Please add a new way to change the maximum cache size of Box Drive without having to make a personal registry change.
In Box Drive, as described in the link below, Modifying the maximum cache limit requires a registry change.
However, in many companies, end users do not have the skills or authority to modify the registry.We would like you to work on a way to achieve this other than by changing the registry when modifying the maximum cache limit.

Access policies for individual folders
Would it be possible to set up access policies that can be applied per-folder instead of by Classification label?
We have Ethical Walls and security concerns where we need to prevent sharing of files of Client A with Client B and also with preventing individual users from being shared folders.
One way to do this would be classification policies - but I have far more clients than the twenty five label limit.
The way around this would be to allow access policies by folder, regardless of classification, as well as the Box-wide access policy for unclassified content.

Show only files that are not in the "Collections".
There are so many files on "All files". In such a situation, it is very useful to be able to show only the files that are not in the "Collection".

BOX Drive - Block local file/folder creation if user does not have write access
We do not allow creation of root folder in BOX. Also certain folders are read only for select staff. When using BOX Drive if they try to add content to an area they only have read access, the content is listed and appears to the employee, that they uploaded it to BOX. There is a tiny red dot but to many this is not sufficient to let them know the data is not being protected. Support SSO with certificate authentication in ios app
Authenticate using the In-App Browser when performing single sign-on using the Box for iOS App. Authentication using an X.509 Certificate is not available. In-App Browser does not accept certificate authentication requests.
Other iOS apps (Gmail, Slack, etc.) support certificate authentication, so I would like Box for iOS to support it as well.

Option to revert accidentally moved files/folders
More often than not users accidentally move files/folders by mistake.
Reverting is nothing but a complete and avoidable nightmare.
The current process is horrendous. Running a report on moves only gives you info on WHO moved the folder and where it was ORIGINALLY. After finally searching for and locating the folder, the Admin Console gives you no options to move the folder. You instead have to granting yourself permission to the parent folder, navigating to your personal Box account and make the move manually. Showing PDF annotations on mobile applications
We would like the ability to show PDF annotations on both iOS and android, from different PDF applications. This would include Adobe PDF and Nuance PDF to name a couple.
Currently, when a PDF annotation is added from Adobe or another PDF software application, it is not possible to view that PDF annotation from the Box mobile application. You would have to download the PDF to the device locally to view any annotations.

Please add a button to switch between 'available', 'Add by Default' and 'Never show' for "the items displayed in this Box web app".
In the near future (2021 7/15 JST) there will be an update to the user app settings in the Box web app.
Once this update is in place, applications that are 'available' in the app settings of the management console will appear in the Box preview screen.While we are very happy about this, we do not want to confuse end users with this update.
We would like to see only the applications that are set to "Add by Default" on the screen as now, and not the applications that are "Available".

Include device identification in Device Trust logs
We think it would be valuable to be able to identify a specific device failing Device Trust. Either MAC address or computer name would be useful. Computer name would be the preference.
This to positively identify the device end users are using to connect. As we were implementing Device Trust we ran into numerous situations where end users were connecting from multiple devices and not transparent with us that they were using multiple computers.3 votes -
Global Metadata Variable
Provide functionality for metadata variables to be referenced globally within other metadata templates.
For example, company regions change annually. If we need to add a new region (South) to our current regions (Central, East, West), we have to update each individual template with a region field. It would be ideal if we could update the regions in one global variable that can then be referenced in all metadata templates. This process today is time consuming, decentralized, and error prone.

Enable Bulk Edit of Admin Settings for Box Sync
My company is fully transitioning away from Box Sync and over to Box Drive. You can disable Box Sync from being used, but you can't perform a bulk edit on each person's account to uncheck Box Sync. Unless this is done, 'Synced' will still appear on the left hand side of a user's account. This will be a very time consuming administrative change when you have to manually uncheck this setting for hundreds, if not thousands of users.

I need to save an e-mail to my my files that have been recently migrated to BOX but I can't because BOX is NOT an option to save something into. How do I save e-mails to BOX folders when BOX folders are not an option to save something into?

Slack/Box integration, no message about permissions when they are correct
Currently, Slack puts a message that says "Not everyone in the channel can see "XXXX". You can customize the sharing settings below." This happens even when someone can see it because they have permissions to that folder or file.
This message should not appear when they have permission.

Collaboration Whitelisting UI Enhancement (enable labels and filter/search)
When we have dozens of domains in the whiltelist for external collaboration, it is hard to manage.
We think that it needs some UI enhancements such as
1) enabling to add a label to each domain e.g. company name, descriptions, etc.

Directly link between box drive and box for outlook & box notes
Currently, Box for outlook can only access to box online which requires authentication each time which is not a smart process. Could we have box for outlook link directly to box drive to save and upload files instead? This will be more efficient for box drive users.
Also have the same issue with box notes. This cannot be accessed directly to/from box drive.

I want to see more than one page of what others have downloaded and previewed.
We get feedback from clients when they review a file but don't download it. Currently, I can only see one page of what a client has reviewed or downloaded. It should be a running list. Thx!

Month and Year options when searching Metadata date fields do not select
When you try to select a month or year in the date picker when searching or filtering against metadata, the date picker disappears.
This means you have to scroll through the various months to get the date you want to select instead of using the filter options.

UI usefulness and flexibility
Concerning your UI, your lists should be more manageable. Why is it for instance that on the Relay menu you can only sort by the Workflow name. What if I want to sort by the user so I can more easily find workflows created by a specific user. Same is true for the list of managed users, there should be more fields on the list such as Date Created, Created By, and Status. Your reporting module also needs more flexibility in the reports an admin can create.
