and more people that come back to me because Box takes more and more time to load and by the way give the feeling of beeing slower.
The root cause is the huge amount of files, folders ...
So what is needed urgently is to get the possibility to archive what is not yet useful. When I check all the pulse request about archives, they all be tagged at not planned but this feature must exist and this is a really big issue.
So please take time to consider this request because it has to exist and will give users the opportunity to have been heard and to have a greater confidence in the tool.
Thank you in advance for your help!

File Request templates so users can select pre-built
We would like File Request templates. An admin could create pre-built templates from which users can select for consistent branding and avoid the burden on users to create.
This will help to manage branding across the various subsidiaries in our organization and reduce friction from those being asked to upload files as they will know exactly where the request is coming from.4 votes -

Make sure there are multiple ways to login to Box incase 2FA is disabled or not working. Perhaps ask a security question in lieu of the 2FA. So if someone changes the phone or email or the app, they can login with their username and password, and then if the 2FA fails, answer some security questions to get logged in. I just changed my phone and the authenticator app was not working,so I had to email the Box team and it took 2 weeks to get back into my account. So let's come up with a system for this. Thanks.

Explorer
When you open a folder in Explorer format and use BackSpace to go back from where you opened it, the opened folder will be hidden from view in the reduced window. If there are only a few displayed items when you return, there is no problem because you can see everything, but if there are a lot of files and folders (more than can be displayed in the reduced window), some of the objects visible in the window will be displayed. , it goes out of its way to be one of the topmost files and folders. why? When I return to BackSpace, I would like to be able to see the folder I opened at that time.
