Users want to add a function that allows them to select the association from the existing Box folder when they create a new folder in SFDC
This is a request for improvement about Box for salesforce. The article below describes the "Creating Record-Specific Folders" feature, but instead of creating a new folder for salesforce records, users want to associate the folder that Box has already created with the salesfore record. MS One Note integration needed
I use MS One Note very often and would like the ability to share with Box however there are many issues and end up saving the One Note file on a shared drive which does not have the same features as Box...I am trying to move away from utilizing shared drives and using Box primarily, however issues like One Note imcompatibility are preventing me from moving away from shared drives.

Add file/folder sort by some property (i.e. "creation", etc ) as these are contained in the file info
I know this has been raised before. the ability to sort by other criteria should be possible, as the File Properties, File Information already contains the metadata.
eg.

Please stop removing features and services for paying Personal Pro accounts; or give us the chance to upgrade without 3 users min
I have been paying for Personal Pro since 2014. Since then I have been paying the same amount every month, and have had features and services removed.
First was tracking file downloads/views. Then this week I lost the ability to make Custom URLs.
When I asked about my options, I was told that I could upgrade to a Business account; but for that I'd need a minimum of 3 users. I am a freelancer and work by myself. I have no need to pay for 3 users when it's just me.
I think it's completely unprofessional and unethical to not…

Word docs reformatted and deleting text
I've noticed that Word documents that I upload get reformatted and text gets cut off in the Box version. This has happened to me several times, and to my coworkers as well.

Level Up the Salesforce Integration & Increase Doc Visibility/Accessibility
Our company uses the Salesforce-Box integration. We are made up of a set of advisor teams who should only be able to see their clients' files. This works in Salesforce, where all client documents are visible. However, our users were used to accessing client files in the "File Explorer" on their desktop (Finder in Mac), under the Salesforce folder in Box on the desktop. Client folders only show up here if the user has clicked through the client's folders/docs in Salesforce. Open files from favorites
I'd like to be able to open a file directly from the favorites. That way, I avoid a preview (and its access stats by the way). If the file is not locked then it is opened in my local app. That would be really helpful.

Ability to check when user's password will be expired on their end
Currently users have no way to know when user's password will be expired on their end.

Using number formatting breaks if you don't want an inserted space or image to be numbered
When I try to format a document using numbering, the sequence breaks if you don't continue the format. In Word, you can restart at 1 or continue numbering if you have a new section of numbers. This forces us to use bullets instead. Sometimes, we'd actually like to use the option of numbering when we are numbering steps.

Adjust "arrow" to forward to next document when viewing a document it conflicts with the scroll bar when viewing an existing document
The arrow that you click to forward to the next document overlaps the scroll bar for the existing document. This impacts the ability to scroll up and down on the existing document. Please adjust the placement so the arrow doesn't overlap the scroll bar.

Add email verification / require people to share emails in order to access files (DocSend has this feature - https://www.docsend.com/features/sharing/)

Set file to read only for users without editing permissions
Box Drive allows users without edit rights to download, edit files, and keep them personally.
Since we are giving these users permissions where they can't edit, we want to prevent this behavior by setting the file to "read-only" when users without editing permission open it, download it, or save it (the file)

Improve exported report by showing both moves into and moves out of the folder.
If you run a User Activity report for a single folder using the 'Moved' filter and click 'Run,' the in-browser run of the results will show moves both into and out of the folder you selected.
If you build a User Activity report with the same parameters and click 'Export,' the generated spreadsheet of results will only show moves into the folder.
The report would give more thorough information if the exported report showed both moves into and moves out of the folder.

And, Drive should be added new icons for this.
When PC comes online, if the latest version is available, something icons on folders indicates you can get a new update on the folder.
it would be very helpful to notice them need to update on the folder.

We have 700+ users. There should be an easy way that an admin or co-admin can notify everyone.
Example: say we need to do some maintenance and would like to notify all of our users. Right now I was told the only way to do this is to email everyone or share a link with everyone. With over 700+ users that would be a LOT of emailing or sharing. Can you please create a way we can send out a notification to our whole enterprise?

Change login flow of desktop apps so it does not use default browsers
Box Notes also uses the same login flow as Box Drive - which uses the default browsers to login (IE for Windows, Safari for Mac).
We have Windows and our Idp cannot use IE for the login process. We would like to request support for using other browsers or a different login process that does not require IE.
