from Box Folder (Filtered) View - Start Box Relay
Most of solutions would need filtered data for example, to track the status of any document or request, one would need Status field to track the progress and showing user a filtered view is necessary. From same view, if relay can be initiated would be highly appreciated.

Form dropdown - Show big list of Values from Excel
How to manage long list of Items like Asset Number or Functional location Number into Form Drop Down?
If Drop Down functionality on the form can take Excel as Source then that can solve this issue and letting user search/filter from Drop Down to select Single/Multiple entries.

create a new folder while moving file
There should be the ability to create a new folder while moving a file to a new location. Right now we have to create the folder in the location we want the new file in and then return to the current location and then move it. Time consuming.

Prevent modals (Box AI and New Collection) from closing when clicking outside
We would like to request a change to the behavior of modal windows, specifically for Box AI and the "Create New Collection" screen. Currently, these modals close automatically if a user clicks anywhere outside the modal area. I request that they remain open unless the "Close" or "Cancel" button is explicitly clicked.
Reasoning:
We are using Pendo to provide in-app training and guidance to help our employees adopt Box AI and other Box features. Add specific error message for managed users whose domain is owned by another tenant
When an admin attempts to add a managed user whose email domain is already registered to another tenant, the system should display a specific error message explaining the reason.
Currently, the error message only states “1 user cannot be added,” which provides no context and makes it difficult for admins to understand what went wrong or how to resolve the issue.

Request for an option to enable or disable email notifications when sharing a Hub
When sharing a Hub, I would like to be able to choose whether or not to send an email to the person I invited.
This is because users are not used to receiving notification emails from Box and might perceive them as spam, which would prevent unnecessary inquiries from being made to the IT department.
The addition of the Hub will be announced separately on the portal site, so I would like the Hub to be quietly added to the Hubs menu.1 vote -
Capability to add shortcuts to link to an existing box file or folder
Capability to create a shortcut/bookmark/link to an existing file or folder that works with box drive. So il will be easy to refer to a folder or file. This will ease my work a lot and many other user. This basic apability should have been possible from the start. Thank you

2FA login security
Rather than using texting for 2FA, please switch to using a QR code, so we can use Authenticator apps to generate codes. Thank you.

Zapier "Find a File" Exact Match
It would be great for the "Find a File" action to be restricted to exact match. We are looking to create an automation that pushes a follow-up PDF to the same folder as the original by "Finding" the original.
Seems to work about 70% of the time, but when it fails, files could be accessed by others due to placement in the incorrect folder.

Utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator Files Without Box Drive
Currently, files that use external references (links) in Photoshop and Illustrator cannot access those references when opened directly from Box. Our company handles a large number of such files, but due to security concerns, we have not enabled Box Drive, which has hindered our effective use of Box. If external references could be utilized without Box Drive—similar to how Excel handles them—it would significantly enhance our ability to leverage Box.

Create a Hub Restriction for Box Shield
Add the ability to apply a Hub restriction (e.g., prevent content from being added to a Hub) in Shield. Users would be able to apply the Hub restriction within an access policy based on a classification label or content type. This would prevent unintentional internal and external access to content in a Hub and reduce confusion for external users that may be blocked from accessing content in a Hub due to other Shield external collaboration restrictions. This would be especially helpful for highly regulated industries like public sector agencies, government contractors, and financial services.

Upload Email Address Lookup Tool
Similar to the shared link lookup feature in the Content Manager, I need the ability to search for an Upload Email Address to find out what folder that email is pointing to.
There have been numerous times when I've been asked as the Box Admin to trace which folder an upload email addresses was enabled on. This is very difficult to determine as you have to first have an example of an attachment name that may have been uploaded previously, and then search for that file to find the folder it was posted to, and then view that folder's settings…

Add New Trigger under Signing Events for "Reassign Request"
There are times when our users would like a recipient, who is not part of the signing chain, added as a CC if a document is reassigned to a different signer. It would be nice to have a new trigger option under Relay/Workflow /Signing Events for "Reassign Request" where, if a document is reassigned, we could add an Outcome that would Send a Notification to a particular acct.

Add File Filtering Options in Box AI Hubs
<Current Challenge>
In some cases, it can be difficult to ensure that the most relevant files are referenced when generating answers in Box AI Hubs.<Suggestion>
It would be very helpful to have options to filter which files are referenced, such as:
-Limit by upload date
-Restrict to files in specific folders within the Hub

Disable downloading of files to those not on an Allow List
I have files I want hiring managers to see but not download. Give me the option (on files or folders) to allow/disallow downloading. Also, when a person wants to download, have it email me for permission of a one-time download or adding an email address to an Allow list if that person logs into Box.

About the inconvenience of Explorer-style display
When I open a folder and find that it doesn’t contain what I’m looking for, I press Backspace to return to the parent folder. However, in Explorer view, the folder I just opened ends up hidden just above the visible area. This is extremely inconvenient.
Why does the system place the folder I just opened in a position where it’s hidden above? It would make sense to keep the previous window state as it was, or at least move the recently opened folder to the top of the visible list. But hiding it above makes no sense at all. Please…1 vote -
Zones assigned on folder instead of user
Hi Team,
I have a customer who is interested in folder level zones assignment instead of folder owner. They are currently using the service accounts for each zones and sharing the content that way but customer ideally wants it to be folder based (ie. one user to have folders associated with different zones since their lawyers work with content across multiple regions).Is there perhaps something coming to the roadmap?

Fix keyword search
I'm trying to search content of the docs by keywords but it shows blank page. It only works when you search from "everywhere". Please fix this.

Enabling Document Tab creation in a Box G Doc.
Currently when creating a GDoc from box there is no ability to create Document Tabs, and it advises to save the doc as a GDoc, which is technically already the file format. Can this feature be enabled? It would be useful for project management without our company.
