Add external collaborator's expiration date on collaboration report
In the collaboration report, there are invited date and accepted date, but there is no expiration date. Would it be possible to add expiration date in the collaboration report?
Because it is too tough to confirm the expiration date one by one on the collaboration list page or using API, I demand the way to confirm enitre expiration date easily.95 votes -
Select the type of access from Box for Outlook.
【Prerequisites】
Folder Settings>Only collaborators can access this folder via shared links
Set to "Folders Only". ( *It is not "Files Only". )【Method】
1.Run the Box for Outlook "Upload and Attach".
2.Select the items you want to attach to the email and select a folder in the Box.
3.Select the type of access.
*However, the pull-down for selecting the type of access will only show "Users in this folder".【Requests】
Even when the above preconditions have been set,
we want to select "People with the link" or "People in Company" or "invited people only" from Box for Outlook.【前提条件】

extend external collaborators
Our internal policy expires external collaborators after 90 days. We have a few folders where we have over 400 external collaborators where we would like to maintain access beyond 90 days Is it possible to programmatically extend access to the users in those folders.

Right clicking box folders to open a new tab
I would like to be able to open Box folders in a new tab by right-clicking that folder. Several years ago, when I first started using Box, I was able to do that, but for the last couple years that feature has disappeared.
I'm not referring to breadcrumbs. I understand those can be right-clicked and opened in a new tab. Instead, I'm referring to the folders I see before me when I log into Box.

Bring the full Google Docs/Slides/Sheets functionality to Box
Bring the Box for Google Docs & Sheets up to date with the native Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, including implementing the eg locking cells, Macros, add-ons etc so customers can really stay on Box and not have to go through other apps/UIs.

New role that can be changing other collaborator role but doesn't have right to do new invite.
Would like to a user role that cannot add collaborators but can change the privileges of each collaborator who has already collaborated, it is not possible to invite new users, but a user who can change existing roles is possible.

finder tag
I use tags very often in my work to keep track of certain documents and where they are in the process. It is very frustrating to me that I cannot tag documents in Box Drive and have them come up in my sidebar on Finder. Is there a solution to this? Is this a feature that will be added soon? If it is not in the cards for Box Drive, I will have to migrate to Dropbox, which does support this feature for Finder Tags.

Add ability to cancel opening a file through Box Edit
If a large file is accidentally clicked on to open through Box Edit, it would be nice to be able to cancel opening the file. That way, you wouldn't have to wait even longer for the correct file to open.

Not have to manually focus box drive search
With Box Drive, it used to be that when I press ctrl-alt-shift-b, I'd get the box popup with the search field focused with the cursor at the end of the last search I did.
Something's changed that now the input field is no longer focused. Now I have to click on it to type.
It used to be that I had to shift-home, backspace and then I could type a new search.
Best case scenario is that the search field should already be focused with the text highlighted so that I can immediately type or press enter repeat the last…2 votes -
Unique delivery of webhooks
We need a unique delivery of webhooks for each file trigger event. Currently, for trigger FILE.UPLOADED we get multiple webhook calls.

Add "Sign in with Google" Option to Box Drive
For users who "Sign in with Google" to the Box Web App, it would also be helpful to have the option for Box Drive.

Support more than two most recent OS updates
The requirement to be on the last two OS updates is fairly onerous and makes it difficult to continue using Box. Supporting two recent versions sounds reasonable but upgrading is time consuming and risky and my system otherwise works perfectly. Dropbox have no such restriction and so I’m going to have to switch to them at least for the time being.

Offer preview of images for Box Drive or Box Sync.
As a designer, when working on a publication, it would be helpful to be able to have a preview of images saved in Box for quicker identification directly from the Desktop Box Drive. Right now, we have to preview with Finder, which is an additional step and makes the process cumbersome. Thank you for your consideration.

Make available list of countries available for a Shield List
The input fields are not the easiest way to find a value to add to a Shield List. Naming convention is different across systems, so it would be helpful to know the values that are available to be added.

Ability to assign specific metadata to a corresponding upload file zone when multiple exist on a page
As an internal user, I want to create a file request template that has multiple file upload zones where each file upload zone has unique metadata associated with the upload zone.
This enhancement would significantly improve the customer experience by utilizing a single URL instead of multiple. This enhancement would also streamline internal processes for staff by eliminating the need for staff to manually sort uploaded files.
In the current state, we are forced to create 3 separate file requests so that we can achieve the desired internal efficiencies.

Time based relay tasks
Support time based triggers in Relay. For example, 180 days after an item has been uploaded to a folder either delete the file or move it to another location.

MAC OS Spotlight search for Box Drive
Ability to search for Box files from the Mac OS Spotlight Search feature. Allow all files/folders I have access to in Box/Drive to surface in the search functionality on my Mac desktop.
