Box Shield: "Read Only" Security Control setting
In Box Shield, add a Security Control setting that locks the folder and effectively puts the folder in a read-only mode, disallowing edits and uploads, no matter what the collaborators' permission levels are (except Admin, obviously).
This way, it's possible to give users a "lower" permission level to a subfolder without affecting their elevated permissions in the parent folder.

Box for Salesforce - Add Option to Show the Sidebar in Content Explorer and Preview UI Elements
Currently, the Sidebar is not enabled for UI Elements in Box for Salesforce. This would provide a property to show or hide the sidebar on the Content Explorer and Preview UI Element components.

Who invited a user?
Bring back the column under Managed Users that tells you who invited a user. That easy bit of information is no longer there. Now you have to run a report that takes forever and may or may not give you the information.

In the same way you can access and reinstate old versions of documents on Box, it would be good to be able to do the same on Canvases.

Allow non-Admin users to configure sidebar defaults and button order on file-view page
My workplace's Box system just switched to always showing Box AI as the default view in the sidebar when I view a file. I'd like it to go back to showing the recent activity or file details sidebar by default on the file view page, or be able to set the default myself without being an Enterprise Admin. It would also be nice to be able to rearrange the vertical buttons as a user-side configuration option.

Increase the deletion limit on the suppression list, which is currently capped at 10 email addresses per day
Currently, the maximum number of email addresses allowed on deleting the suppression list is limited to 10 per day. However, for large-scale organizations with tens of thousands of employees, the number of addresses that need to be suppressed is much higher, and 10 per day is insufficient. We would like this limit to be increased.

I want Preview on hover in list views to support Box Notes and Box Canvas
The following features have been released, but Box Notes and Box Canvas cannot display thumbnails.
Include these file types in support. Many users will be more efficient.

Add expiration date to collaboration list CSV of folder insight
The CSV file output by the Folder Insights feature does not have an expiration column, but the collaboration report in the Admin console does.
I want the expiration date to be output to the CSV file of the folder insight function.

I would like to be able to choose whether to display or hide the new menu.
In the future, if there are any new additions to the menus that Box users can see,
I would like them to be hidden by default, with administrators and co-administrators able to set whether they are visible or not.
The reason for this is that, as part of company operations, functions that have been verified to work by the operator are deployed to end users along with manuals,
and if end users were able to operate new menus, this could lead to an increase in unnecessary inquiries about operations and confusion.今後、Box利用者が見ることができるメニューに新規追加がある場合は、

Ability to create custom re-usable fields
I want to create custom versions of standard fields and save them for reuse on future documents that I send.
Custom fields help speed up the document preparation by allowing me to reuse previously created fields customized for my needs.Custom fields work like any other standard field. I can just place it on my document, and it retains all of the field properties I defined previously, such as font styles, validation, title, options for radiobuttons/dropdowns and others.

Ability to add a parameter to control the visibility of the zoom button when creating expiring embed links
Most of the time, when viewing on mobile, it appears that the zoom button doesn't do much when pressed. Only when zoomed out does it seem to fit the document to the screen. Raymond James would like the ability to disable this when creating expiring embed links.

Minimum and Default Value Control Functionality:The customization options for watermarks allow users too much freedom. If users prioritize visibility and make the watermark too small or position it in a corner, there is a risk that the effectiveness of deterring copying may diminish.
Administrator Controls:It would be excellent if there were controls to ensure that users cannot set values below a minimum level defined by administrators. Specifically, users should not be able to go below the default values set by administrators.

Relay Failure Notifications
It would be extremely helpful if when a relay fails to execute, or stalls for an extended length of time, the admin gets a notification. Currently if a relay fails, or stalls indefinitely, noone is actually notified, and the only record of the failure or stall is in the tracking log of the individual relay. It would be far more efficient for me as an admin to be proactively notified of the issue.

BOX for Outlook - Saving Outlook messages in .msg and not .eml format
Outlook messages saved to BOX using the BOX for Outlook icon default to .eml format and thus cannot be previewed in BOX.
The only way to save the message in .msg format (that can be previewed) is to use Outlook's 'Save as' feature and force it to save the message in .msg format to BOX Drive. This is a very time-consuming process.
I would like to see Outlook messages defaulting to .msg and not .eml format.3 votes -
Automatically generate a password for the shared link
I would like to request the addition of a feature that generates a random password meeting the password requirements on the screen where users create an open sharing link and are prompted to set a password.
When there is a requirement to set a password, manually creating a password each time can be burdensome.3 votes
