2. Ability to create folders on the fly when moving/copying content

   Users would like to be able to create a folder when moving/copying content, as opposed to only being able to move/copy content to pre-existing folders. It would save time and energy to be able to do that on the fly as opposed to creating the folder ahead of time.

3. Box CLI Email Notifications and Folder Settings

   We would like to enable upload notifications for select folders, on particular users or groups.

   Currently users need to go into each folder's settings to then check the box for upload notifications, or they can select upload notifications in their user settings.

   The first option is very time consuming, we have about 140 folders that we would like to target and it is hard to force employee's to complete this.
   The 2nd option removes the importance of notifications if users are being notified for everything.

   It would be great to have a bulk option to enable notifications or manage other folder settings for users.
   Would it be possible to use the Box CLI to target Folder IDs, User/Group IDs, then have the various folder options to flag or unflag. This would be a huge time saver.

4. Ability to edit captured data in BoxNote.

   In the captured data pasted to Note
   You can create a box for inserting text or highlighting it, or you can apply a mosaic to an arbitrary area.
   I would like to be able to edit pasted images immediately.
   Although it is possible to edit images by right-clicking with the current specifications (Windows 10),
   You can only edit handwritten notes (pen, marker), arrows, and degrees.
   After that, you can save the image by either copying it to the clipboard or saving it with a name.
   I am not able to edit images smoothly and I feel it is bothersome.

   We believe that it can be used for creating easy-to-read minutes, manuals, etc.
   I hope you will consider it.

5. Use Issuer Label prefix in TOTP URI for MFA to conform to recommendations

   When setting up MFA using authenticator app, the QR code you generate does not provide Issuer Label Prefix in the label.

   This is not according to TOTP recommendations:
   https://github.com/google/google-authenticator/wiki/Key-Uri-Format#issuer

   Your format is:
   otpauth://totp/<EMAIL-ADRESS>?secret=<SECRET>&issuer=Squarespace&digits=6&period=30

   This leads Microsoft Authenticator to use the name <email-domain>, for example "gmail" or "outlook", for the account, as per https://github.com/google/google-authenticator/wiki/Key-Uri-Format#label

   If another website implements the same bad QR code format as you, on iOS one of the two will be overwritten, and you will loose access to that site.

   Squarespace uses the same bad formatting, so chances of catastrophe is big. (I will also be reaching out to them about this)

6. [Support preview of ".xct" files] Support preview of ".xct" files

   We use DocuWorks for our business.
   At this time, the Box preview supports ".xdw" and ".xbd", but unfortunately ".xct" is not yet supported.

   A similar request was submitted on the following BoxPulse, which was "Delivered" as of 09/2022, but only the ".xct" is still not in preview.

   Therefore, we need to register Fujifilm's source files with AppleStore in order to use DocuWorks from Box for EMM.

9. ability to upload thumb for folders and links

   need to add capability to upload low res thumb jpgs for:
   1) Folders
   2) Bookmarks

   This need to work across all devices:
   1) Desktop browser
   2) Mobile
   3) App

   This needs to work on all platforms:
   1) Mac
   2) Windows
   3) apple and android

   THIS IS CRUCIAL EASY TO IMPLEMENT FEATURE THAT WILL DRAMATICALLY ENHANCE USER EXPERIENCE. IM A UX / UI CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND I KNOW IT WILL HELP ACROSS THE BOARD FOR MANY USE CASES AND MANY VARIOUS TARGET AUDIENCES.

10. Please display the time range (hh:mm:ss) in the update date column.

    When sorting search results by modified date, the time (hh:mm:ss) is not displayed in the modified date column.
    This makes it difficult to guess the time range and find the file in the search results if many files were updated on the same day.

12. Show file paths on "Error updating *** items..."

    If BoxDrive has some errors, it shows error on "Error updating *** items..." by clicking the gear icon.
    Then the error window says, "The original file was deleted on Box" on my environment.
    But it doesn't show the paths, but also filenames.
    So it would be very helpful if you could improve it to show the filenames and its path.

    I want to be able to create a universal wiki that I can embed Sonar (for Salesforce) data dictionary views into, embed LucidChart and LucidSpark documents, and create general dictionaries, protocols, procedures and knowledge for the organization, department, and teams. I would like to be able to control access levels or wiki articles and article groups.

14. Request to improve the behavior of files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set on Box Drive

    In Shield > Access Policy, we are creating a classification label for the policy that has "Restrict downloading and printing" set as the security control.
    Depending on when you set this label classification, Box Drive may not have the limitations you expect.
    I would like to see an improvement so that files with "Download and Print Restrictions" set cannot be opened or copied in Box Drive from the moment the settings are set.

    The specific steps and events are as follows.
    1. Open the file before setting the classification label in Box Drive.
    2. Edit, save and close the file.
    3. Set a classification label for the file.
    4. Open the file in Box Drive.
    5. Although I have applied "download and print restrictions," I can open and save files on Box Drive. You can also copy to a local drive.

15. Request for the ability to zoom in and out and preview clearly after displaying TIF.

    When viewing a TIF file in a browser, it is clear, but in a mobile app, the TIF file is not clear
    When viewing a TIF file in a mobile app, it is difficult to view it via the mobile app because there is no zoom in/out function, so it is pinch-enlarged and not clear even when zoomed in, so it must be downloaded to a local library for viewing.

16. Allow Admins to Monitor for Sync Errors

    Currently if there are any sync errors in Box Drive the only way to identify them is for the user to notice the toast notification or click on the Box Drive systray icon. Relying on the end user to report errors is not reliable and almost caused us to lose data going back several years.

    The only way errors are logged is in the Box Drive log files but no one from Box or Box Support is willing to share how those are logged for admins to monitor.

    Box Drive needs to better log any errors encountered so admins can be proactive and address any issues before critical data is lost. Several options would be logging the event back to the admin console, creating a specific log file just for errors, logging an event to the system logs.

19. About scaling operations using the mouse wheel

    When displaying the preview screen in a web browser, using the mouse wheel will scale the entire screen along with the thumbnails and sidebar, but I would like to be able to scale only the content part.

20. I have some files sorted into collections. It would be great if I could select all the files and tag them.

    Currently you have to tag each file in a collection individually. If you select all the tag option disappears.
